고효율 기계적 박리기술을 이용한 폐 젤리충진 통신케이블 재활용 연구

폐 젤리충진 케이블로부터 고순도 구리 와이어를 높은 회수율과 생산성으로 회수할 수 있는 친환경 공정을 개발하였다. 두 롤러(roller) 사이에 폐 케이블을 공급해주고 롤러의 밀착 압력이 외피(주로 polyethylene)의 인장강도 이상이 되면 자연스럽게 구리 심선과 외피로 분리되도록 한 단순한 기계적 방법만을 적용한 친환경 공정을 개발하였으며, 연속공정을 위한 세부 요소기술을 접목하고 이를 실험적으로 검증하였다. 연속공정을 통한 구리 와이어 평균 회수율은 98% 이상, 처리속도는 55 Kg/hr이었으며, 상업화 공정을 위한 진일보된 공정으로 평가될 수 있다. Highly efficient and environmentally friendly mechanical process was developed for the higher recovery rate and productivity in the recycling of waste jelly-filled communication cables. Only the simplest mechanical method was designed and built for a continuous process, further proved experimentally along with the addition of several parts such as brush-type rollers and scrappers. In this process, the recovery rate and productivity were 98% and 55 Kg/hr respectively. This process is thought to be simple but highly advanced method for the commercialization of green process.

The purpose of this study is to understand the locational characteristics of performing art industries and to investigate the linkages with local economy. For the purpose, we examine the spatial concentration of cultural and artistic resources in Korea first, and than focus on Seoul where the resources of performing art industries are concentrated to the utmost. To distinguish the distribution aspect and locational characteristics of performing art industries, we apply the Kernel density analysis and LISA (Local Indicator of Spatial Association) on the address data of performing art theater, gallery, and movie theater. In contrast to galleries and movie theaters. the spatial distribution pattern of performing art theaters reveals a unique local cluster centered on the Daehakro area. We confirm that the Daehakro area constitutes a performing art industry cluster in their dense distribution of various related activities making up the value chain of the performing art industry. Multiple regression analysis probes the related economic activities to explain the distribution of performing art theaters as well as the linkages with the local economic landscape.

인공 지능 로봇의 기본적인 기능에는 시각 기능과 무선 통신 기능이 포함된다. 로봇의 무선통신 기능으로 ZigBee를 적용하였다. ZigBee는 저전력, 근거리, 저속을 위한 무선 표준으로 최근 많이 연구 되고 있다. 로봇이 촬영한 영상 정보를 서버로 ZigBee 통신을 통해 전송하고, 서버에서 패턴인식을 빠르게 적용할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 근거리 무선 통신망으로 개발된 ZigBee 무선 통신을 영상을 전송할 수 있는 이미지 센서로 제작하고 이 센서를 로봇에 부착하여 이동성을 추가한 시스템의 구현하였다. 연구 결과로 로봇에 시각기능과 ZigBee 무선통신을 부여하고 전송된 영상에서 얼굴 검출을 적용하였다.

The increase of energetic efficiency in plane bearing is getting more important in the transfer mechanism of semi-conductor and display panel manufacturing processes. To accomplish this objective, the technique of surface texturing on bearing surface has recently emerged as one of the most effective candidates. In this study, the effects of various pattern parameters on two bearing performance indices(load carrying capacity and effective friction coefficient) are investigated through a semi-analytic method, i.e., the 2-dimensional Reynolds equation incorporated into the finite difference scheme. Here, cavitation effect is also taken into account by employing an appropriate numerical scheme. In this study, the patterns in the textured surface are composed of a series of semi-spheres or semi-ellipsoids in shape. The effects of their size and number density on the performance indices are examined through the performance of various numerical experiments. Also, the effects of the anisotropy of the semi-ellipsoidal pattern on the bearing’s lubrication characteristics are investigated and discussed.

암(예: 폐암, 전립선암, 간암, 부신겉질샘암종 등)의 조기 진단은 치료비용, 생존율, 완치 여부를 결정짓는 아주 중요한 단계다. 현재의 암 진단 시스템(예: 조직검사, 컴퓨터단층쵤영, 양전자방출단층쵤영, 자기공명영상, 초음파촬영 등)은 고가의 장비를 사용하거나 훈련된 고급 인력만이 수행 가능하기 때문에 신속한 조기 진단에 적합하지 못하다. 국제 의과학 사회는 현장검사(point of care) 디바이스 개발을 통한 효과적인 질병 관리 시스템 개발을 지향하고 있으며, 다양한 분석법 기반의 디바이스가 개발되어왔다. 이 중에서도 측면 흐름 면역 크로마토그래피 분석법 스트립은 경제적인 비용, 짧은 검사 시간, 사용자의 쉬운 접근성 등의 많은 이점들이 있다. 본 논문에서는 LFIA 스트립의 최신 연구 동향을 바탕으로 암 진단 관점에서의 비색법 기반 LFIA 스트립의 연구 방향 및 잠재적 응용에 대해 논의하고자 한다. Successful early diagnosis of cancer diseases such as lung, prostate, liver and adrenocortical carcinoma is a key step in determining the cost of treatment, survival rate, and cure rate. Most of current cancer diagnosis systems including biopsy, computed tomography (CT), positron emission tomography (PET)-CT, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasonography, etc., require expensive and complicated equipment with highly trained human resources. Global medical and scientific communities have thus made numerous efforts on developing effective but rapid disease management system via introducing a wide spectrum of point-of-care medical diagnosis devices. Among them, a lateral flow immunoassay strip technique has gained a great attention due to many advantages such as cost-effectiveness, short inspection time, and user friendly accessibility. In this mini-review, we will highlight recent research trend on the development of colorimetry based LFIA strips for cancer diagnosis and discuss the future research direction and potential applications.

In this study, the dynamic behavior of a hollow cylinder under a periodic, consecutive moving force applied at the inner hole is investigated. The cylinder is assumed to deform large compared to the classical linear elastic material, so that the Neo-Hookean constitutive model is employed. The cylinder is fixed at the top and bottom surfaces in the present model. The resulting governing equation and the associated boundary conditions appear to be highly nonlinear in the cylinder’ s displacements. After performing the eigen analysis on the present system, an appropriate biorthogonality condition is obtained. Galerkin’ s method is applied, in conjunction with the eigen analysis results, to obtain the discretized equation of motion, which include the nonlinearity of both the governing field equation and boundary conditions.
