간호관리학 교육에서의 ChatGPT 활용 가능성 탐색: 간호사 국가시험 간호관리학을 중심으로

목적 본 연구는 간호관리학 교육에서 ChatGPT의 활용 가능성을 확인하기 위한 것으로, 간호사 국가시험 중 간호관리학 과목의 문항에 대해 ChatGPT가 생성한 응답을 확인하여 ChatGPT의 수행능력을 확인하였다. 방법 간호관리학 교육 분야에서의 적용 가능성을 파악하기 위한 탐색적 연구로 2019년부터 2024년까지의 6년 동안의 간호사 국가시험 중 간호관리학 과목 출제 문항에 대한 ChatGPT의 정답률을 분석하였다. 결과 ChatGPT의 간호사 국가시험 간호관리학 과목에 대한 6년 동안의 평균 정답률은 61.1%이고, 48.6%∼71.4%의 분포를 보였다. 간호관리학 과목의 7개 분야 중 가장 정답률이 높은 분야는 지휘(70.0%)이고, 가장 낮은 분야는 47.6%로 간호전문직의 이해이다. 간호관리학 과목의 6년 동안의 평균 정답률(61.1%)보다 높은 정답률을 보인 영역은 지휘, 조직, 인적자원관리, 기획이고, 낮은 영역은 통제, 간호관리단위, 간호전문직의 이해 영역이다. 결론 ChatGPT는 간호사 국가시험의 간호관리학 교과목에서 합격 수준을 넘는 수행능력을 보여주었다. 이를 통하여 간호교육에서 ChatGPT의 활용 가능성을 보여주었다. 따라서 간호교육에서 ChatGPT를 적극적으로 활용하여 교육의 효과와 제한점을 확인하는 연구가 필요하다. Objectives This study aimed to explore the applicability of ChatGPT in nursing management education by evaluating the responses generated by ChatGPT to questions on the nursing management subject during the national examination for nurses. Methods An exploratory study was used to evaluate the percentages of correct answers provided by ChatGPT for the national nurse examination focusing on nursing management subjects from 2019 to 2024. Results The 6-year average percentage of correct answers was around 61.1%(range: 48.6%∼71.4%) by ChatGPT. Among the seven areas of nursing management, the field with the highest percentage of correct answers is commanding (70.0%), and the lowest is 47.6%, which is the understanding of nursing professions. The areas with a higher percentage of correct answers than the average 61.1% of the nursing management were commanding, organizing, staffing, and planning, and the lower areas were controlling, management of nursing units and understanding of nursing professions. Conclusions ChatGPT showed performance beyond acceptance in the nursing management course of the Nurse National Examination. Through this, the possibility of using ChatGPT in nursing education was shown. Therefore, research is needed to confirm the effectiveness and limitations of education by actively using ChatGPT in nursing education.
Microethnographical Methods in the Language Classroom

This article is to present some basic concepts of ethnography and microethnography which are not familiar to Korean contexts, but getting popular globally in the field of research in language learning classroom. This paper begins with the concepts clarification of ethnography and variated one, microethnography. Focusing on microethnography as an applicable research methodology, this paper describes its specific methods in order. A couple of studies on language learning conducted by using microethnographical methods are presented to show vivid examples of how those methods are used in actual research fields.

본 연구는 한국에 거주하는 이민자의 건강정보 이용실태를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 서울과 경기도 소재의 ‘이주노동자 무료 진료소’를 이용하는 이민자 171명을 대상으로 설문 조사하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계, Chi-square test, Fisher’s exact test로 분석하였다. 이민자의 건강정보 이용빈도는 낮은 편으로 월 1회 미만으로 건강정보를 이용한다는 응답자가 가장 많았다. 건강정보 이용빈도는 나이가 많거나, 직업이 없거나, 질병이 있는 대상자에서 더 높았다. 주요한 건강정보 출처는 인터넷이었고, 나이와 인터넷 사용 여부에 따라 건강정보 출처에 차이가 있었다. 나이가 증가하거나 인터넷을 사용하지 않은 응답자의 건강정보 출처로 인터넷 사용 비율이 낮았다. 건강정보의 주요한 활용대상자는 본인이었고, 지각된 건강상태가 건강하지 않은 대상자는 본인을 위하여 건강정보를 더 많이 사용하였다. 본 연구의 결과에서처럼 이민자의 대부분이 건강정보를 활발히 사용하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 나이가 증가하거나 건강하지 못한 경우에는 건강문제를 해결하기 위하여 건강정보 사용이 증가하면서 건강정보의 필요성이 나타났다. 그러므로 이민자의 건강정보 이용 증진과 효과적인 건강정보 제공을 위해서는 대상자의 특성을 고려하여 건강정보를 다양한 방법으로 제공하는 것이 중요하고, 이를 위하여 보건의료의 정책이나 서비스 개발이 필요하다. This study was designed to investigate the health information usage of immigrants. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 171 immigrants. Data was analyzed for descriptive statistics, chi-square test, and Fisher"s exact test. The frequency of migrants" use of health information is low, and the number of respondents who use health information less than once a month is highest. There were statistically significant differences in the frequency of use of health information according to age, occupation, and those who contracted diseases. The main source of health information was the Internet, and there were differences in the sources of health information according to age and whether the Internet was used. Most of the respondents used health information for themselves, and there was a difference in the targets of using health information according having a cohabitee and the perceived health status. It was found that the majority of immigrants do not actively use health information. However, when the age increased or the immigrant was unhealthy, the use of health information increased to solve health problems. Therefore, it is important to provide health information in a variety of ways according to the characteristics of immigrants.
혼합현실 기반 중증외상 처치 시뮬레이션 교육 요구 조사: 군병원 간호사 대상 포커스 그룹 인터뷰 적용

