        댐유역 하천생태계평가를 통한 생태보전우선지역설정 -용담다목적댐 유역을 사례로-

        본 연구의 목적은 댐 유역 하천코리도 생태경관 구역의 설정과 하천생태계평가를 통해서 생태적 가치가 높은 보전지역을 설정하는데 있다. 본 연구는 2008년에서 2009년까지 수행된 "용담 다목적 댐 및 저수지 주변지역 생태조사"의 일환으로 수행된 연구결과에 기초하였다. 연구대상지역인 용담호는 그 유역면적이 $930km^2$로서 진안, 장수, 무주에 걸쳐 있으며, 주요 유입하천에는 주자천, 정자천, 진안천, 구량천 등이 있다. 이 댐 호는 상수원으로 이용되고 있으나, 유역 내 골프장, 체육공원 등의 난개발이 발생하여 수질오염 및 생태계 훼손이 우려되는 지역이다. 하천코리도의 경관단위구역은 조사 및 도면 정밀도 등을 고려하여 250mm, 500mm, 750mm의 3단계 세부구역으로 구분하였다. 하천생태계 평가는 하천환경평가와 코리도권 식생환경평가의 2가지로 구분하였다. 하천환경평가에서는 어류 및 저서 생물의 종다양성과 고유화 빈도, 하천환경의 자연도 평가를 수행하였다. 식생환경평가에는 임상도, 식생보전등급, 조류 및 포유류의 종다양성과 법정 보호종의 유무 등에 대해서 평가하였다. 각각의 생태공간정보를 그 중요도에 따라 3등급화하였고, 최종적으로 이를 중첩하여 보전우선가치가 높은 지역을 설정하였다. 법정 보호종 출현지점은 절대보전지역으로 설정하였다. 본 연구는 자연환경지역의 보전가치를 평가하는 댐 유역 하천생태계 평가방법을 제시하여, 개별적 생태조사의 결과를 통합할 수 있는 틀을 제시하였다는데 의의가 있다. 야생동물의 행동권과 계절별 서식환경, 생물종 간 관계 등에 대한 연구와 이를 바탕으로 한 에코톱과의 관련성에 관한 연구가 진행되어야 할 것으로 판단한다. The purpose of this study is to specify the prior eco-preserve zone by establishing the eco-landscape unit on the stream corridor and evaluating the stream ecosystem in the dam basin. The fundamental ecological data was surveyed and collected through "the ecosystem project on Yongdam multipurpose dam watershed" from 2008 to 2009. The Yongdam Dam Watershed has several streams, Jujacheon, Jeongjacheon and Guryangcheon, of which the area is $930km^2$, stretching to Jinangun, Jangsugun and Mujugun Jellabukdo. In spite of being used for drinking purpose, the dam water quality and ecosystem is threatened by in-watershed pollution produced by development, golf course grounds and sports complex, etc. The landscape unit of stream corridor was zoned across by 250m, 500m, and 750m from the vicinity line of stream, which was decided to the accuracy of mapping and surveying. Types of evaluation are the Stream Corridor Evaluation(SCE) and the Vegetated Area Evaluation(VAE). In the process of SCE, several indices were analysed, fish species diversity, species peculiarity, and stream naturality. Indices for VAE were forest stand map, vegetation protection grade, species diversity and peculiarity for wild bird and mammal life. The importance of the ecological items is categorized into three levels and overlapped for specifying the prior preserve zone. The area at which legally protecting species appeared is categorized as absolute preserve area. This study might be meaningful for proposing the evaluation process of a stream corridor ecosystem, which can synthesize a lot of individual ecological surveys. We hope further research will be actively performed about the ecotope mapping which is based on a individual wildlife territory and habitats and also their relationships.

        야채수프의 CT26 암세포에 대한 항암 및 면역 증강 효과

        Vegetable soup has been reported to have anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidative and anti-cancer effects. In this study, five kinds of vegetable soup were developed using a new manufacturing process and compositional changes in raw material, and anti-cancer and immuno-stimulatory activities were evaluated. Cytotoxicity tests based on MTT assay revealed that all vegetable soups had strong inhibitory effects against CT26 mouse colon cancer cells, with soups including Solomon's seal being most effective based on comparison of $IC_{50}$ values. Apoptosis in response to vegetable soup was occurred by 3-5 fold on cancer cells compared to normal cells. Mouse splenocytes increased by 266-541% in response to addition of vegetable soup in an in vitro proliferation experiment. In co-culture with splenocytes and CT26 cancer cells, splenocytes increased by more than 280% in every vegetable soup treatment, while cancer cells decreased by about 60% and cytokines such as $IFN- {\gamma}$ and IL-12 were secreted from splenocytes in high levels only in response to vegetable soup including Solomon's seal. In conclusion, all vegetable soups developed in this study had anti-cancer effects, and vegetable soup including Solomon's seal showed the strongest anti-cancer and immuno-stimulatory effects. These results suggest that functionality of vegetable soup could be increased by changes in manufacturing processes and raw materials composition.

