        천연 피레트린을 이용한 긴수염버섯파리 연막 방제

        Lycoriella ingenua causes severe damage to the artificial sawdust beds used to cultivate mushroom, and reduce the production of button mushroom, Agaricus bisporus, in greenhouses. However, the chemical insecticides is difficult to control because of pesticides residue, pesticide resistance and many side effects. We sprayed pyrethrin from Tanacetum cinerariifolium with a heating mist fogger system for the environment-friendly natural insecticide development which can replace chemical insecticides. As a result, the fatality and knock-down phenomenon of dark-winged fungus gnats tend to increase as the concentration of the extract increases gradually. Control (only water) had a fatality rate of 0%, 25 fold (132 ppm) showed the fatality rate increased by about 46% compared with the control. Pyrethrum extract (3300 ppm) and 3 fold (1100 ppm) had 100% fatality rates, all the flies died.

        노랑쐐기나방과 장수쐐기나방에 대한 곤충병원성 선충의 병원성

        Recently the damage has increased not only fruit trees and flowers but also landscape trees, street trees and garden trees as the density of Monema flavescens and Latoia consocia increases. If stinging hairs of the larva or adult is touched the workers body, it is causesd inflammation and pain, in addition to plant damage. However the only insecticide is the chlorantraniliprole which is registered for the Monema flavescens in japanese apricots. Although many farmers use neem oil, Sophora flavescens, effective micro organisms, pyroligneous liquor, etc. the environmentally friendly control measure, it can not satisfy them with its low effectiveness. We tested the insecticidal property of Steinernema carpocapsae GSN1 strain (ScG) and Heterorhabditis sp. Gyeongsan strain (HsG) separated in Korea to control larvae of M. flavescens and L. consocia. As a result, ScG can effectively control larvae of M. flavescens and L. consocia with 10 concentration and at 6 PM in July.

        Spin dynamics of magnetic tunnel junctions with free and fixed reference layers is investigated by ferromagnetic resonance micromagnetic simulations. First, in magnetic tunnel junctions with an exchange biased synthetic ferrimagnetic reference layer, a magnetization direction of each layer and the tunneling magnetoresistance are calculated for a DC magnetic field. To investigate the spin exciting modes in magnetic tunnel junctions, we simulate the ferromagnetic resonance frequency spectra with small RF magnetic fields. Exciting modes of the tunneling magnetoresistance calculated by an included angle between free and reference layers is interpreted from those of each layer. Spin exciting modes are different according to a signs of the DC magnetic field. In a negative magnetic field, FMR frequency spectra of free and reference layers are well elucidated by the modified Kittel’s equation. However, in a positive magnetic field, there is no simple analytic solution related to FMR frequency spectra due to the coupled modes. Since ferromagnetic layers in magnetic tunnel junctions are interactive each other, careful considerations of the reference and fixed layer as well as the free layer are required for understanding on the spin dynamics of magnetic tunnel junctions with an exchange biased synthetic ferrimagnetic reference layer.

        국화재배지에 발생하는 꽃노랑총채벌레의 발육단계별 약제 감수성

        This study was carried out to investigate insecticidal susceptibility of 10 registered insecticides to western flower thrips, Frankliniella occidentalis, which damage chrysanthemum in the Changwon area. Bioassays were conducted under laboratory by using collected thrips in chrysanthemum cultivation. Among them the insecticides containing benfuracarb and chlorfenapyr that showed 100% adults mortality 1 day after treatment. The larvae died 94-100% in insecticides containing benfuracarb, chlorfenapyr and emamectin benzoate. The pupae died 94-100% in insecticides containing benfuracarb, chlorfenapyr and spinetoram. It is important to use alternately insecticides benfuracarb, chlorfenapyr, emamectin benzoate and spinetoram to spray it sufficiently on above-ground part and subterranean of chrysanthemums for efficient control of western flower thrips that occur in Changwon area.

