This paper presents an efficient pre?echo control scheme for MPEG Audio coders based on the psychoacoustic model II (PAM-II). Pre?echo control is the final step for the calculation of masking threshold in the PAM II. It is to minimize the spread of quantization error over the processing frame. In the conventional encoders, pre echo is reduced by restricting the estimated masking threshold not to exceed the one obtained in the previous frame. The conventional method performs pre echo control not only for short blocks but also for long blocks, which lowers the masking threshold in long blocks and, in turn, increases the quantization noise level of corresponding blocks. This paper proposes an efficient pre echo control process. The test result shows a mean enhancement of more than 0.4 especially for complex signals on the ITU R 5 point audio impairment scale.

We report a case of bleeding ileal varices associated with intra-abdominal adhesions after colectomy which was successfully diagnosed using capsule endoscopy. A 77-year-old woman visited the emergency department for several episodes of melena. She had a medical history of neoadjuvant chemo-radiation therapy and subsequent surgery for rectal cancer 6 years previously. Conventional diagnostic examinations including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and abdominal computed tomography could not detect any bleeding focus, however, following capsule endoscopy revealed venous dilatations with some fresh blood in the distal ileum, indicating bleeding ileal varices. The patient underwent exploratory laparotomy and the affected ileum was successfully resected. No further gastrointestinal bleeding occurred during the 6 months follow-up. Small intestinal varices are important differential for obscure gastrointestinal bleeding especially in patients with a history of abdominal surgery in the absence of liver cirrhosis, and capsule endoscopy can be a good option for diagnosing small intestinal varices. 본 연구에서는 순환유동층 보일러 애쉬의 재활용 가능성을 높이기 위한 방법으로, 경량기포콘크리트의 제조시 생석회 및 황산칼슘 성분이 필요하다는 점에 착안하여, 이를 생석회 및 석고의 대체재로 활용하여, 생산원가 절감, 자원재활용, 환경부하 저감 및 고부가가치화 등의 목표를 달성하고자 하였다. 다양한 배합설계를 도출하여 경량기포 콘크리트 물성을 평가하였고, 이를 바탕으로 실제 공장에서 시제품을 생산하여, 경량 기포 콘크리트의 제조에 순환유동층 보일러애쉬의 활용성을 검증하고자 하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 순환유동층 보일러애쉬를 슬러리로 선처리하여 활용하는 방법을 통해 석고를 CFBCA로 대체 가능한 것이 확인되었으며, 이를 통해 경쟁력 있는 경량기포 콘크리트 제품의 생산이 가능함을 보였다. In this study, as a method to increase the recycling of circulating fluidized bed combustion ash(CFBCA), CFBCA was utilized to produce autoclave aerated concrete product since CFBCA contains quicklime and calcium sulfate components that are required for the manufacture of autoclave aerated concrete. Successful achievement of such objective will bring cost reduction with high value addition, saving of natural resources, and the reduction of environmental load. Various mixing designs were designed to evaluate the properties of autoclave aerated concrete made of CFBCA. Based on series of experimental program, prototypes mix design for factory manufacturing was obtained. According to the experimental results, it was confirmed that gypsum can be replaced with CFBCA through the method of pre-treating the CFBCA as a slurry. It was possible to produce competitive autoclave aerated concrete products using CFBCA.
코어 트레이닝이 지적장애 학생의 균형감각기능, 유연성, 요추근기능 및 요통지수에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of core training on equilibrium sensory function, flexibility, lumbar muscle function and visual analogue scale (VAS) in students with intellectual disability. 20 subjects were divided into control (n=10) and exercise (n=10) groups. Exercise group was given to utilizing core training with the period and frequency of 40 minutes, 3 days a week for 12 weeks. Equilibrium sensory function, flexibility, lumbar muscle function and VAS of all subjects were measured at before and after the program participation. Consequently static balance, flexibility, muscle strength, muscular endurance, and VAS were significantly enhanced within exercise group after application of exercise program. In summary, when considering the above results, we conclude that core training may improve the levels of equilibrium sensory function, flexibility, lumbar muscle function and VAS in exercise participants with intellectual disability.
코어 운동이 만성요통 지적장애 축구선수의 요부관련 체력과 요통지수 및 운동수행능력에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of core exercise on lumbar-related physical fitness, visual analogue scale (VAS) and exercise performance (EP) in intellectually disabled soccer players with chronic low back pain (LBP). 10 subjects were divided into control (n=5) and exercise (n=5) groups. Exercise group was given to utilizing core exercise with the period and frequency of 40 minutes, 3 days a week for 12 weeks. Physical fitness, VAS and exercise performance of all subjects were measured at before and after the program participation. Consequently sit and reach, muscle strength, muscular endurance, VAS, and pass were significantly enhanced within exercise group after application of exercise program. In summary, when considering the above results, we conclude that core exercise may improve the levels of flexibility, lumbar muscle function, low back pain and pass among exercise performance in exercise participants with intellectual disability.

