The global contribution of the food system to greenhouse gas emissions ranges from approximately 21% to 37%. Within this, food loss and waste account for about 8% of greenhouse gas emissions. Currently, upcycling food has emerged as a potential solution to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions. However, research on consumer preference for upcycling food has not been conducted even though identifying consumer preference is important to identify market feasibility of this product. This study aims to estimate consumer willingness to pay (WTP) for upcycling food to assess its market potential. This study also investigates whether positive framing and social competition framing can increase consumer valuation for upcycling food. Furthermore, to confirm the result robustness of the study, we use both contingent valuation (CV) method and inferred valuation (IV) method to estimate consumer willingness to pay for upcycling food. The results show that consumers are willing to pay for additional 5% premium for upcycling food. Both positive framing and social competition framing have positive effects on consumer willingness to pay for upcycling food. We also confirm theory prediction by checking higher premium from CV method compared to the premium from IV method. Based on the results, we provide market implications for upcycling food.
고등학생의 공통과학 생물 실험에서 Vee Diagram 을 적용한 효과

The purpose of this study is to determine the effects derived from the application of Vee Diagram in the biology laboratory class in the high school. Study subjects were 4 classes of the first grade in girls high school located in Seoul; 2 control classes and 2 experimental classes. Control classes were made to give a laboratory reports in a traditional way. On the other hand, experimental classes were made to give a laboratory reports using Vee Diagram. The study period was from March to June, 1999 and four laboratory classes were carried out in the biology province in the 'Common Science' textbook. Experimental classes using Vee diagram has had much more significant effects than control classes in improving the intellectual achievement and inquiry ability achievement but has not had much more significant effects than control classes concerning the improvement of scientific attitude among students. Based on this and other previous study, the class using Vee diagram is thought to be very effective in improving the intellectual achievement. Going further, it is thought to be more effective to the high school students in terms of the inquiry ability achievement and to the students of lower grades in terms of the scientific attitude. As shown in the results of analysis of experiment reports using Vee Diagram, students were able to record 'Focus Question'. 'Concept', 'Principles/Rules', 'Measurement', 'Records' and 'Transformation' correctly. Students, however, were not able to record the utmost level of conceptual side and methodological side ; 'Theory' and 'Value Claim'. Therefore the careful directions and supervision are needed when it comes to the 'Theory' and 'Value Claim' in teaching the students.

In this thesis, it is designed efficient electrode formation on the organic luminescent device. ITO electrode is treated with $O_2$plasma. In order to inject hole efficiently, there is proposed the shape of anode that inserted plasma polymerized films as buffer layer between anode and organic layer using thiophene monomer. It is realized efficiently electron injection to aluminum due to introduce the quantum well in cathode. In the case of device inserted the buffer layer by using the plasma poiymerization after $O_2$plasma processing for ITO transparent electrode, since it forms the stable interface and reduce the moving speed of hole, the recombination of hole and electronic ate made in the omitting layer. Compared with the devices without buffer layer, the turn-on voltage was lowered by 1.0(V) doc to the introduction of buffer layer Since the quantum well structure is formed in front of cathode to optimize the tunneling effect, there is improved the power efficiency more than two times.
