The effect on the particulate matters in the atmosphere was investigated in Seoul area from March, 1984 to April, 1985. Aerosols were collected by filters on nine stages Anderson Air Sampler, and size distribution and total concentration of the aerosols, Fe and Pb were measured. In spring with Yellow Sand the concentration of particles in aerosols was 185.55㎍/m3 and CP/TA was 65.9%. But in spring without Yellow Sand those of particles was 135.45 ㎍/m3 and CP/TA was 58.6%. Accordingly the concentration of coarse particles with Yellow Sand was higher than without them in Spring. Above results indicate that in Seoul Area the main source of air pollution originated from natural burdens, especially from soil. The concentration of Pb was similarly valued through both seasons in Seoul area but fine particles valued above coarse particles. On the other hand, in urban area, the natural and anthropogenic sources have influenced on the concentration of Pb. With referred to particle size distribution for Fe, the concentration of coarse particles was 0.168㎍/m3 (CP/TA: 74.3%) in Spring with Yellow Sand, 0.096㎍/m3 (CP/TA: 71.6%) without Yellow Sand and 0.083 ㎍/m3 (CP/TA: 67.4%) in winter, respectively. Compared with fine particles, all of them were higher. It indicated that the origin of coarse particles in urban air was not related to anthropogenic source. The concentration of Fe was influenced by Yellow Sand and contributed to air pollution.
진동 보울피더에서 반복 충돌의 혼돈 동역학에 관한 실험적 연구

The vibratory bowl feeder is the most versatile of all hopper feeding devices for small engineering parts and the typical nonlinear dynamic system experiencing repeated impacts with friction. We model and analyze the dynamic behavior of a single part on the vibration track of the bowl feeder. While the previous studies are restricted to the sliding regime we focus our analysis on the hopping regime where the high conveying rate is available. We present the numerical simulation and experimental results for dynamic behavior and conveying rate in the chaotic regime is more or less independent of variations of the external parameters. Simulation and experimental results agree well. This research presented the important features for the design of the vibratory bowl feeder and holds much potential for leverage over design problems of wide range of mechanisms and tools with repeated collisions.

“조선어사전이 언제나 나는가?” 이것은 누구나 다 알고자 하는 심리다. 그리하여 누구든지 만나기만 하면 반드시 인사하는 말처럼 이것을 우리에게 먼저 묻는다. 이 묻는 말 가운데는 “사전이 얼른 났으면?”하는 희망 조건이 들어 있음을 알겠다. 또 이제는 해가 바뀌게 되었으니 “인제는 사전 편찬이 벌써 끝났으려니”하는 궁금증이 더욱 많으리라. 사실 우리 조선 사람에게는 아름다운 말이 있고 훌륭한 글이 있건마는 여태까지 사전 하나 없이 살아왔던가 하는 남 모를 설움과 부끄러움이 절로 복받치어 나오는 뜻일 것이다. 아무리 오늘날의 조선처럼 문화가 뒤떨어지고 생활이 쪼그러져 가는 이 판세기로니 여태 이것하나 내놓을 수 없다는 것이 말이 되느냐. 그러므로 조선 사람치고 누구든지 이에 관심하지 아니할 수 없게 되는 필연한 사실일 것이다.
