과학교과교육 : 서안경계류를 모식화한 실험을 통한 학생들의 이해도 변화 분석

본 연구는 전라북도 전주에 위치한 고등학교 학생들에게 장승환 외(2010)이 개발한 장치를 사용하여 학생들이 서안경계류를 이해하는데 도움이 되는지 알아보고자 하였다. 미리 실험을 실시한 학생들은 사전 조사와 비교하여 사후 검사에서 서안경계류 관련 항목이 높은 성취도를 보였으나, 실험집단과 통제집단 모두 전향력에 관한 항목에서는 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. We investigated if the apparatus and method developed by Jang et al (2010) would help the students understand the properties of western boundary current (WBC). Students showed the high achievement in understanding of the WBC if they have carded out the developed experiment in advance. The material we tested, however, did not show any clear effects to understand the Coriolis force.

This paper demonstrates the result of Safety Integrity Level (SIL) allocation for Honam KTX Train Control System (TCS), by applying the semi-quantitative approach. TCS is defined in this paper as the set of TVM SEI, Supplementary Safety Equipment, Power Equipment, TCS Integrated Maintenance System (TIMS), and Local Control Panel (LCP). SIL allocation is performed for these constituent subsystems of TCS. Three approaches for SIL allocation being widely used in railway application are compared in terms of the conservativeness of the allocation result; qualitative, quantitative, and semi-quantitative methods. The semi-quantitative method, based on the risk matrix and the relationship between Tolerable Hazard Rate (THR) and SIL, is less pessimistic than the qualitative method, but more conservative than the quantitative method, in the sense that it utilizes more information (e.g., risk reduction factors involved in the hazard occurrence) than the qualitative method which purely depends on the configuration of Risk Graph. Based on three principles of the semi-quantitative method, the SIL allocation process is performed for the subsystems composing TCS.

This study describes the results of Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA) performed for Train Control System (TCS) of Honam KTX Line. PHA is performed to identify hazards at system level based on the risk-based approach followed by IEC 61508 and other relevant international standards. The hazards are firstly classified by the operational functions of railway system proposed by AEIF (The European Association for Railway Interoperability). Then, the hazards are identified in more detail according to the function of TCS in the process of the railway operation. In doing this, the relevant equipment among TCS are identified. The result shows that PHA can be used to demonstrate which hazard could be expected and which consequences could occur in the process of railway operation as the result of their functional failure(s). This way of description is a starting point for an operation or technical realization demanding TCS. In addition, the result can be used for allocating Safety Integrity Level (Sn") for each subsystem composing TCS and for generating any safety requirements that might not be taken into account in the system requirements.
품질경영시스템 활용이 R&D 연구원의 사용자 만족도에 미치는 영향

This paper is intended to examine a relationship regarding whether innovativeness, interactivity, system quality and information quality, extended variable, has an effect on R&D researcher`s user satisfaction through the mediation of ease of use and usefulness after applying an extended technology acceptance model to quality management system. A total of 250 questionnaires were distributed through face-to-face interview, and 158 questionnaires were used for statistical analysis. In order to prove the validity of results of testing a hypothesis, the validity and reliability of measurement instrument was tested in advance. According to the results of testing an indirect effect on information quality, system quality, interactivity and innovativeness, independent variable, it shows that innovativeness, system quality and information quality produced a statistically significant indirect effect on user satisfaction. It is thought that the results of paper can be utilized to prepare for effective system development, establishment and design through the quality management system user satisfaction of R&D researchers at the point of contact for quality management that company pursues.

This paper represents the fundamental research results for the durability of nuclear power plant(NPP) which used to concrete mixed with fly ash in Korea. On the other hand, high level analytical equipments like SEM, XRD etc. allow to obtain more accurate information of cementitious materials. Thus, chemical and surface analysis of cement paste with 30% of fly ash is performed using these techniques. The X-ray differaction (XRD) results showed that the hydration reaction of cement is more dominant compared to pozzolanic reaction of fly ash at early ages. Also, the scanning electron microscope (SEM) results revealed the surface of fly ash particles was covered by C-S-H gels due to the reaction of fly ash and calcium hydroxide.