        시설재배 국화에서 총채벌레의 종 동정 및 보독 바이러스 동시 검출을 위한 다중 진단법 적용

        이번 연구는 국화에서 문제되는 총채벌레의 종 동정 및 보독 바이러스인 토마토반점위조바이러스(Tomato spotted wilt virus, TSWV)를 동시에 확인할 수 있는 진단방법을 개발하였다. 이는 총채벌레 1마리에서 추출한 핵산에 꽃노랑총채벌레및 대만총채벌레의 ITS2 부분에 특이적인 프라이머와 TSWV 외피단백질(N) 유전자 특이적인 프라이머를 동시에 넣어 reverse tran scription‒polymerase chain reaction을 수행하여 DNA를증폭시키는 방법으로 전기영동하여 각각 287, 367, 777 bp의DNA 단편의 크기를 비교함으로써 총채벌레의 종 동정 및 총채벌레의 TSWV 보독 여부를 동시에 확인할 수 있다. 충청남도 태안 및 경상남도 창원의 국화 시설하우스에서 총채벌레를 포집하여 총채벌레 우점종과 총채벌레의 TSWV 보독율을 조사한결과, 태안의 국화 시설하우스에서는 꽃노랑총채벌레가 83.7% 로 우점하고 있으며 채집된 총채벌레 중 72.9%가 TSWV를 보독하고 있었으며, 창원에서는 꽃노랑총채벌레가 92.2%를 차지하고 있으며 84.0%의 총채벌레에서 TSWV가 진단되었다. 이러한결과는 Frankliniella occidentalis가 우점종이며 온실의 국화 식물에서 TSWV의 전반에 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 확인해준다. 이번 연구는 국화 시설하우스에서 총채벌레를 통한 TSWV 의 시설하우스내 유입시기 및 확산 경로 등 바이러스의 역학연구를 위한 간편진단법으로 활용 가능함을 예시해준다. We have developed a simultaneous diagnostic method that can identify both the species of thrips and tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) that are problematic in chrysanthemum plants. This is a method of amplifying DNA by performing reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction by simultaneously adding primers specific to TSWV coat protein (N) gene and primers specific to the internal transcribed spacer 2 region of Frankliniella occidentalis and F. intonsa using total nucleic acid extracted from one thrips. The sizes of DNA fragments for TSWV, F. occidentalis, and F. intonsa were 777, 287, and 367 bp, respectively. These results showed species identification of thrips and whether thrips carrying TSWV can be simultaneously confirmed. Further usefulness of the simultaneous diagnostic method was made from greenhouse survey at chrysanthemum greenhouses in Taean (Chungcheongnam-do) and Changwon (Gyeongsangnam-do) to investigate the identification of thrips species and the rate of thrips carrying TSWV. Of thrips collected from the greenhouses, 83.7% thrips was F. occidentalis and 72.9% F. occidentalis carried TSWV in Taean. Similarly, the diagnostic method showed that 92.2% thrips was F. occidentalis and 84.0% F. occidentalis carried TSWV in Changwon. These results confirm that F. occidentalis is a dominant thrips species and the thrips species plays a crucial role in the transmission of TSWV in chrysanthemum plants in the greenhouses. Taken together, this study showed a simple diagnostic method for thrips identification and epidemiological studies of the timing and spread of TSWV through thrips in chrysanthemum greenhouses in South Korea.

        미세자기 동역학을 이용한 강자성 나노선의 자기 잡음 연구

        We investigate the spin dynamics of the magnetic domain wall using the magnetic noise in the magnetic nanowire structure by employing micromagnetic simulations. Magnetic noise due to the thermal fluctuations in ferromagnetic materials is related to magnetic susceptibility and resonance frequency, which are important physical quantities in the study of the spin dynamics. In this study, we present the magnetic noise of the single domain without magnetic domain wall, and with the magnetic domain wall between two magnetic domains in ferromagnetic nanowires. It is confirmed that the Kittel equation with simple ellipsoid model with demagnetizing factor well describe the resonance frequency due to magnetic noise of the single domain. Besides, we find that there is a distinguishable additional resonance frequency, when a magnetic domain wall exists. It is verified that the additional resonance frequency is originated from the magnetic domain wall, and it is lower than one of the single domain. It implies that the spins inside the domain wall have a different effective field.

