연속된 와이어를 이용한 다층 PCM 의 제조방법 및 특성 평가

Truss PCMs(Periodic Cellular Metals) have been studied since the new millennium because of their superior specific stiffness, strength and potential of multi functions. Prior studies have focused on manufacturing method and structural optimization. Especially, special attention has been focused on Kagome truss PCM because Kagome truss PCM has higher resistance to plastic buckling, more plastic deformation energy and lower anisotropy than other truss PCMs. In this study, we introduce a new idea to fabricate multilayered Kagome truss PCM from continuous wires which can gain high strength as in piano wires and can be controlled to be defect free owing to drawing process. The relative density and the bending & compression stiffness and strength is estimated through elementary mechanics and compared with experiments and FEA. The failure mechanisms are analyzed, and also mechanical performance and production are discussed.

In this paper, first, the geometry and the effect of the geometry such as the curved shape of the struts, which compose the truss structure of WBK, are elaborated. Then, analytic solutions for the material properties of WBK and the maximum loads of a WBK-cored sandwich panel under bending are derived. A design optimization with the face sheet thickness and the core height selected as the design variables is presented for given slenderness ratios of the WBK core. Unless the face sheet thickness is limited, the optimal design to give the maximum load per weight is always found at a confluence of three failure modes, namely, face sheet yielding, indentation plastic, and core shear modeB plastic.
여정실(女貞實)이 LPS로 유발된 RAW 264.7 cell의 염증에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of Ligustri Lucidi Fructus water extract (LF) in the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced mouse macrophages RAW 264.7 cell. Methods: Ligustri Lucidi Fructus was extracted with distilled water (2,000 ml) for 2 hours. In order to evaluate cytotoxicity of LF, 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl) -2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay was performed. To investigate anti-inflammatory effects of LF, the concentration of nitric oxide (NO) was measured with NO assay, cytokine was measured by Bio-Plex cytokine assay, and intracellular calcium (Ca) was measured with Fluo-4 Ca assay in RAW 264.7 cell. And when p-value is below 0.05, it is judged to have the significant difference statistically (P<0.05). Results:1. LF showed no cytotoxicity. 2. LF inhibited significantly the production of NO at the concentration of 25, 50 and 100 μg/ml. 3. LF inhibited significantly the production of interleukin (IL)-4, macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP)-1α, granulocyte colony stimulating factor (G-CSF) at the concentration of 25, 50, 100 and 200 μg/ml. 4. LF inhibited significantly the production of granulocyte macrophage-colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) at the concentration of 50, 100 and 200 μg/ml, the interferon (IFN)-γ at 25, 50 and 100 μg/ml respectively. 5. LF inhibited significantly the production of IL-1β at the concentration of 50 and 200 μg/ml, the IL-5 at 25 and 100 μg/ml, the IL-12p70, MIP-1β at 50 and 100 μg/ml, the regulated on activation, normal T cell expressed and secrete d (RANTES) at 100 and 200 μg/ml respectively. 6. LF inhibited significantly the production of IL-10, interferon gamma-induced protein (IP)-10 at the concentration of 200 μg/ml. 7. LF inhibited significantly the production of intracellular Ca at the concentration of 25, 50, 100 and 200 μg/ml.

Objectives :The purpose of this study was to analyze persistent pollutants(harmful heavy metals, sulfur dioxide and residual pesticides) in 23 kinds of Korea traditional medical materials. Methods :This study was carried out on 23 samples of Korea traditional medical materials. The examination methods follow the guideline of food and drug administration. Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) was used to analyze arsenic, cadmium, lead. Mercury was analyzed by amalgamation methods. A modified Monier-Williams method was used to analyze sulfur dioxide. The gas chromatography / electron capture detector (GC/ECD) was used to analyze residual pesticides. Results & Conclusions :Most of the results were within normal limits at baseline. but cadmium was detected over the limits in 1 sample and residual pesticides was detected over the limits in 5 samples.
