In this paper, we design a electro magnetic force equipment for the analyzing characteristics of EPPR Valve (Electro-Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve) solenoid and construct an experimental device to measuring the value of electro magnetic force according to the spool displacement and input current of valve . The experimental device fixes the linear stage to the jig, applies displacement to the valve and the input current to the valve using the power supply. The objective is to measure the pure magnetic force by amplifier the signal from the load cell connected to the spool end of the valve through the amplifier and removing the self weight of the spool through calibration.

제주도에는 화산활동에 의해 형성된 용암동굴이 지하 곳곳에 분포하고 있다. 본 사례에서는 도로공사 중 발견된 용암동굴의 보존을 위해 문화재청의 진동기준을 만족하도록, 공사중 장비사용에 의한 진동을 측정하였다. 공사완료 후 차량하중에 의한 동굴의 안정성을 평가하기 위하여 토공(성토) 시공시 및 교량 적용시에 대한 동적해석을 실시하여 진동치를 예측하였다. 본 사례를 통하여 향후 동굴이 발견되는 경우에 동굴의 안정성과 경제적인 공법을 적용할 수 있는 기초자료로 제공하고자 한다.

Recently, swash plate type hydraulic axial piston motor are being extensively used in the world, because of simple design, light weight and effective cost. Structural problem of the swash plate type motor is that tilting angle of swash plate should be limited to relatively small value and lateral force on pistons has an undesirable effect in reciprocating motion. To solve these problems, piston rod mechanism, which is commonly used in bent axis type motor is considered to be applied to the swash plate type motor. In this paper, the torque for the swash plate motion of a swash plate hydraulic motor with constant velocity joint and piston rod mechanism is analyzed using mathematical modeling and Virtual.lab, a multibody dynamics analysis program.

Automatic power transmission systems consisted of a torque converter and several planetary gear sets, clutches and brakes are controlled by a hydraulic shift control circuit and an electronic transmission control unit. The hydraulic circuit serves for the operation of the torque converter and lubrication oil supply of the transmission system as well as for the actuation of clutches for the automatic gear shift. The complicated hydraulic control circuit constructed by many spools, solenoids, orifices and flow passages are integrated into one small valve block and it is powered by one hydraulic pump. In this paper, a test equipment was developed to measure the oil consumption of each component at various wide operating conditions. Test data about 730 sets acquired from five test items are analyzed and discussed on the oil capacity of the circuit.

In this paper, the authors benchmark a servo valve model for the fuel supply system of Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) in the KHP helicopter. This valve is directly driven with a torque motor, and the size of small gap controlled by a flapper can make change of flow rate under given pressure drop between inlet and outlet. CFD analyses using a commercial code, ANSYS-CFX 10 are performed for the series of three-dimensional models at various openness conditions. The computational results on simplified models show that CFD can play a fine roll in the design of flow path as well as in the estimation of flow force due to its precision and good repeatability. Consequently, the CFD analysis helps valve designers to understand its flow characteristics from the basis of physical fundamentals.

Semi-active cabin air suspension system improves driver"s comfort by controlling the damping characteristics of cabin suspension system continuously or discretely in accordance with driving situation. A field test method of evaluating the ride performance of the system has a drawback. It requires a lot of time and money on repetitive test, due to the sensitivity of field test. On the other hand, the test with multi axial hydraulic vibration system can obtain the repeatability of test, better than the field test method. In this paper, the procedures of ride performance test and control logic tuning with the table are presented. Drive files of the table can be represented with the almost same input condition as field test data.

Excavator is a construction machinery used for excavation, loading operation, etc. Inthe stage of designing excavator,the simulation and analysis are necessary. Especially designing the size, shape, physical value, andmotion of excavator is one of the most important design pointsfordesigning excavator. But the commonexcavator modelin Amesimdoesn’t include physical quantities of cylinder like motion of intertia, mass, and centerofgravity. Each cylinder’sweightin a 20ton excavator is around 70kg to 200kg and the it maymake a significant differentceat excavator’s motion. This paper developedthenovel cylindermodel and comparred it to previous cylinder model. This paper also presents more precise simulation model.It can be used formonitoring the situation of excavatormodel, development of fault detection algorithm, etc.
