명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍 활동이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 효과

본 연구는 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍 활동이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 수행되었다. 연구대상은 만 5세 유아로 실험집단에 62명, 통제집단에 64명을 배정하여 사전ㆍ사후검사를 하였고, 검사도구는 이영자 외2인(1999)이 개발한 유아용 정서지능 평가 도구를 사용하였다. 실험집단은 연구자가 구성한 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍 활동과 연관활동을 12주 동안 실시하였다. 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍 활동 과정은 문제의 이해와 표상, 전략의 선택 및 계획, 전략의 수행, 해결전략의 평가과정을 다섯 단계의 절차로 세분화시켜 구성한 발문을 통해 이루어졌다. 연구결과 실험집단과 통제집단간에 정서지능이 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 본 연구의 명화를 활용한 브레인스토밍 기법을 적용한 교육활동은 유아의 정서지능을 향상시키는 데 효과적임이 밝혀졌다. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the brainstorming Activity using Masterpieces on young children'sㆍEmotional Intelligence. Topics studies with special emphasis are as follows: 1. What are the effects of the brainstorming Activity using Masterpieces upon the young children's emotional Intelligence? 2. Are there any differences the effect of the brainstorming Activity using Masterpieces on young children's emotional Intelligence between opposite sex? The object of this study had been set on the one hundred twenty-six 5-year old children who are members of E and H kindergartens in Seoul. The experimental groups were taught by the brainstorming activity using masterpieces once a week during the span of the total twelve weeks whereas the control groups were taught by the topic approach. In order to find if there were meaningful differences between experimental group and control group,「Emotional Intelligence Measure for Young Children(l999)」, that had been developed by Young Ja LeeㆍJong Sook LeeㆍEun Soo Shin was used. For data analysis and processing, SPSS program was used. The results of study were as follows: 1. Meaningful result that has a positive effect on young children's emotional Intelligence was produced by the brainstorming activity using masterpieces. 2. The fact that there are some differences the effect of the brainstorming activity using masterpieces on young children's emotional Intelligence between opposite sex was found. By this study, the brainstorming activity using masterpieces is effective for the improvement of young children's social development and emotional intelligence.
