Recently, the existing housing reconstruction redevelopment of urban regeneration projects rather than a new residential development projects around the city are growing. But sustainability of the city is having a negative impact because system to evaluate environmental aspects of these projects is nonexistent. In this paper, to assess environmental sustainability of urban regeneration projects based on Index of environmental assessment, we are going to establish Preliminary standard index. And Quantitative environmental assessment standard is needed for practical assessment. To prepare quantitative evidence of environmental assessment standard, we going to establish final 28 index by comparing with Items of Green Building Certification Criteria and final review.
교정용 미니스크류를 이용한 연속호선과 분절호선의 유한요소분석

설측의 연속호선과 분절호선의 3차원 유한요소 모델에서 레버암의 길이와 미니스크류의 위치를 달리하여 전치부 후방 견인 시의 변위 양상을 비교하였다. 구개 경사면 견인 시, 두 호선 공히 레버암이 짧을수록 전치부의 설측 경사 이동을, 20 mm인 경우 중절치의 치체 이동 및 견치의 치근 이동 양상을 나타냈다. 정중구개봉합부 견인 시의 변위 양상은 구개 경사면의 경우와 유사하였으나, 레버암이 20 mm인 두 호선에서 절치의 치체 이동 및 연속호선에서 전치부의 함입 소견을 보였다. 호선 종류에 관계없이 레버암이 길어질수록 절치의 정출은 감소하였고, 구개 경사면에서의 견인인 경우와 함께 견치의 협측 변위가 증가하였으며, 분절호선에서 변위량이 많았다. 연속호선상의 제2소구치는 근심 경사 이동 및 함입 소견을, 대구치는 레버암이 길수록 원심 이동 및 협측 변위를 나타낸 반면, 분절호선상의 구치부도 3차원적 이동 양상을 나타냈으나 변위량은 미미하였다. 전치부 후방 견인 시 레버암 작용에 의해 절치의 경사 이동과 견치의 측방 이동 경향이 있었으며, 치체 이동을 위해서는 약 20 mm의 레버암을 추천할 수 있다. 또한 호선의 종류가 치열 변위 양상 및 변위량에 차이를 나타냈다. Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare the displacement patterns shown by finite element analysis when the maxillary anterior segment was retracted from different orthodontic miniscrew positions and different lengths of lever arms in lingual continuous and segmented arch techniques. Methods: A three dimensional model was produced, the translation of teeth in both models was measured and individual displacement was calculated. Results: When traction was carried out from miniscrews in the palatal slope, lingual tipping of crowns and extrusion of the maxillary anterior segment were found in both continuous and segmented arches as the lever arms were made shorter. With miniscrews in the midpalatal suture area, the displacement patterns were similar to the palatal slope, but bodily movement of the upper incisors was observed in both continuous and segmented arches with the lever arm at 20 mm. When lever arms were longer, there was less extrusion of the incisors and more buccal displacement of the canines. Such displacement was shown less in the continuous arch than the segmented arch. The second premolar showed crown mesial tipping and intrusion, and the molars showed distal tipping in the continuous arch. The posterior segment was displaced three dimensionally in the segmented arch, but the amount of displacement was less than the continuous arch. Conclusions: It is recommended that lever arms of 20 mm in length be used for bodily movement of the anterior segment. Use of continuous or segmented arches affect the displacement patterns and induce differences in the amount of displacement.

??The final goal of this serial study is to develop the environmental assessment guideline for urban regeneration projects. Getting to this goal, we drew the tasks of environmental assessment in previous paper. For the next step, this paper sets the aim that is to draw the index and strategy of environmental assessment. This paper firstly specifies 48 essential index of environmental assessment from reviewing domestic and overseas environmental assessment systems, latest research materials and urban regeneration cases. Furthermore it surveys professionals and residents, through the analysis of the surveys, it sets 4 steps process for the environmental assessment for urban regeneration. The results of this paper are expected to develop the environmental assessment standard and model.
상하악에 동시 다발성 골신장술을 이용한 반안면왜소증의 치험례

The hemifacial microsomia is characterized by variable underdevelopment of the craniofacial skeleton, external ear, and facial soft tissues. So, patients with hemifacial microsomia have an occlusal plane canting and malocclusion with facial asymmetry. Distraction osteogenesis (DO) with an intraoral or extraoral device is a technique using tension to generate new bone with gradual bone movement and remodeling. DO has especially been used to correct craniofacial deformities such as a hemifacial microsomia, facial asymmetry, and mandible defect that could not adequately be treated by conventional reconstruction with osteotomies. It has a significant advantage to lengthen soft and hard tissue of underdeveloped site without bone graft and a few complication such as nerve injury or muscle contracture. A 13-years old girl visited our clinic for the chief complaint of facial asymmetry. She had a left hypoplastic maxilla and mandible, occlusal plane canting and malocclusion. We diagnosed hemifacial microsomia and lanned DO to lengthen the affected side. Le Fort I osteotomy, left mandibular ramus and symphysis osteotomy were performed. The internal distraction devices fixed with screw on maxillary and mandibular ramus osteotomy sites. External devices were adapted to lower jaw for DO on symphysis osteotomy site and to upper jaw for rapid maxillary expansion (RME). At 7days after surgery, distraction was started at the rate of 1mm per day for 13days, and after 4months consolidation periods, distraction devices were removed. Simultaneous multiple maxillo-mandibular distraction osteogenesis with RME resulted in a satisfactory success in correcting facial asymmetry as well as occlusal plane canting for our hemifacial microsomia.
악교정 수술이 요구되는 골격성 II급 성인의 설측 절충 치험례

As an esthetic demand is becoming greater, more people are seeking for orthodontic treatment. However, patients do not want to show their brackets or any orthodontic appliance during treatment. Therefore, lingual orthodontic treatment is one of the options to satisfy these patient’s demands. This case was about the treatment of a 26-year-old male with skeletal Class II malocclusion, severe lip protrusion and retruded chin. Both maxillary 1st premolars and a mandibular right incisor were extracted. By using temporary skeletal anchorage devices (TSADs), enough retraction of the maxillary anterior dentition and intrusion of the mandibular anterior dentition was achieved. With the help of TSADs, proper occlusion and esthetic profile were achieved without any surgical procedures.

Use of ready-made orthodontic appliance can lead to inefficiencies in the final stages of the orthodontic treatment. Because patients’ teeth have anatomic variations, brackets that have been designed to fit on average tooth surface may result in positional discrepancies when leveling and alignment is completed. As a result, additional steps such as rebonding, wire bending and use of auxiliaries may be needed. Even in patients who have normal tooth anatomy and proper tooth size relationships, precise bracket placement is crucial in order to efficiently control the tooth positions. Digital models can provide advantages in clinical orthodontics as virtual tooth setup could be performed, and clinicians can easily visualize the predicted final occlusion. Through this setup model, customized brackets with individualized prescription and archwires that optimally fit with the patients’ dental arches can be produced using CAD/CAM technology. Also, the brackets can be accurately placed with an aid of 3D-printed jigs. The purpose of this article is to introduce the commonly used labial and lingual customized orthodontic appliance systems using digital technology.
