        총의치 교합면 형태가 하악골 응력 분포에 미치는 영향에 관한 삼차원 유한요소분석적 연구

        Complete denture occlusion must be developed to function efficiently and with the least amount of trauma to the supporting tissues. For the preservation of supporting tissues, it is imperative to reduce to a minimum the functional stress induced by dentures. The magnitude of the horizontal component of functional stress contributed by various occlusal teeth forms has not been studied. This study was aimed to investigate the influence of different occlusal teeth forms on the mode of distribution of the stresses in the mandibular tissue, and the displacement of lower dentures during the variant functional movement of mandible for this study three dimensional finite element analysis was used. FEM models were created using commercial software Super Sap for IBM 32 bit computer. The model was composed of 3380 brick elements and 4346 nodes. The results were as follows. 1. The magnitude of stress was similar between two models in centric occlusion, in the case of anatomic model, the stress was concentrated on the buccal side of alveolar ridge beneath the bicuspids. 2. During the protrusive movement, the increasing of stress from the posterior to anterior part of mandible was seen in the case of anatomic model. 3. During the lateral movement, the stress of anatomic model was greater than that of nonanatomic model. 4. The stress of anatomic model was concentrated on the anterior region of residual ridge during the lateral movement. 5. In the case of anatomic model the anterior part of denture was displaced severely at the centric and lateral position, but the denture of nonanatomic model was displaced minutely at the protrusive and lateral position.

        해외석유개발사업의 문제점 및 정책방향

        International oil price is increasing over $55/bbl and recorded the new highest, $57.52/bbl at NYMEX Oil Forward Market in New York. Since Korea is depending on import all of domestic petroleum consumption, the high oil price has a deep influence on Korean economy and threatens the energy security of Korea. The Korean government released its plan last year that Korean petroleum development companies can produce an equivalent to 10% of it's oil import, so called 'independence ratio of petroleum resources', in 2008 and a large petroleum E&P company will be promoted. Because independence ratio, however, reached 3.8% last year, Korean government has to find new policies to promote the private oil companies, to upbring many technical manpower and to make a new funding method for petroleum E&P business. 최근 국제유가가 고공행진을 지속하고 있어 석유를 전량 수입에 의존하고 있는 우리나라 경제에 큰 어려움으로 작용하고 있다. 우리나라는 에너지원의 주종을 이루고 있는 석유자원의 안정적인 확보 및 에너지 안보를 위하여 해외석유개발사업에 참여하고 있으나, 외환위기 이후 아직 침체에서 벗어나지 못하고 있다. 이에 따라 정부는 자주개발원유 도입율 목표 10%를 2008년까지 조기달성한다는 정책목표를 수립하고, 이를 달성하기 위하여 준메이저급의 석유개발전문회사를 육성한다는 방안을 발표하였다. 그러나 아직 자주개발비율이 3.8%에 불과한 실정에서 목표를 달성하기 위해서는 보다 실질적이고 적극적인 지원책이 강구되어야 할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 석유개발사업의 현황을 파악하고 문제점을 분석하여 자주개발도입율 목표 달성을 위한 정책을 연구하였다. 최근 세계정세의 불안과 고유가의 지속으로 인하여 에너지자원에 대한 중요성이 부각됨에 따라 자연스럽게 우리나라에서도 석유개발사업을 활성화하여야 한다는 인식이 확산되어 가고 있고 이를 위한 방안들이 각계에서 논의되고 대안들이 발표되는 등 일대 변환이 요구되고 있는 시점에서 최우선적으로 선행되어야 할 문제는 투자재원과 전문기술인력의 확보 그리고 민간부문의 참여유도이다.

        캔디다 알비칸스의 구강내 빈도 및 분포도에 관한 연구

        Using imprint cultures and epithelial smears, the density and prevalence of colonization of oral mucosal sites and denture surfaces by Candida albicans has been determined in 28 healthy dentate subjects and 20 denture wearers. With questionnaire, oral and denture examination, the relationship between the carrier rates and several factors; DMFT, oral hygiene index, salivary pH & denture plaque score were studied. But these factors have not significant relationship to the carrier rates. Imprint culture appears to be sensitive technique for detecting candidal carriers and be useful for distinguishing between the healthy carrier state and candidal infection. Cigarette smokers had a significantly increased carrier state (P<0.05) compared with nonsmoker in male dentate subjects. Female were more frequent carriers than male in dentate and denture group, but these differences were not significant. In denture wearers, there was a higher density and frequency of candidal colonization of all mucosal sites sampled, compared with that of healthy dentate group especially anterior palate and posterior palate showed highly significant differences in frequency of candidal colonization (P<0.05). The distribution of Candida albicans is not uniform throughout the mouth. The tongue in the healthy dentate subjects and the impression surfaces of upper dentures are the primary oral reservoirs for the fungus. Overnight wearing of dentures was associated with increased density and frequency of candidal colonization and density.

        We studied the bioavailability of each commercial RMP products (RMP brand A, RMP brand B, RMP brand C). For this study, we adopted raw material drugs of each commercial RMP powder (particle size fraction of RMP was 74-149um). We prepared three sample preparation (RMP solution, RMP capsules, RMP with A vicel capsules) and measured its physicochemical characters (X-ray diffraction spectrurr I and IR spectrum). We also carried out dissolution test by Foamed Plastic Rotating Method and Basket Rotating Method. After oral administration of RMP to volunteer, we. calculated relative bioavailability from the amounts excreted by urine and area under the serum concentration curve (0-8 hrs.). We clarified the correlation between the physicochemical characters, and dissolution rate for each RMP products, and then compared with its bioavailability. The results were as follow. 1. In physicochemical characters, X-ray diffraction spectrum of each RMP at diffraction angle 57.25°, 35.5° and 30° was different in intensity. Moreover IR spectrum of RMP (A) at 1640-1660cm_(-1) and 1700-1760cm_(-1) was different in intensity from RMP (B) and RMP (C). 2. Foamed Plastic Rotating Method, study revealed the most rapid dissolution rate of RMP (C) in each dissolution medium. However we usually observed more rapid dissolution rate in artificial gastric JUIce than artificial intestinal juice. 3. Basket Rotating Method, study revealed the most rapid dissolution rate of RMP (B) in each dissolution medium. Also we observed more rapid dissolution rate III artificial gastric juice than artificial intestinal juice. Otherwise Avicel which added in capsule increased an additive the dissolution rate, particulary RMP (B). 4. Relative systemic availability calculated with excreted amount of RMP in urine was similar in each RMP capsules. In RMP (A) and RMP (B), Avicel which added in capsules appeared increasing tendency in urine excretion of RMP, but in RMP (C) it did not appeared. 5. Area under serum concentration curve (0-8 hrs.) in each RMP capsules was in order of RMP(A)≒RMP(C) > RMP(B). In RMP(B) with Avicel capsules. area under serum concentration curve (0-8 hrs.) increased significantly and in others insignificantly. Therefore, it was suggested that neither dissolution rate nor physicochemical characters correlate with bioavailability of RMP products. Bioavailability of RMP products would be estimated correctly from human studies.
