This paper presents a framework design of a digital twin system for a vertical smart farm. In this paper, a framework of digital twin systems establishes the three factors: 1) Client 2) IoT gateway, and 3) Server. Especially, IoT gateway has developed using the Eclipse Ditto, which has commonly used to the standard open hardware platform for digital twin. In particular, each factor is communicating with the client, IoT gateway, and server by defining the message sequence such as initialization and data transmission. The proposed design has been tested in a testbed of the lab-scale tomato greenhouse.

Various personalized services are provided based on user context these days, and IoT(Internet of Things) devices provides effective ways to collect user context. For example, user's activity such as walking steps, calories, and sleeping hours can be collected using smart activity tracker. Smart scale can sense change of user's weight or body fat percentage. However, these services are independent to each other and not easy to make them collaborate. Many standard bodies are working on the documents for this issue, but due to diversity of IoT use case scenarios, it seems that multiple IoT technologies co-exist for the time being. This paper propose a framework to collaborate heterogeneous IoT services. The proposed framework provides methods to build application for heterogeneous IoT devices and user context management in more intuitive way using HTTP. To improve compatibility and usability, gathered user contexts are based on MPEG-UD. Implementation of framework and service with real-world devices are also presented.

In this paper, we describe the digital twin technology trend and major platform. The proposed design has been tested in a testbed of the lab-scale vertical smart-farm. The sensor data is received from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2020. In this paper, a prototype digital twin system that collects environment and control data through a raspberry pi in a plant factory and visualizes it in a virtual environment was developed.

Conventional home audio system (e.g. AV Receiver, CD Player etc) has a various functionality of audio play, channel mixing, but the remote controller of these audio players is too complex, difficult for user to manage them effectively. Users want to use these functionalities with more easy, comprehensible way. In this study, "intelligent real-sound presentation technology" that support high quality, realistic audio and the "design of complex information and controller of real sound using intelligent real sound play and control interface" will be introduced. So user can actively, realistically enjoy and play real sound based on user's preference, emotion and circumstance, instead of user's passive service.

The 'Anytime, Anywhere' services have been the biggest topic in the recent digital broadcasting research area. The related applications for the Anytime and Anywhere Services are as follows: the personalized broadcasting based on the PVR (Personal Video Recorder) for the Anytime Services, and the DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting), the mobile devices supporting the wireless network and the Second TV and so on for the anywhere services. The personalized broadcasting has been researched on the one of the killer applications in the various broadcasting environment - the ground wave broadcasting, the satellite broadcasting, IPTV and CATV broadcasting suchlike. The applied contents of the personalized broadcasting have advanced from the main contents for the broadcasting to the interstitial contents like advertisements and coupons, the personalized interstitial broadcasting needs to develop the technology about the generation, storing and management of the interstitial metadata. but, the personalized broadcasting has the limitation that the TV environment is somewhat difficult to support the personalized broadcasting individually, because all family usually share the main TV at home. The Second TV is possible to solve the environmental limitation. This paper designs and develops the static set top box at home, the Second TV and their multimedia streaming techniques for the personalized broadcasting of the contents including the interstitial contents.

Interest in companion screen services and high-definition television broadcasting services are rising along with the advanced of digital broadcasting communication technology. Not only providing good-quality broadcasting services in the main screen, but also creating added values of companion services in the secondary screen are important. In this paper we suggest a platform and a related authoring tool generating adaptive companion screen services according to user contexts. The Platform providing adaptive companion screen services based on user environment is designed and implemented for real service market. Proposed platform organizes a higher quality content service considering both user contexts and demands of service providers in real time, and the related authoring tool enables a novice user interface designer and service director to make adaptive user interfaces quickly and easily. We developed and simulated this platform in accordance with Korean UHD IBB standard which provides interactive service applications.

초고속 인터넷 망이 보급되고 디지털 방송 서비스가 본격화됨에 따라 디지털 콘텐츠가 기하급수적으로 증가하였고, 댁내에서 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 공유/재생할 수 있는 기기들이 다양화 되어지고, 스마트폰과 같은 개인용 모바일 기기의 사용이 보편화 되어짐에 따라 사용자는 멀티미디어 콘텐츠를 시청할 때 다양한 시청 환경 조건에 놓이게 되었다. 하지만, 사용자에게 제공되어지는 어플리케이션은 단말 및 특정 시청환경에 종속된 형태로 개발되어 지고 있고, 사용자의 단말 및 시청환경에 따라 서로 다른 수많은 어플리케이션이 개발되고 있다. 따라서, 사용자의 시청 환경을 고려하여 서로 다른 성능(Device Capability)을 가지는 기기들에 최적화된 사용자 인터페이스와 응용 프로그램을 제공하기 위한 홈 네트워크상에서의 상황인지형 스케일러블 데이터 서비스 기술 개발이 요구되어지고 있다. 이에, 본 논문에서는 하나의 어플리케이션 인터페이스를 통하여 수시로 변화하는 시청환경에 따라 사용자에게 최적의 어플리케이션을 제공할 수 있는 서비스 방법을 제안한다.