본 연구에서는 압전소자의 EMI 신호변화를 이용하여 시멘트계 재료의 응결특성을 평가하였다. 시멘트 페이스트에 매립된 PZT센서의 수화시간에 따른 EMI 신호변화를 비카트침 시험과 간이단열시험을 통한 수화온도곡선과 비교하였다. 실험결과, 시멘트 페이스트가 수화함에 따라 PZT센서의 EMI 공진피크와 공진주파수의 변화가 나타났으며, 이러한 변화시점은 비카트침 시험과 간이단열시험을 통한 수화온도곡선으로부터 획득한 응결시간과 부합하는 것으로 나타났다. The evolution of electro-mechanical impedance (EMI) of the piezoelectricity (PZT) sensor was investigated to determine the setting times of cementitious materials in this study. The PZT sensor coated with non-conductive acrylic resin was embedded in cement paste before casting and the EMI signatures were continuously measured. Vicat needle test and semi-adiabatic calorimetry test were also conducted to justify the validity of EMI senssing technique in setting monitoring of cementitious materials. The results show that significant changes in EMI resonant peak magnitude and frequency during setting process were observed, and that the setting times determined by EMI sensing technique were relevant to the setting times measured by Vicat needle test and semi-adiabatic calorimetry test.
하이브리드 바퀴를 사용한 농업용 전방향 이동로봇의 설계

본 논문에서는 하이브리드 바퀴를 적용한 농업용 전방향 이동 로봇의 설계를 제안한다. 제안된 메커니즘은 특수 형태의 바퀴 구조를 가지며 노지 주행이 가능한 원통형 나사선 바퀴와 정비된 바닥면을 주행하기 위한 가변형 원형 바퀴의 융합된 구조를 가진다. 원통형 나사선 바퀴는 노지 주행이 가능하며 전방향 주행이 가능하도록 설계 하였으며, 가변형 원형 바퀴는 원통형 나사선 바퀴에 매립하여 접고 펼칠 수 있도록 설계하였다. 나사선 바퀴를 제어하기 위해서 DC 모터와 타이밍 벨트를 활용하였으며, 가변형 원형 바퀴의 구동기는 나사선바퀴 중앙에 위치해 있으며 접힘과 펼침 기능을 제어한다. 제안하는 구동 메커니즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 프로토 타입의 이동 로봇을 제작하였으며, 테스트 베드 에서 실험결과 노지 및 평지 주행이 가능함을 확인하였다. In this paper, we propose a design of an omnidirectional mobile robot for agriculture using hybrid wheels. The proposed mechanism has a special type of wheel structure. In addition, it has a fused structure of a cylindrical screw-wheel(CSW) capable of moving in the open field and a variable circular wheel(VCW) for moving on a flat floor surface. The CSW is designed to be able to move in the open field and in all directions. The VCW was embedded in the CSW and designed to be folded and unfolded. The CSW is controlled by a DC motor and timing belt, and the actuator of the VCW is located in the center of the CSW and controls folding and unfolding functions. In order to evaluate the performance of the proposed driving mechanism, a prototype mobile robot was manufactured, and the test results confirmed that it is possible to move in both open ground and on flat ground.
방과 후 축구 운동이 남자 중학생의 건강관련체력과 코티졸에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this research was to examine the effect of soccer exercise on health-related physical fitness and cortisol in middle school students. 14 subjects were divided into control (n=7) and exercise (n=7) groups. Soccer exercise was carried out under the condition of 50-80 % of HRmax for 120 minutes, 3 days a week for 12 weeks. Health-related physical fitness (muscle strength, muscular endurance, flexibility, cardio-respiratory endurance, body composition) and cortisol of all subjects were measured before and after the experiment participation. Consequently muscle strength, flexibility, body weight, BMI, muscle mass, % body fat, WHR were significantly enhanced within exercise group after application of soccer exercise. Cortisol was significantly decreased within exercise group, and exercise group was shown that there was significant difference of cortisol, compared with control group. In summary, when considering the above results, soccer exercise could improve the levels of health-related physical fitness and the concentration of cortisol in middle school boys.
