The nutritive value of food is the fundamental and principal need for the food administration, nutritional education, dietary clinic and nutritional survey and various projects.<br/> The nutritive values for 527 kinds of korean foods have been analyzed at this laboratory from 1961 to 1982. In this paper the additional 30 kinds of korean foods are reported for their proximate composition, minerals and vitamins.
異常環境下의 營養問題硏究(第 3 報) : 振動이 成長및 代謝에 미치는 影響 Influence of Vibration on Growth and Metabolism

In this third report influence of vibration on growth and on some metabolism of young growing rats fed on varying levels of protein was investigated. Forty eight (48) young growing male rats weighing about 60 grams were used, grouping to four (4) groups, twelve (12) rats each gourp. They were fed on 8%, 13%, 19%, and 26% casein diet respectively (See the table 1) for the period of 10 weeks experiment. During the experimental period the half number of the rats of each group were subjected to a given degree of vibration for wto (2) hours daily. Observations for growth rate, food and protein efficiency ratios, organs development, cholesterol levels in aorta, total nitrogen, urea nitrogen and creatinine levels in urine may be summarized as follows. 1. Growth was impaired by the vibration in all groups including 26% easein diet. 2. There is tendeney that in higher protein diets, the organs (See table 3) developed more well. And also the impairment of the organs development by the vibrtion revealed less in higher protein diets. 3. Food and protein efficiency ratios were generally decreased under vibration and the food efficiency was improved by increasing the protein level in diet. 4. Total and free cholesteral levels in aorta were increased by the vibration. Ester from/tatal ratio was 17.7% and 17.3% respectively at 8% and 13% protein diets and 54.8% and 54.2% at 19% and 26% protein diets. These show that, in higher protein diets, the vibration doesn't influence the cholesterol ratio. 5. Total nitrogen, urea nirogen and creatinine levels in urine were increased by increasing the protion level in diet a and also increased by the vibration. 6. It seems that, according to the above observations, the vibration used in this experiment influenced, in certain extent, on physical development, physiological availability of nutrients, and on body metabloiam . And it is also though that higher protein diets act some good role in protecting body from suffering from vibration.

혈청 cholesterol량은 비단 식사의 성분에 의하여 영향 받을 뿐만이 아니라 개체의 주위환경조건에 따라서도 많은 영향을 받을 것으로 사려 되기 때문에 진동이 혈청 cholesterol량에 미치는 영향과 또한 제1보 때와 마찬가지로 Caesin, 비타민류, α-Tocopherol, 인삼분말 등의 방호효과도 아울러 검토하였기에 결과를 다음과 같이 결론한다. 1. Basal diet군(백미식군)은 각 첨가군에 비하여 Serum cholesterol량이 낮다. 그러나 인삼첨가군의 Serum cholesterol량이 타군에 비하여 가장 낮은 것은 흥미로운 점이다. 2. 단백질첨가군, 비타민류 첨가군 및 α-Tocopherol 첨가군의 Serum cholesterol량은 Basal diet군의 그것보다 현저히 높다. 3. α-Tocopherol 첨가군을 제외하고 다른 모든 군의 경우 진동군이 비진동군에 비해서 Serum cholesterol량이 현저히 높다. 4. α-Tocopherol 첨가군의 경우에는 진동군과 비진동군 간에 별 차이가 없는 것으로 보아 α-Tocopherol은 진동으로부터의 Serum cholesterol량 변화를 막아주는 것으로 사려 된다.
