차세대 Dispaly용 필름의 SKC 개발현황 및 전략

최근 Display 사업구조가 급변하고 있는 상황에 대응하기 위하여 SKC는 Commodity화 된 Display용 PET Film을 탈피하고 Specialty 제품을 중심으로 개발을 진행 중에 있다. 대면적 TV소재로서 Thermal 안정성이 강화된 제품과 더불어 고휘도, 고기능 표면처리제품이 현재 적용되고 있으며, Mobile용으로는 Foldable Phone의 보호 필름과 함께, 굴절율 및 Oligomer가 제어된 지문인식용(FOD) 필름을 개발 중에 있다. 특히, 편광판보호필름으로 사용되는 TAC필름을 대체하기 위하여 위상차 및 광축 제어필름 개발에 집중하고 있다. 또한, 주변환경 및 경시성에 무관한 영구대전방지성과 이형성이 동시에 구현되는 제품과 함께 PET와 Acryl이 나노적층 구조로 형성된 신규 광학용 공압출 다층필름을 포함하여, 우수한 내열, 내화학, 절연특성을 가진 PCT(Poly-cyclohexylene dimethylene-terephthalate) 필름을 세계 최초로 개발하여 EV용의 경량화 소재 및 기존의 FPCB소재로 적용 중에 있다. 그외, SKC는 PET필름과 더불어 PVdF필름 개발 기술을 접목한 Hybird 제품과 자동차 Glass용 PVB 필름과 투명 PI 필름 사업을 준비 중에 있다.
열방성 액정고분자 강화 PBT의 기계적 및 유변학적 특성

Blends of poly(butylene terephthalate) (PBT) and thermotropic liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) containing 60 mol% p-hydroxybenzoic acid and 40 mol% poly(ethylene terephthalate) were investigated in terms of mechanical, morphological and rheological properties. Mechanical property of PBT/LCP blends was affected by their compositions and fibril formations. Tensile and impact strengths of the PBT/LCP (95/5) blend were one and half times higher than those of PBT itself. Improvement of mechanical properties was obtained by LCP reinforcing effect in the PBT matrix with excellent dispersity and with partial miscibility between PBT/LCP as observed by Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). Fracture surface of the injection molded samples showed that the LCP formed finely dispersed spherical domains in the PBT matrix, and the LCP domains were the larger spherical droplet with increasing LCP content. However, PBT/LCP (95/5) blend showed tHe smallest LCP droplets in the whole compositions. Addition of 5~10 wt% of LCP slightly increased the melt viscosity of PBT/LCP blends. However, above 10 wt% of LCP content effectively affected a reducing melt viscosity of the PBT/LCP blends, and sharp shear thinning was shown at high shear rate.
데이터마이닝 기법을 이용한 효율적인 DRG 확인심사대상건 검색방법

Objectives : To develop a Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) fraud candidate detection method, using data mining techniques, and to examine the efficiency of the developed method. Methods ; The Study included 79,790 DRGs and their related claims of 8 disease groups (Lens procedures, with or without, vitrectomy, tonsillectomy and/or adenoidectomy only, appendectomy, Cesarean section, vaginal delivery, anal and/or perianal procedures, inguinal and/or femoral hernia procedures, uterine and/or adnexa procedures for nonmalignancy), which were examined manually during a 32 months period. To construct an optimal prediction model, 38 variables were applied, and the correction rate and lift value of 3 models (decision tree, logistic regression, neural network) compared. The analyses were peformed separately by disease group. Results : The correction rates of the developed method, using data mining techniques, were 15.4 to 81.9%, according to disease groups, with an overall correction rate of 60.7%. The lift values were 1.9 to 7.3 according to disease groups, with an overall lift value of 4.1. Conclusions : The above findings suggested that the applying of data mining techniques is necessary to improve the efficiency of DRG fraud candidate detection.
Properties of PVDF and PMMA Blends Films Prepared by Thermal Casting

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)/Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) blended films were optimized by changing the PMMA concentration in PVDF/PMMA blends for use as protective sheets for photo-voltage cells and modules. Films of poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) blends were prepared by thermal extrude casting. The rheological properties, chemical structure, crystalline behavior, thermal, morphology, optical properties and contact angle of the PVDF/PMMA blend films were examined by RDS, FTIR, XRD, DSC, TGA, SEM and color spectrometry. The PVDF/PMMA blend containing 30 wt.% PMMA showed good performance for potential applications as the protective sheet in photo-voltage cells and modules. The ${\alpha}$ and ${\beta}$ crystalline phases in the films decreased and increased, respectively, with increasing PMMA content. The shear viscosities increased with increasing PMMA content. The melt temperature ($T_m$) and crystalline temperature ($T_c$) of the blends decreased with increasing PMMA content.

The purpose of this article is to find alternative donor site for oral and maxillofacial bone defect. Autogenous cancellous bone is gold standard of bone graft materials. Anterior iliac crest is first choice to get autugenous cancellous bone. But it has some problems. For example, gate problem, large scar formation, and limitation of ambulation, etc. Bone harvesting from proximal tibia is simple and non-aggressive method to get autogenous cancellous bone. We had three cases of tibial bone graft, and we can get 8-17cc of cancellous bone. Patients can work immediate after surgery by their own feet, and had minimal discomfort and gate disturbance. If surgeon want sufficient amount of biologically highly valuable cancellous bone, proximal tibia could be one of the excellent donor site.
국민건강면접조사를 이용한 한국인의 DALE (Disability-Adjusted Life Expectancy)에 관한 연구

Objectives : To measure DALE (Disability-Adjusted Life Expectancy) in Korea to find out how long Koreans live in a state of full heath. Methods : DALE was calculated using the life table of 1999 and the disability prevalence from the National Health Interview Survey (NHIS), which was conducted with a sample of 13,523 households in 1998. The disability prevalence was measured using the annual prevalence of the long-term limitation of activities, which were divided into classes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 according to the severity of the limitation. The disability weights were measured for each 6 class by conducting a survey of 16 healthcare professionals. The severity-adjusted disability prevalence was calculated by multiplying the disability prevalence of each class by the disability weights respectively. Healthy life years lost due to disability was calculated by multiplying the life expectancy by the severity-adjusted disability prevalence. Finally DALE was measured as the life expectancy minus healthy life years lost due to disability. Results : DALE for 1999, which refers to the expectation of equivalent years of good health, were 72.5, 69.5 and 75.3 years, for total, for males and for females, respectively. The percentages for DALE out of the life expectancy were 95.8, 96.6 and 94.4% for total, for males and for females, respectively. Conclusions : DALE is a newly developed indicator, which could effectively show the healthy life expectancy of populations. A greater notice and use of DALE would be expected as life expectancies increase and the quality of life changes in Korea.
