울산신항 남항 2단계 사업으로 인한 진하해수욕장의 표사이동특성 변화

진하해수욕 장의 해안침식과 회야강 하구 퇴적 현상을 규명하기 위한 다양한 모니터링, 현장실험, 수리모 형실험 및 수치해석 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 진하해수욕장의 파랑모델(SWAN)과 파랑-흐름 동 시계산이 가능한 SWASH모델을 이용하여 진하해수욕장의 파랑 및 흐름특성을 파악하였으며 울산신항 남항 2단계 사업시행으로 인한 진하해 수욕장에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 검토결과 울산신항 남항 2단계 사업완료후 진하해수욕장 전면해안의 내습파랑 감소로 인한 흐름 감소가 나타났으며, 특히 명선도 북측해안에서의 흐름저감이 두드러지게 나타나 현재의 표사이동경향의 변화가 발생할 것으로 예측된다.
간암으로 오인된 Castleman 병: 증례 보고 및 문헌 고찰

Castleman`s disease is a rare disease characterized by lymph node hyperplasia. Although Castleman`s disease can occur wherever lymphoid tissue is found, it rarely appears in the abdominal cavity, and is especially rare adjacent to the liver. Here, we report a rare case of Castleman`s disease in the portal area that mimicked a hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) in a chronic hepatitis B patient. A 40 year-old woman with chronic hepatitis B presented with right upper quadrant discomfort. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging results showed a 2.2 cm-sized, exophytic hypervascular mass in the portal area. HCC was suspected. However, histologic examination revealed Castleman`s disease. We suggest that Castleman`s disease should be included as a rare differential diagnosis of a hypervascular mass in the portal area, even in patients with chronic hepatitis B. Most of the short period waves are blocked by the breakwaters when the short period irregular waves propagate into the ports. However, nonlinear irregular wave numerical experiments show that the long waves generated by the nonlinear interaction is predominant in the port. Seiches phenomenon in Geumjin Fishing Port is very similar to 60 and 300 second harbor oscillations. By arranging the inner breakwater of the proper length in the inside of the port, it is possible to effectively reduce seiches, as well as the short-period wave, and significantly improve the harbor tranquility. In the case of rectangular basin type such as the Geumjin Fishing Port, the multi-directional irregular wave numerical model should be used for the investigation and countermeasures for the harbor tranquility.

In this study, we analyzed coastal topography change by beach survey nine times a year after installation of a sediment transport reduction facilities(ton-bag) on the sea between Jinha beach and Myeongseondo in order to investigate the cause of erosion on the Jinha beach and deposition on the Hoeya river estuary. Also, we selected the point of flow property on behind the Myeongseondo analyzing wave-induced current upon wave conditions using SWASH model. As a result, the characteristic of sediment transport at the Jinha beach was found as below : the transport from the South to the North is superior, whereupon deposition occurs continuously on the Hoeya river estuary and erosion occurs continuously on the Jinha beach. Furthermore, wave-induced current at behind the Myeongseondo shows different tendency depends on intensity of wave breaking due to complicated topographic characteristics even though it is same wave direction.

In this study, harbor tranquility was evaluated using the numerical modeling tools, SWAN and SWASH. In addition, the numerical simulation results were compared with the results of a hydraulic experiment. The final results showed that the SWASH estimated the wave heights qualitatively well inside the harbor while SWAN underestimated the wave heights especially in the area of wave diffraction.

There are various etiologies of duodenojejunitis such as Henoch-Schonlein purpura (H-S purpura), vasculitis, Crohn`s disease, celiac sprue, ischemia, lymphoma, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, bacteria or parasite infection, radiation, drug induced jejunitis, eosinophilic jejunitis, and toxins. A 31-year-old man presented with left upper quadrant pain. He did not have febrile sense, hematochezia, melena, diarrhea, arthralgia and hematuria. He had neither drug history nor traveling history. Esophagogastroduo-denoscopy showed diffuse mucosal erythema and segmental hemorrhagic erosions on the distal area to the descending portion of the duodenum and proximal jejunum, which were commonly observed in the gastrointestinal involvement of H-S purpura. However, he showed no skin lesions, joint and urologic problems until the discharge. Autoimmune markers such as antinuclear antibody and antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody were negative. Celiac and mesenteric angiogram showed no vascular abnormality. After the administration of oral prednisolone 40 mg daily for therapeutic trial, abdominal pain and endoscopic lesions were improved. He experienced relapses of same episode without skin lesions 16 times during follow-up of 8 years, which were also treated with prednisolone. The abdominal computed tomography during the follow-up also showed no significant finding. We report a case of primary recurrent duodenojejunitis similar to the gastrointestinal involvement of H-S purpura without purpura.
