The expression of Bis (also called Bag-3), a Bcl-2-binding protein, was investigated in the rat kainicacid (KA) model of temporal lobe epilepsy. Westernblot analysis showed a significant increase in theexpression levels of Bis protein in the hippocampusfollowing the systemic administration of KA. Bisimmunoreactivity increased preferentially in the CA1and CA3 regions, as well as in the hilar region of thedentate gyrus. Experiments with double immunofluorescencerevealed that, in KA-administered rats,the cells expressing Bis were GFAP-expressingreactive astrocytes. The increase in Bis immunoreactivitywas accompanied by increased Bcl-2 inreactive astrocytes in the striatum radiatum,whereas Bcl-2 immunoreactivity in pyramidal neuronswas not affected. These results of the coexpressionof Bis and Bcl-2 in reactive astrocytes inthis seizure model suggest that Bis might modulatethe glial reaction under excitotoxic brain injury,probably by interacting with Bcl-2.

A neural controller for process control is proposed that combines a conventional PID controller with a neural network. This controller is applied to distillation column control. The modified feedback error learning technique is used for on-line learning. Performance of the controller can be improved using an adequate virtual target output and reference trajectory. The proposed neural controller can cope well with disturbances, strong interactions, and time delays without any prior knowledge of the process.
Shadow Mask GRS 공정에서의 반응수율 향상을 위한 기술개발

In the present study, we developed a methodology to minimize a waste solution produced in the etching process. The condition for the optimization of the GRS process was studied on the basis of laboratory experiment and field test as well as pilot test. Through the study, we analyse the relation of the main process variables and the yield of the GRS process. The application of the new operation condition and the reactor internal modification results in 10% yield improvement in the GRS process and accordingly decreases a wasted solution. 급속한 성장에 따른 디스플레이 산업에서의 생산량 증가는 원료 사용의 증가와 배출액의 증가를 야기하고 있으며 이에 따른 폐액 처리양이 증가되어 환경적, 경제적 문제점을 안고 있다. 본 연구에서는 브라운관 소재인 shadow mask의 식각공정 시 사용한 식각용액의 피로도를 감수시키기 위하여 산화반응을 이용하여 신액 사용량과 구액 배출량을 최소화해주는 GRS(Green Recycling System)공정의 수율을 향상시키기 위해 실험실 및 현장적용 실험을 통하여 공정의 최적화를 하기위한 방법을 연구하였다. 공정변수들과 GRS 공정의 수율과의 관계를 규명하였으며 GRS 반응기의 내부구조 개선으로 인해 약 10%의 수율증가를 확인하였으며 공정의 수율 향상과 최적화에 큰 도움이 되었다.

In order to study on the characteristics of youth plantaries. I collected the foot prints of two-hundred and eighty-eight of boys and three-hundred and four of girls who go to Keum-Ku middle school and the attached high school the Chon Buk National Teacher's college, are 12 to 17 years old, by a stratified sample method, measured and analyzed foot length, foot width, heel width, foot area, hallux angle, arch angle, toe angle, heel angle. As a result, I reached at the conclusion as followings : 1. We can see the development of foot length as their ages grow. 2. According to ages, foot width and foot area enlarge. 3. As their ages grow, foot length is developed more than foot width, and foot types incline to a crosspiece type on an A-frame. 4. As their ages grow, heel width of the boys enlarges, but that of the girls remains unchanged. 5. Hallux angle and toe angle hardly change from 12 to 18 years. 6. Arch angle becomes smaller as their ages grow. 7. Heel angle enlarges in the middle school days but in the high school days becomes slenderized. 8. Relatively, normal angled foot incline to flat foot. For one wit middle angled foot and obtuse angled foot, a good method of precaution should be devised. 9. In the length, 64.24% of the boys and 67.43% of the girls have the longest Digitus pedis Ⅰ. 10. Foot length, height and age, or foot width and weight have deep relation to each other. 11. I propose that we need to study constantly for a rational footwear production of all the people for all kinds of footwears have an influence on foot types.
