This paper introduces an efficient method to manufacture the hollow composite insulator that has been reviewed by several simulations in the previous paper. The core processes are comprised briefly and the electrical and mechanical performance were examined according to the IEC standards. As a result, the specimen passed the IEC standards on electrical/mechanical tests in satisfactory. Furthermore, several material tests will be performed on the specimen such as FRP-tube and silicone rubber. Comprehensive approach followed by the test results would give feasible hollow composite insulator compliable to the IEC standards.

Electronic warfare Support(ES) system measures pulse characteristics for received RF signals that received from all directions. ES system discriminates the pulse trains that have a rule, correlationship, continuance from collected data and analyze the characteristics of the data, and identify the emitters by comparison with emitter identification data (EID). Because pulse density is very high and various signal source exists at modem signal environments, high-speed and accurate signal analysis is needed for realtime countermeasure to emitters. Grouping alleviates the load of signal analysis process and supports reliable analysis. In this paper, we suggest an adaptive clustering scheme regarding signal patterns.

Insulators which are used in the domestic electrical industries are mostly depended on importation from some advance countries. Even though insulators which are made of ceramic material have been mostly used domestically, the ratio of usage on composite insulators is recently being increased because of difficulties in manufacturing and high cost regarding ceramic stuffs. In this research, we are trying to develop the composite insulators which are very efficient in insulation regardless of the matter of weight. Even though the technique of manufacturing composite insulator are quite generalized worldwide at the moment, one of the most important issue is to keep security on the know-how that an ingredient of insulated material named ‘SF6 gas’ is included. Therefore, The aim of this paper is to improve the bonding force and air tight property between two components of composite insulator, Flange and FRP Tube.

Insulators which are used in the electrical industries are mostly made with porcelain(ceramic). But in these days the usage on composite insulators has increased steadily, because of its work convenience and stability. One of the most important issues for composite insulators is to keep airtight about an ingredient of insulated material named ‘SF<SUB>6</SUB> gas’ is included inside. Therefore bonding and combination among the composite insulators components is important factor to make insulators. The aim of this paper is to improve the bonding force and air tight properties between two components of composite insulator, Flange and FRP Tube through the optimum design.

Composite insulators are rapidly replacing their porcelain counterparts in electrical substation applications. The composite insulator provide technical and safety ad vantages over other types of insulator. These insulators consist of a FRP(Fiber-reinforced polymer), with two metal flanges and silicone rubber. In this paper, we have investigated the influence of electric field different shaped silicone shed under SF. gas. As a result, shape of silicone rubber does not effected a electric field. However, the shape of shed can be decided the creepage distance.

A plants generator system under operating condition has been suffered the vibration from the excitation force with 120Hz. The vibration is generated in the stator end windings. For analyze dynamic characteristics of the generators stator, its finite element model were obtained using ANSYS software package for modal and harmonic analysis. we compare the analysis result with experimental data. The results show that the resonance frequency, which is related with second ecliptical mode on the stator end windings 129Hz. The experimental results are good agreement with the FEA model.

The exterior of composite bushing(important component of extra-high voltage equipment) is made of silicone. Therefore, the silicone parts are easily damaged from birds and rodents or bring about tearing on passage unlike porcelain bushings. Also, silicone sheds made at high temperature there can be some bubble in the process of stiffening. In this case, silicone sheds are made repairs with such manufacturer’s small molds but this way incurring a long haul and a needless bother to send a bushing from site to factory. In this paper, we suggest way to fix sheds of bushing directly at site after repairing through degradation testing we checked bushing’s condition.
