R&D투자가 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 기술사업화 능력의 매개효과를 중심으로

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect on R&D investment and technology commercialization capabilities on business performance of 118 Korean firms which has R&D center. In particular, this study tried to define technology commercialization and technology commercialization capabilities for the board and narrow perspective, and investigates the role of technology commercialization capabilities in linking R&D investment and business performance in terms of a financial performance as the growing rate of sales, the growing rate of operating income to sales and non-financial performance as the ratio of technology commercialization. The results of this study are as follows. First, the findings of the research indicated that there was a significant positive relationship between R&D investment and business performance as financial and non-financial. Second, the study found that board technology commercialization capability as technology strategic planning, technology process, and technology organization has the mediating effect to R&D investment on business performance as the ratio of technology commercialization. Third, the study found that narrow technology commercialization capability as manufacturing and marketing play a mediating role in terms of business performance as financial and non-financial. R&D연구소를 보유하고 있는 우리나라 민간기업 118개를 분석한 결과, R&D투자는 기술사업화성과, 매출액증가율 및 영업이익증가율 등 경영성과에 모두 긍정적인(+)영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였고, 기술사업화 능력이 R&D투자와 경영성과간의 관계에서 분석한결과, 기술전략기획능력, 기술프로세스능력, 기술조직능력인 광의의 기술사업화 능력이 경영성과에 부분적으로 매개효과를 나타났으며, 제조능력과 마케팅능력인 협의의 기술사업화 능력은 경영성과에 모두 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 R&D투자가 경영성과를 달성하는데 필요한 요인이지만, 기술사업화 능력도 경영성과에 매개작용을 하므로 기술사업화능력을 강화하는 것이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.
ABR 서비스를 위한 ATM망의 폭주 제어 알고리즘의 분석

In recently, Rate-based Congestion Control Scheme have been adopted for Available Bit Rate(ABR) service due to compact of execution and measurement as a standard by the ATM Forum. Enhanced congestion control Algorithm over the existing proposals related to rate-based congestion control scheme is Enhanced Propotional Rate Control Algorithm (EPRCA). Rate-based congestion control algorithm uses Explicit Feedback Congestion Indication (EFCI) bit and Resource Management(RM) cell to convey the network congestion information to the Source End System(SES). The goal of this paper is to present an analysis of the rate controlled ABR system in the most stressful transient conditions. With this paper, we will be able to determine the buffer requirement and rate control parameter setting for supporting ABR service class. Also, this paper contributes the analysis of the transient queueing and rate behaviors that only exist with the ABR service class. With this study, We find out that the buffer requirement far the closed-loop rate-based congestion control increases to the feedback delay, the number of connections, and the initial cell rate

In this thesis, an advanced load balancing algorithm for distributed systems is presented. The distributed parallel processing has emerged as a key technology in modern computers for higher performance and lower costs. In ideal case, the performance of a distributed system will increase linearly with the number of processors. But actually, the performance curve is not ideal because of the saturation effect. In distributed systems, processors have different work loads for instance, some of the processors are idle while others are still working. This causes a degradation of the system performance. The load balancing is conducted by transferring some task from heavily loaded processors to lightly loaded processors. In this paper, an advanced load balancing algorithm in nth order Hypercube distributed system has been proposed. The new algorithm uses centralized load-balancing to avoid blocking phenomenon and processor thrashing, and shows the results which makes loads to approach average value of loads. The new algorithm is compared with several other algorithm and it shows a merit in cost function value.

As the a infrastructure for new generation mobile communication system such as future public land mobile telecommunications system(FPLMTS), asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) will be used. To apply for a low bit rate voice signal and delay sensitive low bit rate data, a new ATM adaptation layer(AAL) is need to be standardized as a AAL-CU (composite user information). The AAL-CU adapts the short-packet to the interface between base station(BS) and mobile switching center(MSC). This paper studies on three type of AAL-CU and also identify the various further items in view point of AAL-CU connection, signaling capability, and OAM in case the AAL-CU is applied for FPLMTS.

Generally. 90% of data saved in disks by current companies are sometimes the ones not being used at all. The sudden increase of data are led to the expansion of companies' storages especially the capacity of the discs. However, from the standpoint of the companies. they cannot expand the capacity of the disc recklessly. Therefore. instead of importing expensive foreign products. it is necessary to develop high quality products of cheap price so that the small and medium companies can also introduce without difficulty. The device suggested from this study is Network Attached Storage system. It is the same concept with the existing File Server. It has capability of keeping all the data, yet. it is different technology compared to the existing concept. T! his product's operative system was developed to be fit for the product that it is the best-suited product in its efficiency. And in order to lower the cost of the product. I have used ATP disc. And to enhance the credibility of the product. I have stablized the system by using RAID technology. Also in order to minimize down time. I have enabled the system to drive within 5 minutes. The technology suggested from this study can be applied to wherever the large capacity media storage and the network occurred same time is wanted such as education-related department and etc.
Accuracy of Medical Directors for Indirect Medical Oversight on Prehospital Care

Introduction This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of assessment of medical directors for indirect medical oversight on prehospital care. Material & Method Medical directors assessed the same prehospital care run sheets with 6 cases of cardiac arrest, 4 cases of withhold or interruption of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and 6 cases of severe trauma patients. Demographics of the medical directors and the accuracy of their assessment for the prehospital care run sheets were investigated. Result Board certified emergency physician was 14 (58%) of the total 21 medical directors. Eleven medical directors were educated for medical director course of the Korean council of EMS physicians. The accuracy of the assessment of the medical directors was 50% in the assessment of electrocardiogram using automated external defibrillator (AED) in cardiac arrest. Pulse check, respiration check, AED monitoring and the reason of interruption for CPR were assessed accurately lower than 60% in assessing for withhold or interruption of CPR. The lowest accurate assessment of medical directors was the appropriate treatment for trauma with 36.5% in severe trauma. Conclusion Lower accuracy in some assessment of the medical directors for indirect medical oversight on prehospital care were identified. Education and quality control are needed for medical directors to provide high quality indirect medical oversight.
