본 저자들은 심방중격결손증이 있던 환자에서 심부정맥혈전증과 급성 폐혈전색전증이 일어난 후 기이성 색전으로 신장경색증이 발생한 환자를 보고하고자 한다. Coexistence of pulmonary embolism and systemic arterial embolism suggest the diagnosis of paradoxical embolism which suggest the presence of intracardiac defects such as patent foramen ovale. Atrial septal defect(ASD) in uncommon cause of paradoxical embolism. And also renal infarction is uncommon sequelae of paradoxical embolism. Here, we present rare case of renal infarction due to paradoxical embolism via ASD and a review the literature.
미술작품을 바라보는 관람자의 시선운동 연구 : 선행지식수준에 따른 시선의 차이

본 연구의 목적은 미술작품을 보는 관람자의 시선운동을 아이트래킹(eye-tracking)으로 추적함으로써, 미술작품에 대한 선행지식수준의 차이가 관람자의 수렴적 확산적 감상활동에 미치는 영향을 탐구하는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 미술교육 전공 대학생 5인과 타 교육 전공 대학생 5인, 총 10인을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구기간은 2019년 6월부터 10월까지 진행되었다. 연구방법은 아이트래커(eye-tracker) 기술을 활용한 시선 추적활동인 양적 연구방법과 연구 참여자의 대상자 특성파악을 위한 진단평가 및 사후 인터뷰를 통한 질적 연구방법을 동시에 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 관람자의 선행지식 수준이 높은 경우 작품을 감상할 때 특정 영역에서 시선이 집중되었으며, 주로 수렴적 탐색을 통해 작품을 감상하는 경향이 있었다. 둘째, 관람자의 선행지식 수준이 중간인 경우 작품을 감상하는 동안 수렴적 탐색과 확산적 탐색이 비교적 동시에 일어났다. 셋째, 관람자의 선행지식 수준이 낮은 경우 특정한 영역이 아닌, 전체 영역에서 고른 시선의 응시 분포를 발견할 수 있었는데, 이는 작품을 감상하는 동안 확산적 탐색이 집중적으로 나타났음을 의미한다. 본 연구는 미술작품을 감상하는 관람자의 시선운동이 선행지식 수준에 따른 차이를 보인다는 것을 발견하였으며, 시각과 관람자의 시선운동에 대한 연구가 교육현장에서 학생들을 가르치는 미술교사들에게 시각과 관련된 단서를 마련해 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study is to track the eye movements of the viewers who see the artworks by eye-tracking, explores the effect of the difference in prior knowledge level on artworks on the specific and diversive appreciation activities of viewers. Participants were 5 university students majoring in art education and 5 university students majoring in other education. A total of 10 students participated in the study. The study period lasted from June to October 2019. The research method was used both by quantitative research, which is an eye-tracking activity using eye-tracking technology, and qualitative research method through diagnostic evaluation and post-interview to identify the characteristics of the participants. The results of this study were as follows: First, when the viewers had a high level of prior knowledge, they showed intensive gaze in a certain area when admiring the work, and tended to look at the work through specific exploration. Second, when the viewers level of prior knowledge was medium, specific exploration and diversive exploration took place at the same time. This depends on the level of prior knowledge and the degree of prior information on the work. Third, when the level of prior knowledge of the viewers was low, the distribution of gaze of the gaze was evenly found in the whole area, not in the specific area, which means that the diversive exploration appeared intensively during the viewing of the work. This study found that the gaze movements of viewers who appreciate works of art differ according to the level of prior knowledge. It is expected that the study of the vision and the movement of the viewer s gaze will provide visual clues to the art teachers who teach students in the field of education.
후천성 면역 결핍증 환자에서 발생한 진행성 다발성 백질뇌병증 7예

Secondary opportunistic central nervous system infections occur in approximately one-third of patients with acquired immune deficiency syndrome. With the introduction of highly active antiretroviral therapy, the number of opportunistic infection cases has significantly decreased. However, the number of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) cases caused by opportunistic human JC polyomavirus has not decreased at a noticeable rate. In this report, seven patients with PML were evaluated at the infectious disease unit of the National Medical Center. Six of the 7 patients were not on antiretroviral therapy at the time of diagnosis. The mean patient age of the 6 men and 1 woman was 39 years. The individual CD4 cell counts were 58, 6, 18, 73, 90, 252, and 94 cells/μL. The mean CD4 cell count was 84 cells/μL. The most common clinical manifestation was focal weakness and the temporal lobe was mainly involved. Two of the patients died 52 days after the diagnosis was made. Three patients survived for more than 1 year without disease progression. We conclude that one must take a careful patient history, perform a neurological examination, and examine brain magnetic resonance images in patients with human immunodeficiency virus who show neurological symptoms. The scale of 2.4 ㎹ MCFC was taken to construct a high-efficiency and economical power generation system without CO2 emission into the atmosphere for utilizing its exhaust gas. The conventional steam turbine power generation system (STGS) was evaluated and the net generated power (NGP) was estimated to be only 133 ㎾ and the STGS is not economically feasible. A CO2-caputuring repowering system was proposed, where low temperature steam (LTS) produced at HRSG by using exhaust gas from MCFC is utilized as a main working fluid of a gas turbine, and the temperature of LTS was raised by combusting fuel in a combustor by using pure oxygen, not the air. It has been shown that NGP of the proposed system is 264 ㎾, and CO2 reduction amount is 608 t-CO2/y, compared to 306 t-CO2/y of STGS. The CO2 reduction cost was estimated to be negligible small, even when the costs of oxygen production and CO2 liquefaction facilities etc. were taken into account.

New thermosensitive nanoparticles. based on PNIPAAm-AA core and chitosan shell structure, were designed and synthesized for the controlled release of the loaded drug. PNIPAAm nanoparticle containing carboxylic group on their surface was synthesized using emulsion polymerization. The particle size of synthesized nanoparticles was varied from 380 nm to 25 nm as temperature of the dispersed medium increased. LMWSC-conjugated nanoparticles of 2wt% MBA, crosslinking monomer, leaded to a stable aqueous dispersion at concentration of 1mg/1ml otherwise showed gel collapse temperature. The effect of temperature on the dynamic behavior of the PNIPAAm chains were also studied by dynamic light scattering and UV-Vis absorption measurements.
