As a public transit playing an important role in the era of high gas prices subway corresponds the national strategy 'Low carbon Green growth'; accordingly passengers who would use the transportation are steadily increasing. Subway operators are required to provide subway users with services based on higher-quality system safety convenience & high reliability level. Furthermore as the legally allowed maximum life time of EMUs is extended it is necessary to localize & standardize the parts of EMUs. This paper presents a modelling of systematic EMU(SR001) manufacturing technique which enables us to reflect passenger and subway operator's demands in the whole EMU manufacturing process from the initial design phase to its completion by making full use of the know-how based on subway operators' experiences. SR001 enabled SMRT's staffs to participate in the EMU design & its equipment manufacturing; consequently it realized the innovative system which meets passengers' requirements. Moreover the process lead time was reduced dramatically. The result of this research will be helpful in providing useful guidelines for railway industry policy and development making in Korea.
용사 코팅된 스틸바의 트라이볼로지적 특성의 형상학적 관찰

제철공장의 소결대차 스틸바의 내열성, 내마모성, 내부식성 등의 성질을 향상시키기 위하여 용사코팅을 적용한 연구가 진행되었다. 약 700℃의 고온환경에서 내열, 내마모, 부식 등에 노출되어 있는 스틸의 표면에 Al₂O₃, Cr₂O₃, WC 코팅을 적용하여 국부적으로 고온내마모성, 내식성, 내열성, 내열충격성등을 향상시킴으로써 기존 제강공정에서 사용되는 스틸바의 수명을 향상시켰다. 스틸바에 적용한 금속용사 코팅층에 대하여 고온내마모시험, 열충격시험, 내부식시험을 수행하였다. 코팅층의 물리적, 화학적, 기계적 특성이 코팅이 안된 재료에 비해 매우 우수하였다. Plasma coatings have been conducted to improve the mechanical properties of thermal resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock with respect to Great-Bar which is used as a carrier device for ironstone sintering under 700℃. The surface coatings on the upper side of the Great-Bar exposed on extreme environments of high temperature, severe wear, corrosion and thermal shock extended the life time due to the barrier coating layer. Al₂O₃, Cr₂O₃, WC coatings were applied to Great-Bar and their mechanical and chemical properties are analyzed by several experimental tests such as thermal resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal shock resistance. It shows excellent advantages with respect to wear, thermal shock and corrosion.

모든 지하철 운영기관에서는 전동차를 완벽하게 정비하기 위하여 정비시설을 갖추고 있다. 경정비를 시행하는 검사고, 중정비를 시행할수 있는 중정비 공장을 보유하고 있으며 중정비 공장의 경우에는 각 운영기관별로 중정비주기에 따라 일정기간별로 사용하다 보니 시설 활용도가 낮은 편이다. 최근에는 정비주기를 늘려서 시행하는 추세에 따라 중정비 공장 활용에 여유가 생기게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 서울도시철도공사가 운영하는 전동차를 기준으로 중정비 공장의 시설장비를 활용하여 새로운 전동차를 조립ㆍ제작하는 방안에 대하여 연구하였다. However, it is true that the heavy maintenance facilities are not utilized 100% with the recent trend of lengthening maintenance cycle(intervals). With the fact, this enabled the existing maintenance facilities to be utilized for other purposes. By taking advantage of spare facilities and the maintenance staff with rolling stock assembly abilities. subway operators can assemble rolling stock by procuring parts for the assembly instead of purchasing trains from other companies. It is estimated that this will enhance the operator’s technology and have a great impact on the management skill as well. This study attempts to find out how the heavy maintenance factory can be utilized for rolling stock assembly.

An important problem in reliability analysis for repairable systems is to model the maintenance effect. The most of researches have assumed two extreme cases; one is perfect maintenance and the other is minimal maintenance. There is a existing study dealing with the case that the effect of preventive maintenances to restore the door system is imperfect. When the effect of the preventive maintenance is imperfect, we need to consider the maintenance effect for making reliable and economical maintenance policies. The maintenance policies applicable for imperfect maintenance cases are considered and their effectiveness are evaluated through simulation in cases of passenger door system:PDS.
