This purpose of this study is to develop the index by which as an instructor and a student, the professor and the learner in university could check for their courses for themselves. The index could help to resolve currently used system of course evaluation and lead the professor and the learner both to check their courses on their own. In this study 36 universities home and abroad were involved in the analysis of their course evaluation to prepare a preliminary tool of self-check index of course accreditation, while 227 of professors and 227 students from C national university were investigated to develop the items. As a result, in the field of instruction, 28 items, learning, 14 items were developed. The developed index is considered good (3 points), which is considered desirable for class. The index developed in this study could be used as a instructional observation index by which the instructor and the learner could inter-cooperate to reach a higher point during the period of self-check as a process of course accreditation. 본 논문은 대학에서 현행 강의평가제도의 문제점을 보완하고 수업에서 교수자와 학습자의 자발적인 수업점검과 개선을 지원하기 위해 대학 수업 자체점검지표를 개발하고자 하였다. 이 연구에서는 국내외 36개 대학의 강의평가 문항을 분석하여 대학 수업인증 자체점검지표의 예비도구를 마련하였고, 국립 C대학의 교수자 227명과 학생 7,476명을 대상으로 문항 개발을 위한 설문조사를 실시하여 자체점검지표안을 개발하였다. 연구의 결과, 가르침 영역에는 28문항, 배움 영역에는 14문항의 대학 수업인증용 자체점검지표가 개발되었다. 개발된 수업인증 자체점검지표의 문항은 적절한 기준(3점 이상)에 의하여 추출되었으며, 수업에서 바람직한 수준으로 문항의 수준을 설정하였다. 이러한 결과는 수업인증 과정의 하나인 자체점검기간 중 교수자와 학습자가 우수한 수준에 도달하기 위해 상호 협력하고 준비하는 단계의 수업관찰지표로서 사용될 수 있다.
A Study of Singapore Music Teacher Training System

The purpose of this study was to explore the characteristics of Singapore's music teacher training process. The research method was to investigate and analyze the information regarding this topic mainly through the web sites of Singapore Ministry of Education, National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University and Ats Institutes in Singapore. The results of the study are: 1) Singapore has three tracks of music teacher training courses(diploma, bachelor degree, postgraduate degree in education) so that diverse academic backgrounds could approach; 2) high level of academic standards and competencies(English proficiency, music audition etc.) are demanding; 3) various music education subjects related with ICT, world music, popular music are required; 4) during the practicum period, professors and teachers closely supervise a student teacher for 15 weeks in average; 5) payment of a tuition fee by the Ministry of Education results a 3 year teaching bond.

The masters program of the elementary music education in the national university of education has opened since 1995 in Korea. Only 3 national universities of education are offering this masters program and 4 more universities are to follow. Because this program is just at the beginning level, it is the time to present the idealistic elementary music education curriculum for the masters degree. The process of the development of the curriculum had 3 steps: first step was to compare all 7 masters programs of elementary music education; second step was to compare 4 American elementary music education curricula for the masters degree; third step was to draw the common elements from the comparison of the elementary music education curriculum between Korean and American. The results of the analysis are: 1) both curricula from two countries have 4 common courses of music education such as elementary music education, foundations of music education, research in music education, principles of music education or psychology of music education; 2) both curricula offer music performance, ensemble, music history or music theory. Thus, these courses are included into the idealistic elementary music education curriculum for master degree along with the Korean music education.
감염 근관에서 분리한 세균 배양액이 배양된 세포에 미치는 영향

Microorganisms and their by-products are considered to be the major causes of pulpal and periapical pathosis. The role of microorganisms in endodotic infection has been studied regarding the prevalence of particular organisms found in root canal and periapical lesions. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of culture supernatants of several oral microorganims isolated from infected root canals on the viability of cultured cell lines using colorimetirc assay. S. simulans, S. sciuri, E. faecium, S. intermedius, S. mitis, S. sanguis and S. uberis were incubated in Todd-Hewitt broth for 16 hours. 20 and 100ul of filtered bacterial cell culture supernatants were added to MK and Hep-2 cells. Cell viability was measured using MTT colorimetric assay. 20ul and 100ul of S. sanguis supernatant showed significant cytotoxicity cmpared to control on MK cells. 100ul of S. sanguis supernatant significantly depressed viability of HEp-2 cells. E. faecium and S. intermedius did not affect the viability of MK and HEp-2 cells.
