What makes a certain molecule to elicit allergic responses? It has been a long-running question in allergology and immunology. Molecular properties of allergens have been characterized for last 30 years. However, it has become evident that allergen alone cannot induce allergic reactions. The way of introduction to the immune system and adjuvant-like activity of concomitantly administered molecules are thought to be important. Physical properties which facilitate delivery may characterize inhalant allergens. Buoyant and sticky antigens with small molecular weight (10.50 kDa) may be carried by particles and remain airborne. Most allergens could be grouped into allergen families according to biochemical properties. Protease, lipid-binding/transfer protein, actin-binding protein, Ca-binding protein, α-amylase/trypsin inhibitor, and pectate lyase account for a significant number of allergens. Biochemical properties which enhance the activation of Th2-immune responses could be another characteristic of allergens. The protease activity of allergens can help break the skin barrier or mucus membrane and its penetration into the body. The capacity of allergen to carry immunologically active substances could increase the allergenicity. Lipid-binding ability is believed to play a role in this aspect. Danger signals, such as endotoxin, β-glucan, and chitin derived from the pathogens, commensals and from the environment can enhance the immune response to allergens. The known characteristics of food allergens are resistance to heat, acid, and digestive enzymes. However, food processing makes it more complex. Understanding the intrinsic properties of allergens may shed light on the mechanisms on the pathogenesis of allergic disorders and improve the diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. 주택재개발사업과정의 갈등 유형과 사업지연에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 대전광역시 중구 주택재개발사업을 대상으로 -

본 연구는 주택재개발사업 지연의 원인이 되는 갈등의 요인을 추진단계별로 분석하고, 추진단계별 갈등이 사업지연에 미치는 영향의 정도를 회귀분석을 통하여 규명하였다. 관련 이론과 선행연구를 통하여 파악된 갈등의 유형을 대전시 5개 사업지구에 대한 현장연구와 전문가 및 주민설문조사를 통해 갈등에 대한 인식의 정도와 사업지연에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이러한 분석결과를 토대로 주택재개발사업에 주는 시사점을 도출하여 향후 제도개선 정책을 제안하였다. 조사 및 분석대상이 대전시 5개 구역의 조합원을 대상으로 한정함으로써 연구결과를 주택재개발사업 전반에 보편적으로 적용되기에는 한계가 있다. 그러나 기존의 주택재개발사업 갈등에 대한 연구에서는 경험적인 자료를 통해 사업지연에 미치는 영향의 정도를 분석한 사례를 찾아보기 어렵다는 점에서 본 연구의 실천적 의미를 찾아볼 수 있다. The purpose of this study is to analyse the types and impacts of conflict, and to give some policy implications in the process of housing redevelopment project. For this purpose, five housing redevelopment sites were selected to make a field study, including the opinion survey of specialists and redevelopment cooperative members. Some policy implications were suggested as below. First, it is suggested to make specialized evaluation of the economic and financial feasibility at each housing redevelopment site, and distribute the evaluation results to every cooperative member. Second, to prevent commitment irregularity of housing redevelopment project, it is required more clearly and strong supervision by local government. Lastly, it is necessary to reduce the legally designated housing redevelopment areas to enhance the feasibility of housing redevelopment project.
우리나라 집먼지진드기 생태에 관한 고찰 및 표준 조사법 제안

A large number of house dust mites live in homes worldwide and produce the most important allergens which cause allergic diseases to the genetically predisposed individuals perennially. Herewith, the literatures published on the survey of dust mites in Korea were reviewed. In most studies, mites were isolated and investigated from the house dust samples collected by using household vacuum cleaners. Among more than 30 species of house dust mites recorded in Korea, Dermato-phagoides farinae was found to be the most predominant species in homes, followed by D. pteronyssinus. House dust mites were most frequently encountered in dust from bedding samples followed by kitchen samples, in which Tyrophagus putrescentiae, a storage mite species, was the most frequently found species. The highest mite density and allergen concentration were shown in autumn. It would be useful if the standard method for the investigation of dust mite density is established for the field survey. Measuring the number of mites per unit area (1 m2) collected in a given time (2 minutes) using a house-hold vacuum cleaners equiped with nonwovens is suggested here as an objective and convenient method for the survey on house dust mites. Mites can be detected directly from fine dust samples using a stereomicroscope or isolated by technique utilizing saturated salt water. In the future, more field surveys and laboratory studies are necessary for the investigation on the relationship between house dust mites in homes and various allergic diseases.
