교사 자율성, 교사 협력과 전문성 개발의 관계에서 그릿과 교직 열정의 매개효과

본 연구의 목적은 교사 자율성, 교사 협력, 그릿, 교직 열정과 전문성 개발의 관계를 파악하고, 그릿과 교직 열정이 교사 자율성, 교사 협력과 전문성 개발 사이에서 매개역할을 하는지 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 전국에 재직 중인 초등교사 312명을 대상으로 설문지를 수집하였다. 확인적 요인분석을 실시하고 구조방정식 모형을 분석한 결과 수집된 자료는 모형에 잘 부합하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과에 나타난 표준화 경로계수를 살펴보면 교사 자율성은 그릿과 교직 열정을 모두 정적으로 예측하였으며, 교사 협력은 교직 열정을 정적으로 예측하였다. 또한 그릿과 교직 열정의 하위요인인 강박열정은 전문성 개발을 정적으로 예측하였다. 마지막으로 교사 자율성에서 그릿을 거쳐 전문성 개발로 가는 경로의 간접효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 나타나 교사 자율성과 전문성 개발의 관계에서 그릿이 매개함을 확인하였다. 본 결과를 통해 교사의 자율성을 지지하고 협력적 분위기를 만들 수 있는 교직 문화를 조성할 필요가 있으며, 교사들이 교육에 대한 목적의식과 열정을 가질 수 있도록 지원할 필요가 있음을 알 수 있다. In this study, we explored the relationship between teacher autonomy, collaboration with teachers, grit, passion for teaching (i.e. harmonious vs. obsessive), and professional development. In addition, we examined whether grit and passion for teaching play a mediating role between teacher autonomy, teacher collaboration and professional development. A survey was conducted on 312 elementary school teachers working across the country. As a result of confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model, the data fit the model. Examining the standardized path coefficients of the hypothesized research model, teacher autonomy positively predicted grit and passion for teaching. Teacher collaboration positively predicted passion for teaching. Grit and obsessive passion directly and positively predicted professional development. In addition, the indirect effect in the path of teacher autonomy to professional development via grit was found to be significant, confirming that grit mediates the relationship between teacher autonomy and professional development. This result shows that it is necessary to support teachers' autonomy and create a culture that can promote a cooperative environment, and it is important for teachers to have a sense of purpose and passion for teaching.

Paraquat 처리에 의한 Bacillus megaterium의 Superoxide dismutase 활성저해

The effect of paraquat (1, 1'-dimethyl-4,4'-dipyridilium dichloride) treatment on activity of microbial superoxide dismutase(SOD), a key enzyme which protects the organism from toxicity of oxygen, was investigated. Exponentially growing cells of Bαcillus megaterium(ATCC 1987) were treated with 1.OmM paraquat by cultivation in the concomitant presence of the paraquat. Paraquat-treated culture showed a linear decrease in turbidity, cellular weight and vidable cell counts while those of control culture showed a linear increase until nine hours of cultivation. After nine hours of cultivation, turbidity(0.68), dry cell weight(1.19mg/ml) and viable cell counts(5.0×19?cells/ml) of the treated culture reached to approximately 62%, 83% and 4% of those of initial, respectively. Paraquat-treated culture(in vivo) showed a SOD activity of 0.68unit/ml and a specific activity of 1.79unit/mg protein after nine hours of cultivation. These values were equel to 22% and 44% of the control culture, respectively. When enzymes were liberated from sonic-disruptured cells(in vitro) by orderly using of sodium phosphate buffer, buffered lysoyme and triton X-100, paraguat-treated culture showed an increased activity of the engyme, while control culture did not show any significant increase of the enzyme activity. Activities of SOD drastically decreased as increasing the paraquat concentration in the crude enzyme lysate, although protein content was not significantly varied. The lysate dissolved 1.0mM paraquat showed a specific activity of SOD decreased to 45% of control lysate. It was noticed that the decreasing rate was approximately similar to that of the lysate prepared from paraquat-treated cells.
