The important problem we have when computer is installed in many sorts of companies and organizations will be the choise of computer. Before we make this choise, first, we have to determine the jobs to be applicable to it and the volume of their data, and then the machine configuration. If we fix these doterminations, we are able to make the choise of computer. There have studied many wats of the choise of computer till now but i want concentrate more in the study of the following ways than any other ways in this paper. 1) The method of GIPSON MIX 2) The method of BENCH MARK TEST 3) The method of SIMULATION 4) The method of POED There are able to be studied any other methods except these but to try to find out the complete methods of choise of computer.

This paper examines Herman Melville’s struggle with the question of God’s sovereignty and the extent of human agency as reflected in one of his short stories, “The Lightning-Rod Man” (1854). Comparing the narrator of the story with Ahab in Moby-Dick, Melville’s masterpiece published three years earlier, the paper demonstrates that at least until 1854, Melville still held in genuine respect those who strive at any cost to transcend limitations in human understanding and uncover the truth about the self and the universe rather than rest content within existing belief or knowledge systems. One of the similarities between the narrator and Ahab discussed in the paper is that both reject and rebel against the power of external authority to affect and determine their courses of life. Also, they are both unreasonably unafraid to put their own lives in great danger in aspiring to strike back at a fear instigator or the source of fear. Significantly, however, they do not rebel simply for rebellion’s sake, and their appropriation of fire that enables them to posit a divine entity they can both worship and defy is quite important in understanding their ultimate purpose: they both seek to define their own terms of faith and obtain the truth about ulterior reality that does exist but cannot be accessed through existing systems of knowledge or experience. Although Melville’s final position on how to reconcile human beings’ desire for independence with God’s sovereignty is quite difficult to fathom, these similarities between Ahab and the narrator help to discern the development of Melville’s thought by the time he wrote short stories for magazines.

This study is to investigate the pressure wave characteristics and the maximum pressure rise generated by instantaneous valve closure at the end of the straightening copper piping system. Experiments were conducted under the following conditions : initial pressure 1~5 bar, flow velocity 0.6~3.0 m/s and water temperature $20^{\circ}C$ . Results indicated that the peak pressure generated by quick valve closure reached Joukowsky's value. And we also found that the maximum pressure rise and the pressure history were depended on not only closing time but also flow velocity.

This paper concerns the study of a two-stage absorption heat pump cycle to utilize treated sewage. This two-stage cycle consists of coupling double-effect with parallel or series flow type and single effect cycle so that the first stage absorber and condenser produces hot water to evaporate refrigerant in the evaporator of the second stage. The effects of operating variables such as absorber temperature on the coefficient of performance have been studied for two-stage absorption heat pump cycle. The working fluid is lithium bromide and water solution. The efficiency of the two-stage absorption heat pump cycle has been studied and simulation results show that higher coefficient of performance could be obtained for the first stage with parallel flow type. The optimum ratio of solution distribution can be shown by considering the COP, the crystallization of solution and the generator temperature.

Determining the simultaneous flow rate in any particular section of piping is the important step in order to determine the size of water supply piping. Now we are using the diversity curve of common water closet in order to determine the simultaneous flow rate of water supply piping, but there is a difference between a determined flow rate of general water closet and that of water closet for water saving. This study aims to find out the fixture unit of a flush valve type water closet for water saving in office building, and to determine the correlation between the fixture units and peak flow rates on the basis of the probability theory. A flush valve type water closet for water saving that have a 7.5 second duration of flush operation with an average design flow rate 72 $\ell$/fin was considered. Simulation results indicate that the number 5 is shown to be reasonable to the fixture unit of water closet for water saving. And the design can be undersized considerably with the revised diversity curves using modified fixture unit.

The present study is to investigate the pressure wave characteristics and the absorption of the maximum and minimum pressure generated by instantaneous valve closure and opening at the end of the straightening copper Piping system with and without an air chamber. Also, life of air chamber is investigated. Experiments were conducted under the following conditions: initial pressure of 1~5 bar, flow velocity of 0.5~3.0 m/s, water temperature of<TEx>$20^{\circ}C$ and air chamber volume of 45.1~449.5$cm^3$ The results of the study can be used in sizing air chamber and selecting the water hammer absorbtion apparatus.
