In this paper, we develop a performance-oriented knowledge management methodology to evaluate and eventually improve the contribution of knowledge to business performance In order to find the causal linkage between knowledge and performance, we utilize product and process concepts as intermediaries and then construct a knowledge-intensive production function Through the analysis of the production function, we estimate the marginal contribution of knowledge to performance and derive the managerial implications for the effective knowledge management activities.

In response to drastic environmental changes, companies have been continuously rebalancing their resources and capabilities to sustain their competitive status or to survive difficult times. The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of sudden environmental changes on the competitive status of a firm and to identify the internal factors that differentiate sustainer and non-sustainer groups. To achieve this goal, we selected 85 representative IT and non-IT companies from the S&P 500 companies and investigated them with respect to the change in their five-year competitive status since the 2008 global financial crisis. As a concrete performance measure, the concept of perceived competitive status (PCS) was introduced, and four distinct PCS categories were identified by using the stock price changes during the selected period. The four distinct PCS categories are “sustaining,” “drifting,” “deep sunken,” and “bouncing back.” Discriminant analysis was performed on these four distinct PCS categories. The empirical study conducted showed that revenue and cost efficiency are the most discriminating factors, especially in the economic recovery period. In particular, stronger financial liquidity was observed in high-performing “bouncing back” companies than in the other category companies.
B2C 클라우드 서비스 채택의도의 영향요인에 관한 연구

The recent proliferation of various smart devices like the smartphone, tablet PC, and smart TV enables consumers to download various applications from the network and to access private files stored in their desktop server at any time and at any place. The trend of ubiquitous access seems to have become stronger and more diversified toward a ubiquitous network computing environment with the aggressive deployment of commercial cloud services. Recently, many Korean network service providers launched commercial B2C public cloud services, which were widely adopted by smart device users. They include Daum cloud, N drive, ucloud, and uplus box, mostly provided by major Korean telecom companies and portals. This paper aims to explore consumers’ adoption behaviors toward the B2C public cloud services that were recently deployed in the Korean market. In order to achieve the goal, we identified key influencing factors that affect the consumers’ adoption behaviors, based on an extension of the technology acceptance model (TAM). Several hundred smart device users were surveyed to test the generic regression model with the extended set of TAM variables.
델파이 기법을 이용한 클라우드 서비스의 개념 정의와 활성화 요인 분석

Recently, as the clouding computing begins to receive a great attention from people all over the world, it became the most popular buzz word in recent IT magazines or journal and heard it in many different services or different fields. However, a notion of the cloud service is defined vaguely compared to increasing attentions from others. Generally the cloud service could be understood as a specific service model base on the clouding computing, but the cloud, the cloud computing, the cloud computing service and cloud service, these four all terms are often used without any distinction of its notions and characteristics so that it’s difficult to define the exact nature of the cloud service. To explore and analyze the cloud service systematically, an accurate conception and scope have to be preceded. Therefore this study is to firstly clarify its definition by Delpi method using expert group and then tries to provide the foundation needed to enable relative research such as establishing business model or value chain and policies for its activation to set off. For the Delpi, 16 experts participated in several surveys from different fields such industry, academy and research sector. As a result of the research, Characteristics of the Cloud Service are followings:Pay per use, Scalability, Internet centric Virtualization. And the scope as defined including Grid Computing, Utility Computing, Server Based Computing, Network Computing.
전문가 집단을 통한 클라우드 서비스의 개념과 특성 정의

최근 클라우드 컴퓨팅이 관심 받기 시작하면서 IT관련 소식지뿐만 아니라 다양한 서비스에서도 클라우드라는 말을 흔하게 접할 수 있게 되었다. 하지만, 이러한 클라우드 서비스 관심의 증대에 반해 그 의미가 무분별 하고 모호하게 사용되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 전문가 집단을 통하여 클라우드 서비스에 대한 개념을 명확히 하고 특성을 파악함으로써, 앞으로 이루어질 클라우드 서비스 연구에 필요한 기초를 다지고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 산업게, 학계, 연구계의 전문가 16명이 조사에 참여하였으며, 1차 개방형 설문지를 통해 자유로운 의견을 수집하고, 2차 정량적 질문을 통하여 의견을 수렴하였다. 본 조사를 통하여 3가지의 연구 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 클라우드 서비스의 특성을 통해 클라우드 서비스의 개념 정의을 새롭게 정의하였다. 둘째, 클라우드 서비스과 유사 단어 또는 다른 컴퓨팅과의 관계를 분석하였다. 셋째, 클라우드 서비스 도입시 성공요인을 도출하고 중요도를 분석하였다.

사업자에 따라 클라우드 컴퓨팅을 바라보는 관점이 다르고 비즈니스 특성이 달라 신규사업 참여자가 클라우드 컴퓨팅 산업을 이해하고 서비스와 기술을 개발하는데 어려움이 있다. 국내에서는 대기업이 활발하게 클라우드 시장에 진출하고 있지만 아직까지는 클라우드 서비스 비즈니스 모델에 대한 연구가 미흡하여 다양하고 혁신적인 서비스들이 제공 되지 못하고 있다. 본 연구는 기업이 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경을 이해하고 새로운 사업전략을 세우는데 도움을 줄 수 있는 비즈니스 모델 설계를 위한 프레임워크를 제공한다. 새롭게 등장하는 주요 서비스의 형상 변화 및 마켓의 변화 등의 진화과정을 분석하여 분석결과에 따라 요구되는 솔루션을 구현할 수 있는 서비스를 디자인하기 위해 프레임워크의 접근 방법을 사용한다.
디지털 혁신 프로세스에 관한 실증연구: 서울교통공사 직원을 대상으로

Each enterprise and public organizations is initiating its preparation to push the envelope on establishing digital transformation strategy; originally, companies and organizations had mainly put an emphasis on efficient operating control while today they also highlight a take-off to a new business model. However, it is evident that there is a lack of study on what kind of preparation and process they should go through. The purpose of this study is to analyze its factors academically and verify them in the frame of C. Wheeler’s, “NEBIC: A Dynamic Capabilities Theory for Assessing Net-Enablement.”. Some processes to verify are developed in the combination of the expectancy theory as well as the contingency theory so called. There are several hypotheses examined in this study. First, future technical knowledge gives influence on recognizing business opportunities, and recognizing business opportunities influences innovation practice. Second, expectation for innovation performance on digital transformation brings about will for innovation, and this arouses innovation practice. Third, the employee’s recognition of the top management’s on promoting innovation about digital transformation acts as a moderating variable on each step to lead innovation performance. This study carries a crucial meaning for each corporation in terms of preparation for digital transformation, and implications on a new direction for the future.
