        음악요소 지도에 전자 건반악기를 도입하는 수업 아이디어 구안 연구

        The use of electronic keyboards has certain benefits for classroom music instruction when compared to acoustic pianos. The purpose of this study is to illustrate the various instructional ideas utilizing electronic keyboards to teach musical elements in school music classroom. This study reviewed the results of several related studies dealing with the effectiveness of electronic keyboard on music teaching. And the study also examined several keyboard music programs in order to gather some useful information which could be applied in designing learning activities using electronic keyboard. The electronic keyboard music curricular reviewed in the study are as follows: ① Yamaha Music in Education(MIE); ② SoundTree General Music Curriculum; ③ Music Expressions Music Technology-MIDI Keyboard Curriculum; ④ Exploring General Music in the Keyboard Lab(Cavalier); and ⑤ Keyboards in General Music(Feldstein & Cavalier). The instructional ideas are presented in two parts. The first part describes the specific teaching applications utilizing the various functions built in electronic keyboard. The second part deals with the effective teaching strategies to promote student's conceptual understanding and musical creativity. Each instructional idea is presented as a separable lesson module appropriate for a portion of a class session and can be adaptable to numerous teaching conditions. It is hoped that the instructional strategies devised by this study would help general music teachers who are preparing to integrate MIDI keyboard technology into their music curriculum.         Kodaly 음악지도법과 국내 적용 방법에 관한 연구

        This study is concerned with the Koda´ly music method in Hungary and its adaptations for use in Korean music curriculum. Related literature and journal articles were reviewed to provide teaching techniques and procedures, instructional organization, and teaching materials of the method. Koda´ly developed a method of teaching to build a national musical culture of Hungary, emphasizing the importance of the early musical training of children. Folk music is the foundation of the Koda´ly method, especially using the pentatonic scale as the basic materials of early musical training. The Koda´ly approach sought an aesthetic experience through the development of a musical skill of reading notation, part-singing, tonal memory, and improvisation. These basic techniques were the solfegge singing of the movable do system and Curwen` hand signals that aid in the development of tonal relationships. Another important aspect of the Koda´ly method is the use of the rhythm duration syllable to facilitate rhythmic sense. Koda´ly stressed that music curriculum should be organized into sequentially structured activities which based on the Child-Developmental Logic rather than Subject-Logic approach, considering young children`s natural ability. Koda´ly curriculum progresses by units from simple to complex and includes singing, reading and writing, rhythmic movement, ear-training. listening, inner-hearing, and improvisation. This study deals with appropriate teaching suggestion for possible use of the Koda´ly method in Korean educational system. Koda´ly`s teaching material based on the Hungarian folk music at first caused problems for adaptation in Korea. Although some culutural, curricular, and musical differences between two countries might present difficulty in adapting the approach, some effective teaching techniques such as hand-signals, rhythm duration syllable, rote-singing, and/or visual teaching aids could be applied with some modifications to improve the teaching skills of Korean music teacher. For a successful implication, further investigations are strongly recommended to search out our folk song material suitable for use in the Koda´ly system. A constant look out for teaching material is important to fulfill Korean student`s special need, interest, and emotion.

        20세기 현대 피아노 작품 지도를 위한 레퍼토리 조사

        본 연구의 목적은 20세기 현대음악에 대한 흥미와 이해를 도모하면서 피아노 연주기술을 효과적으로 신장시킬 수 있는 다양한 양식의 중급 수준 20세기 교수용 피아노 레퍼토리를 광범위하게 조사, 수집, 검토, 분석하여 교육적 가치를 지닌 악곡들을 선정하는데 있다. 최종 선정된 악곡들은 다음의 네 영역으로 나누어 각 영역별로 추천 악곡을 목록화하여 제시하였다: ‘작곡가 작품집’, ‘음악양식’, ‘피아노주법’, 및 ‘20세기 작곡기법’. 레퍼토리 선정의 타당한 근거를 마련하기 위해 20세기 피아노 작품 지도의 교육적 의의와 20세기 피아노 음악의 특징에 대한 문헌 고찰이 이루어졌으며 악곡 검색 및 수집방법에 대한 과정 설명과 악곡선정에 대한 구체적인 기준이 제시되었다.

