High pressure deuterium (HPD) annealing is an advancing technology for the fabrication of modern semiconductor devices. In this work, gate-enclosed FETs are fabricated on a silicon substrate as test vehicles. After a cycle for the HPD annealing, the device parameters such as threshold voltage (V<sub>TH</sub>), subthreshold swing (SS), on-state current (I<sub>ON</sub>), off-state current (I<sub>OFF</sub>), and gate leakage (I<sub>G</sub>) were measured and compared depending on the HPD. The HPD annealing can passivate the dangling bonds at Si-SiO<sub>2</sub> interfaces as well as eliminate the bulk trap in SiO<sub>2</sub>. It can be concluded that adding the HPD annealing as a fabrication process is very effective in improving device reliability, performance, and variability.

Magnetic skyrmion are an active research field in the rapid development owing to their potential for novel physics and applications of efficient next-generation spintronics device. In this work, we investigate the physical definition of skyrmions, and discuss skyrmion-based potential applications such as information storage, logic gates, neuromorphic devices, and non-conventional computing devices.

This paper presents a path planning algorithm of the unmanned aerial vehicle for the neutralization of the enemy firepower. The long range firepower of the ememy is usually located at the rear side of the mountain which is difficult to bomb. The path planner not only consider the differential constraints of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) but also consider the final approaching angle constraint. This problem is easily solved by incorporating the analytical upper bounded continuous curvature path smoothing algorithm into the Rapidly Exploring Random Tree (RRT) planner. The proposed algorithm can build a feasible path satisfying the kinematic constraints of the UAV on the fly. In addition, the curvatures of the path are continuous over the whole path. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can generate a feasible path of the UAV for the bombing mission regardless of the posture of the tunnel.

As complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) is scaled down to achieve higher chip density, thin-film layers have been deposited iteratively. The poor film uniformity resulting from deposition or chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) significantly affects chip yield. Therefore, the development of novel fabrication processes to enhance film uniformity is required. In this context, high-pressure deuterium annealing (HPDA) is proposed to reduce the surface roughness resulting from the CMP. The HPDA is carried out in a diluted deuterium atmosphere to achieve cost-effectiveness while maintaining high pressure. To confirm the effectiveness of HPDA, time-of-flight secondary-ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) are employed. It is confirmed that the absorbed deuterium gas facilitates the diffusion of silicon atoms, thereby reducing surface roughness.

The application of the UAV for the search and rescue mission is actively investigated recently. The purpose of the search mission is to detect the victim quickly. Initial research for this area is to examine the lost zone with fixed pattern. However, the performance of this approach depends on the initial point and the search pattern. To solve this problem, the probabilistic search approach is studied widely instead of using fixed pattern. This paper is related to the UAV search algorithm based on the probabilistic theory for the support of the search and rescue mission. Mutual information is used as a information measure to search the victim and a search and track simulator is developed to track the victim continuously until the rescue team arrives.

많은 사람들이 현재 위치에서 가까운 곳의 영화를 선택하는 현실과 달리, 위치에 기반한 영화 정보 검색 앱은 찾아보기 어렵다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 현재 위치에 기반한 영화 검색 앱을 개발하였다. 스마트 폰의 GPS를 사용해 사용자의 위치를 파악하고, 가까운 거리에 존재하는 영화관과 그 영화관의 상영시간표를 보여주며, 특정 영화의 예매를 원할 경우 원활하고 신속한 예매를 도와주고, 증강현실을 사용한 길 찾기 기능으로 영화관까지 안내하는 기능을 갖추었다. 추가로 사용자의 선호 장르와 예매 기록을 기반으로 새로 개봉한 영화를 추천해주는 기능도 구현하였다. Many movie-goers choose movies based on the adjacency, but location-based movie and theater information application is hardly found in the Play store. In this paper, we developed a movie information application based on the user’s current location. By using the smartphone’s GPS location finder, users can identify their location and then nearby movie theaters. Movie schedules are also displayed matching the search results. Additionally, the application provides quick and convenient ticket booking, navigation with augmented reality(AR), and recommendation of newly released films based on the user’s preference value and previous selection records.

탐색구조용 무인항공기는 민간부분에서 최근에 활발히 연구되고 있는 분야이다. 탐색임무의 목표는 최단시간에 조난자를 발견하는 것이다. 이를 위해서 조난 구역을 일정한 패턴으로 움직이며 조사하는 방법이 초기에 많이 연구되었다. 그러나 이 방법의 문제점은 탐색임무 초기에 조난자의 정확한 위치를 파악할 수 없기 때문에 탐색 패턴의 형태와 초기 탐색임무 시작위치에 따라 그 성능이 좌우되는 단점이 있다. 이러한 초기 정보의 불확실성에 의해 유발되는 문제점을 해결하기 위해 최근에는 고정적인 패턴 탐색이 아닌 확률론적으로 해당 구역을 탐색하는 방법이 활발히 연구되고 있다. 이 논문은 확률론적 이론을 기반으로 조난자 탐색구조 임무지원을 위한 무인항공기의 탐색에 관한 연구내용이다. 본 연구에서는 상호 정보(Mutual Information)의 정보측정치를 이용하여 조종사의 조난 조종사를 탐색하고 발견된 조종사를 구조팀이 도착하기까지 지속적으로 추적하면 조종사의 위치를 알려주는 탐색 및 추적 시뮬레이터를 개발하였다. F-5E/F 외부 연료탱크 수평 핀 균열 분석 및 재설계

본 논문에서는 마그네슘합금 재료로 제작된 F-5E/F의 외부 연료탱크 수평 핀의 균열발생 원인을 분석하고 적절한 대체 재질을 검토하여 탱크의 투하 안전성을 보장하도록 핀의 형상을 재설계하였다. 재료는 재료의 성질과 조달 용이성을 고려하여 강도 및 파괴인성이 기존재료보다 강하지만 핀 1개당 65%의 무게증가가 예상되는 알루미늄 합금 2024-T351을 선택하였다. 핀의 무게 증가로 인한 연료탱크 무게 중심의 후방 이동을 허용한계 이내로 유지하기 위하여 크기를 20% 축소하고, 두께 7 ㎜, 곡률 반경 8.5 ㎜로 설계된 핀에 대하여 정적 및 동적 응력을 해석한 결과 후방 체결부 및 체결 홀의 안전계수가 증가되었음이 확인되었다. In this work the replacement material for magnesium alloy was investigated and an optimized design was suggested for the horizontal fin of a fighter's external fuel tank. For the replacement of magnesium alloy, Aluminum alloy, AL 2034-T351, was selected by considering material properties and its procurement. The strength and fracture toughness properties of AL 2034-T351 are stronger than those of magnesium alloy, but the specific weight of AL 2034-T351 is heavier than that of magnesium alloy by 65%. To meet the allowable limit of C.G. shift in the tank, the design of horizontal fin was optimized by reducing the original shape by 20% and resizing the maximum thickness to 7 ㎜. From the results of the static and dynamic stress analysis for improving the safety factor of the joint section and the joint hole, the radius of curvature in the aft joint section of the new fin was designed as 8.5㎜.
