This paper is proposed the vector control of 3-phase induction motor drive system by photovoltaic generation. For performance of vector control using a current control voltage source inverter(CC-VSI). CC-VSI is controlled by torque and flux producing component of motor current, relating with current and and voltage value of photovoltaic arrays at maximum power point that varies follow different level of insolation. The MPPT using a DC-DC converter controlled the duty cycle to track maximum power from PV under different insolation conditions. The simulation results are shown that the characteristics and performance of drive system, which varies as each conditions of light by expresses in voltage(V<SUB>dq</SUB>), current(I<SUB>dq</SUB>), speed of motor and torque.

Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) has become a popular choice in electric vehicle applications, due to their excellent power to weight ratio. In order to maximize the efficiency in such applications, this paper proposes the FNN(Fuzzy Neural-Network)-PI controller. The controllable electrical loss which consists of the copper loss and the iron loss can be minimized by the error back propagation algorithm(EBPA). This paper considers the parameter variation about the motor operation. The operating characteristics controlled by efficiency optimization control are examined in detail.

This paper proposes a novel maximum power point tracking(MPPT) control algorithm considering insolation to improve efficiency of PV system. The propoed algorithm is composed perturb and observe(PO) method and constant voltage(CV) method. PO method is simple to realize and CV method is possible to tracking MPP with low insolation. Response characteristics of proposed algorithm is compared to conventional PO method with insolation variation. This paper proves the validity of proposed algorithm through the analysis result.

The conventional fixed gain PI controlle is very sensitive to step change of command speed, parameter variation and load disturbances. The precise speed control of interior permanent magnet synchronous motor(IPMSM) drive becomes a complex issue due to nonlinear coupling among its winding currents and the rotor speed as well as the nonlinear electromagnetic developed torque. Therefore, there exists a need to tune the PI controller parameters on-line to ensure optimum drive performance over a wide range of operating conditions. This paper proposes high performance control of IPMSM drive using bybrid intelligent-PI(HIPI) controller, model reference adaptive fuzzy control(MFC). The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled ALM-FNN, MFC. Also, this paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the HIPI, MFC controller.

??In this paper proposed the solar tracking system to use direct fuzzy control order to increase an output of the PV (Photovoltaic) array. The solar tracking system operated two DC motors driving by signal of photo sensor. The control of dual axes is not an easy task due to nonlinear dynamics and unavailability of the parameters. Recently, artificial intelligent control of the fuzzy control, neural-network and genetic algorithm etc. have been studied. The fuzzy control made a nonlinear dynamics to well perform and had a robust and highly efficient characteristic about a parameter variable as well as a nonlinear characteristic. Hence the fuzzy control was used to perform the tracking system after comparing with error values of setting-up, nonlinear altitude and azimuth. In this paper designed a DFC(Direct Fuzzy Control)controller for improving output of PV array and evaluated comparison with efficient of conventional PI controller. The data which were obtained by experiment were able to show a validity of the proposed controller.

Lane marking detection is one of important issues in the field of autonomous mobile robot. Especially, in urban environment, like pavement roads of downtown or tour tracks of Science Park, which have continuous patterns on the surface of the road, the lane marking detection becomes more important ability. Although there were many researches about lane detection and lane tracing, many of them used vision sensors mainly to detect lane marking. In this paper, we obtain 2 dimensional library data of ‘Intensity’ and ‘Distance’ using one laser rangefinder only. We design a simple classifier and filtering algorithm for the lane detection which uses only one LRF (Laser Range Finder). Allowing extended usage of LRF, this research provides more functionality not only in range finding but also in lane detecting to mobile robots. This work will be technically helpful for robot developers to design more simple and efficient autonomous driving system using LRF.

This paper proposes maximum torque control of IPMSM drive using adaptive learning mechanism-fuzzy neural network (ALM-FNN) controller, model reference adaptive fuzzy control(MFC) and artificial neural network(ANN). This control method is applicable over the entire speed range which considered the limits of the inverter's current and voltage rated value. For each control mode, a condition that determines the optimal d-axis current j<SUB>d</SUB> for maximum torque operation is derived. This paper considers the design and implementation of novel technique of high performance speed control for IPMSM using ALM-FNN, MFC and ANN controller. The proposed control algorithm is applied to IPMSM drive system controlled ALM-FNN, MFC and ANN controller, the operating characteristics controlled by maximwn torque control are examined in detail. Also, this paper proposes the analysis results to verify the effectiveness of the ALM-FNN, MFC and ANN controller.