        The recent tendency in the automobile industries is toward light weighting vehicle body to improve the<br/> problems by environmental pollution as well as improving fuel cost. The effective way to reduce the weight<br/> of vehicle body seems to be application of new materials for body structure and such trend is remarkable.<br/> Among the various materials for vehicle body, stainless steel sheet (for example, 301L and 304L), TRIP steel<br/> and cold rolled steel sheets are under the interests. However, in order to guarantee reliability of new material<br/> and to establish the long life design criteria of body structure, it is important and require condition to assess<br/> spot weldability of them and fatigue strength of spot welded lap joints which were fabricated under optimized<br/> spot welding condition. And, recently, a new issue in the design of the spot welded structure is to predict<br/> economically fatigue design criterion without additional fatigue tests. In general, for fatigue design of the<br/> spot-welded thin sheet structure, additional fatigue tests according to the welding condition, material, joint<br/> type, and fatigue loading condition are generally required. This indicates that much cost and time for it should<br/> be consumed. Therefore, in this paper, the maximum stresses at nugget edge of spot weld were calculated<br/> through nonlinear finite element analysis first. And next, obtained the f N P . . relation through the actual<br/> fatigue tests on spot welded lap joints of similar and dissimilar high strength steel sheets. And then, the<br/> relation was rearranged in the Δ f N P . . σ- N f relation. From this Δ σ - N f relation, developed the<br/> fatigue design technology for spot welded lap joints of them welded using the optimized welding conditions.

        국내 양송이버섯 재배 중 발생하는 버섯파리류 분자생물학적 종 동정

        버섯파리는 국내 양송이 균상 재배지에서 발생하여 버섯 균사와 자실체를 가해하고 간접적으로는 병을 매개하여 피해는 해마다 증가하고 있다. 부여군 세도면, 보령시 성주면, 용인시 남사면, 칠곡군 약목면 등 총 4개 지역의 버섯 재배사에서 끈끈이트랩을 이용하여 채집한 버섯파리 성충을 DNA barcoding 방법으로 Cytochrome Oxidase I (COI)의 염기서열 분석을 통해 종 동정을 실시하였다. 그 결과 4개 조사지역의 양송이에서 발생하는 버섯파리는 모두 긴수염버섯파리(Lycoriella ingenua)로 동정되었다. The dark-winged fungus gnats are one of the most serious fly pests attacking the mushroom cultivation in Korea. They cause severe damage to the artificial sawdust beds used to cultivate mushroom, and reduce the production of button mushroom, Agaricus bisporus, in greenhouses. In this study, we collected nine species of the mushroom flies in order to identify the dominant species of the dark-winged fungus gnat attacking the A. bisporus plantation using the yellow sticky trap in Buyeo-gun, Boryeong-gun, Yongin-si and Chilgok-gun from April to June 2015. The collected samples were used to determine the DNA sequence of the cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (COI) of the nine different species by DNA barcoding. The sequencing results showed that Lycoriella ingenua was the dominant dark-winged fungus gnat species destroying A. bisporus cultivated on the artificial sawdust beds in Korea.

        눈물샘에 발생한 일차성 피지샘암 1예

        Purpose: To report a case of very limited primary sebaceous carcinoma of the lacrimal gland that soon recurred and rapidly progressed after excision and radiotherapy. Methods: A 67-year-old man presented to our clinic with a history of proptosis in his right eye for 1 month. On physical examination, 4mm exophthalmos and a palpable mass at the superotemporal area of the lacrimal gland without tenderness were noted in his right eye. The eyelid was entirely normal on examination. A CT scan was taken which showed a heterogenous mass in the lacrimal gland area. We performed surgical excision and biopsy of the mass through lateral orbitotomy. Results: Primary sebaceous carcinoma of the lacrimal gland was diagnosed pathologically. A 63-Gy electron beam was irradiated for 6 weeks. Five months after the operation, a large mass was again palpable at the superotemporal orbital area. MRI revealed recurrence of the sebaceous carcinoma and its metastasis to the brain. Systemic metastasis in multiple organs was noted on PET scan. Conclusions: As primary sebaceous carcinoma of the lacrimal gland has a very poor prognosis, aggressive treatment such as exenteration should be considered, and a CT scan should be taken early on to find any recurrence or metastasis.

        병변 내 OK-432 주입술을 통한 안와림프관종의 치료 1예

        Purpose: To report the first domestic case of orbital lymphangioma treated with intralesional OK-432 injection. Methods: Initial treatment with systemic corticosteroid had failed. After aspirating the blood, we injected OK-432 (0.05 mg) into the cystic space of the orbital lymphangioma. Results: Although there were minor complications, such as fever and mild tenderness, the patient had an uneventful recovery. After 6 weeks, her visual axis was restored. Conclusions: We successfully treated this infant patient with an intralesional OK-432 injection. Based on this success, we suggest that treatment of orbital lymphangioma which is refractory to conservative treatment and difficult to resect, may include an intralesional OK-432 injection.