        This paper describes the implementation of control and monitoring system of ship's lamps at local area using power line communication method, power line modem(PLM). We design modem, microprocessor interface for electric power control by frequency control and analog to digital signal conversion, lamp device. PLM communication is very economical using existing electric power line unlike RS-232, RS-485 communications. We verify and confirm by experimental work that control and monitor lamp system for ship by an PLM communication.

        운문산반딧불이(Luciola unmunsana)의 서식지 특성과 먹이원에 관한 연구 - 전주시 산성천을 대상으로 -

        This study aims to present primary data for habitat restoration and artificial breeding conditions of L. unmunsana by identifying the habitat conditions and the larvae's food sources. In order to investigate the habitat characteristics of the adult L. unmunsana and land snails, which are the primary food sources for the larvae, field surveys were conducted on a total of 10 habitats in south-central parts of Korea including Sanseongcheon, Jeonju. The results revealed that the L. unmunsana habitat in the Sanseongcheon area had a broadleaf forest with a multi-layered vegetation structure, adjacent water features, and the north/northeast/northwest slopes with little effect of artificial lighting. The adult L. unmunsana in the Sanseongcheon area appeared from the end of May to the end of June, and was especially intensively observed around the middle of June. The most active time was from 23:30 to 00:30 with a temperature range of 19~22℃ and higher than 80% humidity. The peak count of the observed adults L. unmunsana was a total of 774 on June 11, 2021. In the case of land snails, 11 families and 23 species were observed in 10 habitats of L. unmunsana, and Euphaedusa fusaniana was the most extensive and the most observed in the five survey areas. The land snails of L. unmunsana habitats are mostly found under the organic layers of leaves and a fallen tree branch in broadleaf forests, where a thick organic material layer buffers temperature changes and provides high humidity for various snails. These habitat conditions are suitable for the larva of L. unmunsana and land snails to inhabit, feed, hide and hibernate.

        서해안 굴, Crassostrea gigas의 건강도 평가를 위한 Condition index와 혈구 apoptosis 분석

        A significant production decrease has been witnessed for the Pacific oysters, Crassostrea gigas farmed in the western coastal waters of Korea, presumably by the loss of physiological viability. We evaluated the viability in terms of health indicators, the condition indices and hemocyte apoptosis rates of the oysters inhabiting two representative farming sites, Incheon and Taean each with different environmental variables. In our monthly measurements for the whole year 2013, the indicators were location specific. The condition indices of Incheon were highly variable, 1.67-8.58%, while those of Taean were less, 2.28-5.57%. The condition indices decreased during the spawning seasons, July and September in common. The two oysters exhibited also differed in the apoptotic activities of hemocyte, highly active, 4.03-30.15% for Incheon oysters and less active, 2.87-17.48% for Taean oysters. One thing we could identify was the two measurements were adverse during the critical seasons of spawning, reminiscent of being a useful tool for a health indicator for the oysters. Similar trend was also observed in the time when change in temperature was extreme. The findings in this study are highly indicative of health indicators for the oyster aquaculture.

