인지과학적 관점에서 2015 개정 교육과정이 촉진하는 학생들의 정적분 개념 구성 분석

The purpose of this study is to explore whether the korean curriculum promotes students' ability to interpret and solve application problems related to definite integral and their teaching and learning methods. To this end, based on previous studies on students' perception of definite integral, conceptual resources expected to be constructed after learning definite integral were derived, and based on the 2015 revised curriculum achievement standards and applied textbooks, we analyzed what kind of conceptual resources the curriculum is related to students. As a result, the conceptual resources activated by students who have learned definite integral are 'sum of rectangular areas', 'sum of line segments', 'width of figure', and 'difference of indefinite integral function value', of which 'sum of rectangular areas' resources are useful in solving application problems related to definite integral. As a result of analyzing the 2015 revision of the mathematics curriculum related to definite integrals and textbooks applying them, this curriculum does not provide enough opportunities for students to develop their ability to solve application problems related to definite integrals. In order to do this, additional teaching and learning strategies were needed at the school site level. 본 연구의 목적은 우리나라 교육과정이 학생들에게 정적분 관련 응용문제를 정적분으로 해석하고 해결할 수 있는 능력을 촉진하는지 여부와 그 교수⋅학습 방안을 탐구하는 것이다. 이를 위해 학생들의 정적분 개념 인식에 대한 선행 연구를 바탕으로 학생들이 정적분을 학습한 후 구성할 것으로 예상되는 개념적 자원을 도출하였고, 2015 개정 교육과정 성취기준과 이를 적용한 교과서를 바탕으로 교육과정이 학생들의 어떤 개념적 자원과 관계되어 있는지 분석해 보았다. 그 결과 정적분을 학습한 학생들이 활성화하는 개념적 자원은 ‘직사각형 넓이의 합’, ‘선분의 합’, ‘도형의 넓이’, ‘부정적분 함숫값의 차’이며, 이 중 ‘직사각형 넓이의 합’자원이 정적분과 관련된 응용문제를 해결하는 데 유용함을 알 수 있었다. 2015 개정 수학과 교육과정의 정적분 관련 성취기준과 이를 적용한 교과서 분석 결과 이 교육과정은 학생들에게 정적분 관련 응용문제 해결 능력을 기르는데 충분한 기회를 제공하지 못하고 있으며, ‘직사각형 넓이의 합’자원을 지속해서 활성화할 수 있도록 학교 현장 차원의 추가적인 교수⋅학습 전략이 필요하였다.

The γ-Aminobutyric acid (GABA) that is found in prokaryotic and eukaryotic organisms has been used in various ways as a signaling molecule or a significant component generating metabolic energy under conditions of nutrient limitation or stress, through GABA catabolism. Succinic semialdehyde dehydrogenase (SSADH) catalyzes the oxidation of succinic semialdehyde to succinic acid in the final step of GABA catabolism. Here, we report the catalytic properties and two crystal structures of SSADH from Streptococcus pyogenes (SpSSADH) regarding its cofactor preference. Kinetic analysis showed that SpSSADH prefers NADP+ over NAD+ as a hydride acceptor. Moreover, the structures of SpSSADH were determined in an apo-form and in a binary complex with NADP+ at 1.6 Å and 2.1 Å resolutions, respectively. Both structures of SpSSADH showed dimeric conformation, containing a single cysteine residue in the catalytic loop of each subunit. Further structural analysis and sequence comparison of SpSSADH with other SSADHs revealed that Ser158 and Tyr188 in SpSSADH participate in the stabilization of the 2’-phosphate group of adenine-side ribose in NADP+. Our results provide structural insights into the cofactor preference of SpSSADH as the gram-positive bacterial SSADH.

The purpose of this study is to develop pedagogical tasks of understanding the definition of definite integral for high school students and to analyze responses of students. We set up the basic direction and developed task materials based on AiC(Abstraction in Context) framework and RBC(Recognizing, Building-with, and Constructing) model. We also draw some pedagogical implications through analysis of data including worksheets, post-test, and interviews. When one teach the area of regions as the limit of riemann sum, it is helpful that students calculate the sum of area of rectangles between the curve and -axis, and think what happens when the number of rectangles is increasing before thinking about the area. Moreover, it need to be considered making some divisions to enhance mathematical maturity between the meaning of definite integral and of indefinite integral instead of consecutive definitions. 본 연구의 목적은 고등학생의 정적분 정의 이해를 위한 교수학적 시사점을 알아보는 것이다. 이를 위하여 정적분과 부정적분 의미의 역사적인 변천과정, 우리나라와 일본의 교육과정의 차이점, 선행연구 분석을 통해 정적분의 여러 가지 의미를 탐구하였고, 정적분 교수학습의 핵심 요소를 추출하여 정적분 관련 교수학습 과제를 제작하고 실험 수업하여 정적분의 정의 이해 증진을 위한 교수학적 시사점을 도출하였다. 교수학습 과제 제작, 자료수집 및 분석은 상황적 추상화이론(AiC이론)에 근거하여 진행하였다. 그 결과 리만합의 극한으로서 도형의 넓이를 지도할 때, 곡선과 축 사이에 직사각형들의 넓이의 합을 계산해보고 직사각형의 개수가 많아질 때 나타나게 될 현상을 추측해 보는 활동을 먼저 하는 것이 유용함을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 정적분과 부정적분의 정의를 연속하여 제시하지 말고, 정적분의 의미를 충분히 음미한 후 부정적분을 제시하는 것이 바람직함을 확인하였다.

Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT), a genetically heterogeneous group of diseases in the peripheral nervous system, is characterized by progressive and symmetrical distal weakness resulting in gait abnormality. The necessity of the diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers has been raised for both basic research and clinical practice in CMT. Since biomarkers for animal study of CMT are limited, we evaluated the feasibility of gait parameters as tool for measuring disease phenotype of CMT mouse model. Using a Trembler-J (Tr-J) mouse, a CMT type 1 (CMT1) mouse model, we analyzed kinematic parameters such as angles of hip, knee and ankle (sagittal plane), and spatial parameters including step width and stride length (transverse plane). Regarding of kinematic parameters, Tr-J mice exhibited less plantarflexed ankle during the swing phase and more dorsiflexed ankle at the terminal stance compared to control mice. The range of motion in ankle angle of Tr-J mice was significantly greater than that of control mice. In spatial parameter, Tr-J mice exhibited wider step width compared to control mice. These results are similar to previously reported gait patterns of CMT1 patients. In comparison with other markers such as nerve conduction study and rotarod test, gait parameters dynamically reflected the disease progression of CMT1 mice. Therefore, these data imply that gait parameters can be used as useful tools to analyzed the disease phenotype and progression during preclinical study of peripheral neuropathy such as CMT.