        20 세기 현대음악의 이해를 위한 창조적 음악 탐구 활동에 대한 연구 - 초등학교 교과과정의 적용을 위하여 -

        Music of all periods, styles, forms, and cultures should be provided to the students to promote comprehensive musicianship which is one of the most important educational concepts in contemporary music education. Unfortunately much emphasis has been given on the music of the common practice period. There has been little opportunity to experience the music in the twentieth-century idiom. This study is conducted to develop a variety of guided activities for the creative music exploration to promote an understanding of the twentieth-century music for the elementary school students in general music class. The teaching suggestions designed for the study are classified into the following two categories: 1) the teaching approach for a free musical exploration with various sound sources and the twentieth-century compositional devices by searching for new sounds, experimenting, exploring, manipulating and/or organizing sound in various ways 2) the teaching approach to be incorporated into the existing program of music curriculum and to introduce the twentieth-century compositional techniques as a complementary learning activity to the study of the songs in the music textbook. Related literature were reviewed to reveal the logical basis for the teaching of the contemporary music and its importance in student`s musical growth. The study also examined the educational and the musical benefits of music learning in experiencing with the experimental music and creating the emperical composition in the style of the twentieth-century music. The major characteristics of the exploratory activities in this study are summerized as follows: 1) It encourges creative experiment in music, emphasizing the direct contact with sound. 2) It develops the student`s creative potentials because of the creative and experimental nature inherent in the twentieth-century music. 3) It does not require a previous musical experience and knowledge in theory and harmony, thus effective for young student`s musical learning. 4) It provides the opportunities to explore a wide variety of sound sources and various ways of musical expression. 5) It facilitates the discovery of the basic concepts of music and the transfer of learning to the various styles of music because of its concept-oriented teaming procedures. 6) It fosters the musical understanding by participating in a process of exploration of sound and its expressive quality and creative aspect rather than implanting concepts and facts in a manner of rotary learning. 7) It contributes a growth of listening discrimination of contemporary music by helping the student familarize the sound world of contemporary music.

        Daily Copper and Manganese Intakes and Their Relation to Blood Pressure in Normotensive Adults

        Although it has been proposed that trace minerals have anti-oxidative functions and are related to the control of blood pressure, only a limited number of studies directly address the issue. Thus, the purpose of our study was to assess the intake of copper and manganese, which are trace minerals, and to clarify their relation to blood pressure. In a cross-sectional study, the blood pressure of 640 normotensive adults, from 19 to 69 year-old (320 males and 320 females), was measured, and its correlation with the intake of copper and manganese was assessed using a 24-hour dietary recall method. The average value of the blood pressure was 126.4/80.2 mmHg for the males and 117.8/75.8 mmHg for the females. The daily copper intake was 1.3 mg/day for the males and 1.2 mg/day for the females. For manganese, the daily intake was 4.2 mg/day for the males and 4.1 mg/day for the females. Although the copper intake of all subjects showed a positive correlation with the systolic and diastolic blood pressures, there was no significant correlation when the potential confounding factors were adjusted. The manganese intake of the male subjects had a significantly negative correlation with the systolic blood pressure after adjusting for gender, age, body mass index, and energy intake. In conclusion, the daily manganese intake of the normotensitve adults showed a significantly negative correlation with the systolic blood pressure indicating a possibility of a positive effect of manganese on blood pressure.

        現行 사십구일재의 節次에 관한 문제점 고찰

        현행하는 사십구일재는 대부분 오전 10시에 시작해 약 2시간 남짓 행하는데 시련(侍輦)을 시작으로 대령(對靈)과 관욕(灌浴) 그리고 상단 권공(上壇勸供)과 중단퇴공(中壇退供), 관음시식(觀音施食)과 봉송(奉 送)의 순으로 정례화된 지 오래다. 그러나 현재의 절차가 무엇에 근거 하여 정립되어 이르렀는지에 관한 구체적인 사실관계는 확인할 수 없 다. 조선 시대로부터 전해진 수많은 재의식 관련 문헌이 있지만, “사십 구일재”ㆍ“사십구재(四十九齋)”란 명칭은 확인되지 않는다. 심지어 근대 활동하는 범패승들이 저본(底本)으로 삼고 있는 『석문의범』(釋門儀範) 에서 조차 사십구일재란 독립된 재의식은 발견되지 않는다. 본고는 불교의 사상과 신앙적 믿음에 기초해 유명(幽冥)을 달리한 망자(亡者)를 위로하고 극락왕생을 발원하기 위해 설행하는 보편적인 사십구일재의 절차와 구조가 현재처럼 전승하는 게 과연 올바른 것인지 를 자문(自問)하고 문제의식을 제시하는 데 초점을 둔다. 지난 30여 년 동안 불교계의 대표적인 어산(魚山) 스님들과 함께해 온 경험을 토대로 각 절차의 전개와 구성 그리고 내용 전반을 누구나 공감할 수 있도록 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다. 어쩌면 우리가 알고 행하는 사십구일재는 근대에 이르러 스승의 구전을 바탕으로 재정립된 의식일 수도 있기 때 문이다. The current 49th day ritual mostly begins 10 o’clock in the morning and lasts for 2 hours. It starts with Si-ryeon(侍輦) and leads to Dae-ryung(對靈), Gwan-yok(灌浴), SangDanGwungong(上壇勸供), JungDanTweGong(中壇退供), KwanEumSiSik(觀音施食) and Bongsong (奉送) in sequence, which has been done on a regular basis for a long time. However, it is not sure where the current procedure comes from. Literature on rituals from Joseon Dynasty exists but the term, 49th day ritual or 49th ritual(四十九齋), does not identified on it. Furthermore, the separate ritual, 49th day ritual, does not exist on 『Seokmuneuibeom』(釋門儀範) which is the original script for monks of a Buddhist chant. This study focuses on whether currently transferred procedure and structure of general 49th day ritual is right and on suggesting the awareness of the problem; the 49th day ritual consoles the deceased and prays for rebirth in paradise based on Buddhism and religious belief. It suggests the improvement plan for relatable procedure, organization and contents based on the experience with the leading Buddhist monk of Eosan(魚山) for the past 30 years. It is because the versant 49th day ritual might be reestablished based on oral tradition from the masters in modern times.
