Modem diesel vehicle has to comply with the EURO III, IV regulation with very low level of particulate and smoke emission. But diesel engine design technologies are inferior to gasoline engine. Recently, much attention have been focused on diesel exhaust aftertreatment system development. The reducing technologies of exhaust emission for diesel engine classified as common rail, EGR, fuel quality improvement, and development of diesel exhaust aftertreatment. The diesel exhaust aftertreatment technology is considered as the alternative technology in the near future. The diesel exhaust aftertreatment system has been advanced for reducing particulates and emission because it has simple in device structure, relatively low cost and easy to install the vehicle.<br/> In this study it was carried out conversion efficiency test for fresh and aged catalyst. Also it was evaluated the characteristics of exhaust gas and particulate matter emitted from catalyst according to the aging time then particulate matter reduce efficiency due to heat of oxidation reaction at diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC)<br/>

In this study, evaporation heat transfer experiments were performed in 12.7㎜ micro-fin tube using natural refrigerants. The test rig had a straight, horizontal test section and refrigerant was heated by water through an annulus surrounding test section. Evaporation heat transfer coefficient was increased with increasing quality, refrigerant mass flux. The local and average evaporation heat transfer coefficients in micro-fin tube were compared to those a bare tube. The local evaporation coefficients of R-22 and natural refrigerants for the micro-fin tube were 131% and 96~124% higher than bare tube. EF(enhancement factor) is defined as the ratio of the micro-fin tube heat transfer coefficient to that of a comparable bare tube at a similar mass flux, heat flux, pressure level, and inlet outlet quality. EF of R-22 and natural refrigerants are presented average 2.68 and 2.41 at the all refrigerant mass flux in the experiment range.

Mandibular first premolars obtained from the middle-aged men about the ages of 50 were scanned using a Micro-CT. A Jig was made for a Micro-CT measurement to get reliable data from irregular teeth shape. Data were measured from the scanned 2-D images by way of measurement software. the methodology for measurement of the mandibular first premolar was presented and according to this, the standardized mandibular first premolars of middle aged Korean males and females were made by using a rapid prototyping system.
