This study presents key elements to increase friction lining performance by analyzing friction lining component and experimental result about the effect to increase frictional force of friction lining. Experiments were conducted by evaluating friction coefficient. All the result shows that 1) Key elements of friction lining component ingredient to increase friction coefficient. 2) Melamine resin increase heat-resisting property so the friction coefficient reduction was small at high temperature condition. Moreover, friction lining fade property was improved.