        냉장보관된 농축 먹이생물의 지방산 조성 변화와 농축먹이로 사육한 굴 유생의 생존율

        패류 인공종묘 생산시에 먹이생물을 효율적으로 원활하게 공급하기 위한 일환으로 비종묘생산시기에 미리 생산하여 사용 가능한지 여부를 판단하기 위하여 패류 사육에 가장 일반적으로 사용되며 먹이효율도 우수한 것으로 알려진 Pavlova lutheli, Isochrysis galbana, Isochrysis aff, galbana Chaetoceros calcitrans를 농축 후, $4^{\circ}C$에서 보관하면서 보관기간에 따른 먹이생물의 생존율과 이들 먹이의 굴 유생에 대한 사육 효과를 생먹이와 비교하였으며 이들의 총지질 중 지방산 조성도 분석하였다. $4^{\circ}C$에서 30일간 냉장보관한 먹이생물의 생존율은 $23\~31\%$였다. 굴 유생에 4종 먹이생물을 생먹이와 농축먹이 형태로 공급하여 사육한 결과, 참굴 유생의 생존율은 농축먹이 공급구가 다소간 높았으며, 특히 농축한 I. aff. galbans를 공급한 실험구가 유생의 생존율이 가장 높았다. 먹이생물은 냉장보관 후 구성 지방산 중 EPA와 DHA가 유의적으로 증가하였고, 특히 I. aff. galbana는 냉장보관 후 조사한 먹이생물 중 DHA의 비율이 가장 높았다. 따라서 패류 유생 사육시 DHA는 먹이가치의 중요한 요인이므로 먹이생물을 농축 냉장 보관하여 공급함으로써 굴 유생의 생존율을 향상시킬 수 있는 것으로 조사되었고 특히 I. aff, galbana를 냉장보관하여 굴 유생에 공급하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 여겨진다. Cold storage of concentrated food phytoplanktons is a useful technique in supplying food organisms for artificial shellfish seed. One month after preservation at $4^{\circ}C$, we have measured survival rate of the concentrated food phytoplanktons, Pavlova lutheli, Isochrysis galbana, Isochrysis aff, galbana and Chaetoceros calcitrans. Thereafter we determined survival rate of oyster lavae fed fresh and concentrated diets and fatty acid compositions of the fresh and concentrated food phytoplanktons. Survival rate of concentrated planktons ranged from $23\%$ to $31\%$ after one month at $4^{\circ}C$. The survival rate of oyster larvae fed cold stored food appeared generally higher than those fed fresh harvested food. Especially, the highest survival rate were found in the larvae fed cold stored concentrated I. aff. galbana. EPA and DHA increased after cold storage and the highest level of DHA was detected in I. aff. galbana. As DHA can role as an important factor in determing nutritional value, it would be better to use concentrated I aff, gaibana kept in cold refrigerator for oyster seed production.

        동결건조한 Isochrysis aff, galbana를 이용한 굴 유생사육에 관한 연구

        패류 인공종묘생산시 양질의 먹이를 원활하게 공급하기 위하여 장기간 보관이 가능한 건조먹이를 생산하여, 굴 유생을 대상으로 이용 가능성을 조사하였다. 이를 위하여 건조먹이의 생화학성분과 지방산 조성을 분석한 결과, 생화학성분 조성은 생먹이 및 농축먹이와 차이가 없었다. 지방산 조성은 건조먹이가 생먹이보다 PUFA DHA 및 EPA의 비율이 높았으며 (p<0.05) 특히 EPA는 생먹이보다 7.35배 높았다. 농축먹이에 건조먹이를 비율별로 혼합하여 굴 유생을 15일간 사육한 후 유생의 생존율과 지질 함량을 분석한 결과, 건조먹이를 $30\%$까지 혼합하여 사용하여도 생먹이만을 공급한 것보다 굴 유생의 생존율이 향상되었으며, 그중 건조먹이를 $10\%$ 혼합하여 사육하면 생먹이만으로 사육한 것보다 생존율이 2.1배 향상되었다(p<0.05) 15일째 굴 유생의 지질 함량은 건조먹이를 $10\%$ 혼합하여 사육한 경우 생먹이만을 공급한 것보다 약 1.6배 높았다. 따라서 패류의 종묘를 생산하지 않는 시기에 먹이생물을 배양하여 건조먹이 형태로 보관하여 두었다가, 농축먹이와 혼합하여 사용한다면, 보다 간편하게 먹이를 공급할 수도 있으며 아울러 유생의 생존율도 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. To investigate an efficient microalgal feed for lariat culture of the Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas, we prepared three types of Isochrysis aff, galbana (T-iso) : 1) freshly Harvested feed, 2) concentrated feed and 3) freeze-dried feed. The chemical compositions and fatty acid content of these feeds were evaluated and survival rate and lipid content of oyster larvae fed by these feeds were also determined. There was no significant difference in all types of feed in the gross biochemical compositions, In the fatty acid composition, the freeze-dried feed showed a significant increase in the level of polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) than freshly Harvested feed, especially EPA was 7.35-fold higher than freshly Harvested feed. The survival rate of the oyster larvae was the highest when the larvae were fed with a diet of $10\%$ freeze-dried and $90\%$ concentrated feed; it was 2.1-fold higher than that fed with freshly Harvested food alone. Thereafter, the survival rate decreased with the increased substitutions of freeze-dried food, finally equalling that fed $100\%$ freshly harvested feed at the $30\%$ substitution. Larval lipid content of the oyster was also the highest when the larvae were fed with a diet of $10\%$ freeze-dried and $90\%$ concentrated feed. This increase was by 1.6-fold ver that fed $100\%$ freshly Harvested cells. Thus feed produced during slack times, on a seedling aquaculture farm, and preparedas a freeze-dried diet can be used, mixed with concentrated feed, to supply diets more efficiently and to improve the larvae survival rate of Pacific oyster.