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the educational needs of a severe trauma treatment simulation program based on mixed reality which combines element of both virtual reality and augmented reality. Methods: Focus group interviews were conducted with ten military hospital nurses on February 4 and 5, 2021. The collected data were analyzed using a qualitative content analysis. As a framework for data analysis, the educational needs were clustered into the following four categories: teaching contents, teaching methods, teaching evaluation, and teaching environment. Results: The educational needs for each category that emerged were as follows: three subcategories including “realistic education reflecting actual clinical practice” and “motivating education” for teaching contents; five subcategories including “team-based education,” “repeated education that acts as embodied learning,” and “stepwise education” for teaching methods; six subcategories including “debriefing through video conferences,” “team evaluation and evaluator in charge of the team,” “combination of knowledge and practice evaluation” for teaching evaluation; six subcategories including “securing safety,” “similar settings to real clinical environments,” “securing of convenience and accessibility for learners,” and “operating as continuing education” for teaching environment. Conclusion: The findings of this study can provide a guide for the development and operation of a severe trauma treatment simulation program based on mixed reality. Moreover, it suggests that research to identify the educational needs of various learners should be conducted.
일반간호사의 간호정보역량 이해 및 향상 전략: 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 중심으로

Purpose: This study is a content analysis to understand the nursing informatics competence of clinical nurses. Methods: Focus group interviews were used to collect data. Two focus group interviews were held with a total of nine clinical nurses. All interviews were recorded and transcribed. Content analysis was used to analyze data. Results: The five main categories of nursing informatics competence that emerged are 1) software program use, 2) use of nursing information, 3) use of information communication technology in nursing, 4) professional responsibilities and ethics, and 5) active attitudes and recognition. Next, there are three strategies to improve nursing informatics competence: 1) organizational approach, 2) opportunity of continuous education, 3) presentation of standards in nursing informatics competence. Conclusion: Further studies such as educational program development and evaluation tool development are necessary. Moreover, there is a need to enhance clinical nurses nursing informatics competence by using the proposed strategies.

In this study, we examined the use of cosmetics among adolescents in our country and their purchasing behavior, as the use of cosmetics has increasingly been prevailing in the younger generation. The aims of this study were to investigate the state of the youth cosmetics market, to grasp the needs of youth and ultimately to suggest the right directions for the youth cosmetics market. The subjects in this study were 1,092 boys and girls from 10 selected secondary schools in Seoul. After a survey was conducted, the answer sheets from 1,074 respondents were gathered, and the collected data were analyzed by the statistical package (SPSS WIN 18.0). The vast majority of the teens participated in the survey were answered to use basic cosmetics daily, and there was a gradual increase in the frequency that they used color cosmetics. They started to use cosmetics earlier in ages than the older generations. Most of them were in trouble due to acne, and the most dominant way to get rid of their skin troubles was by using cosmetics. The most common place at which they purchased cosmetics were brand shops, and they gave priority to the function of the products when they bought cosmetics. The adolescents were still told by their schools to abstain from using cosmetics, and that was the case for social climate as well. Yet they definitely wanted to be allowed to use cosmetics.

Purpose: This study presents the current status of transcultural nursing education in nursing baccalaureate programs. Methods: The nursing curricula from 185 out of 194 nursing colleges that received accreditation were collected and analyzed. Results: 109 (58.9%) nursing colleges offered 117 transcultural nursing-related courses. The courses were offered as elective (68.4%) as well as major (78.6%) courses. All courses were offered as a theoretical delivery class without any field experiences. The courses were offered mainly for sophomore (41.9%) and freshman students (33.3%), and most of them (79.5%) were two-credit courses. Instead of the term “transcultural nursing,” “multicultural nursing” is mostly used in the title of courses. An inconsistency between the title of courses and their content was found. After analyzing the title of courses based on four nursing meta-paradigms, courses related to the environment were most common (41.9%). Conclusion: Transcultural nursing education has developed during the last decade. However, teaching methods and course content have not developed enough. Thus, a greater effort is needed to increase awareness of the importance of transcultural nursing education and to develop courses for it.
간호정보역량이 간호업무수행능력에 미치는 효과: 환자안전역량의 매개효과

본 연구는 간호정보역량과 간호업무수행능력 간의 관계를 확인하고, 환자안전역량의 매개효과를 규명하는 것이다. 자료수집은 2022년 8월 11일부터 20일까지 진행되었으며, 연구참여자는 종합병원 간호사 114명이었다. 자료분석은 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson 상관분석을 하였고, 매개효과를 분석하기 위해 3단계 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 매개효과의 통계적 유의성을 검증하기 위해 SPSS process MACRO를 이용한 부트스트래핑 검정을 실시하였다. 간호정보역량과 간호업무수행능력의 관계에서 환자안전역량은 완전 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다(β=.62, p <.001). 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 간호업무수행능력 향상을 위한 중재 계획 시 환자안전역량을 같이 높일 수 있는 간호정보역량 함양을 위한 교육프로그램 개발을 제안한다. This study was undertaken to confirm the relationship between nursing informatics competence and nursing work performance and to clarify the mediating effect of patient safety competence. Data collection was conducted from August 11th to 20th, 2022; participants were 114 nurses in general hospitals. The analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis. The mediating effects were investigated by Hierarchical regression analysis using the three-step method, and a bootstrapping test was conducted using SPSS MACRO to determine the statistical significance of mediating effects. Patient safety competence was found to mediate the relationship between nursing informatics competence and work performance (β=.62, p <.001). The results of this study show an educational program is required to improve nursing informatics competence that can simultaneously increase patient safety competence.
