상용 해석 소프트웨어를 이용한 접촉문제의 효과적 해석 및 최적 지지점 설계

본 논문에서는 자중이 작용하는 적층판의 변위를 최소화하는 지지봉의 개수와 위치의 최적화를 다루고 있다. 자중이 작용하는 적층판의 해석 수행 시 적층판과 지지봉, 적층판들 사이에 접촉이 발생한다. 이러한 접촉문제는 상용 해석 소프트웨어의 접촉 요소를 사용하면 쉽게 접근 할 수 있으나 상용 해석 소프트웨어는 여러 가지 접촉 상황을 모두 고려해야 하므로 효율이 떨어지며, 특정 접촉문제에서는 아주 긴 해석 시간을 요구한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상용 해석 소프트웨어의 접촉해석 기능 대신 선형해석 기능만을 사용하되 접촉면에 존재하는 요소들의 관계를 접촉 조건을 이용한 관계식으로 정의하여 해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 상용 해석소프트웨어에서 제공하는 접촉해석과 동일한 결과를 도출하는데 약 30배에 해당하는 시간을 절감하였다. 그리고 이러한 해석 프로그램을 이용하여 지지봉의 개수와 위치에 관한 최적화를 수행하였으며, 그 결과 지지봉의 개수를 40% 절감하였고 그에 따른 지지봉의 최적 위치를 찾을 수 있었다. In this study, an optimum support design problem is considered to minimize displacement of stacked plates under self weight condition. During the displacement analysis, several kinds of contact arise between the plates themselves and support bar. These can be easily considered if commercial analysis software, which provides capability to solve the contact problem, is used. It is found, however, that the computing time is extraordinarily long due possibly to the generality of the software and also to the ignorance of the control parameters used in the software. In this paper, the contact condition is imposed directly by the authors, while the software is used only to solve the ordinary displacement analysis problem. In this way, the computing time is decreased remarkably by more than 30 times, while yielding the same accurate results. Optimization is conducted based on this efficient analysis method to find minimum number of supporting bars using the response surface algorithm.

Angiosarcoma is a highly malignant vascular tumor with an incidence of approximately one per ten million. There are three clinical variants; primary angiosarcoma, which occurs on the head and neck in the elderly; angiosarcoma in areas of chronic lymphedema; and post-irradiation angiosarcoma. Primary angiosarcoma shows variable-sized erythematous to violaceous nodules or plaques that become confluent as the lesion progress. We report a case of primary angiosarcoma of the scalp in a 76-year-old man with focal alopecia. Additional immunohistochemical stains showed perifollicular CD34 dominance, which suggested hair follicle-targeted carcinogenesis. (Korean J Dermatol 2010;48(3):206~208)

Kaposi`s sarcoma (KS) is a multifocal, systemic tumor of an endothelial cell origin and there are four clinical subtypes. Among these clinical subtypes, KS associated with immunosuppressive therapy mainly develops in organ transplant patients as well as in other patients who are receiving immunosuppressants for other reasons. It can occur from 1 month to more than 10 years after starting the agent and it seems to depend on the dose and type of the drug taken. We report here on a case of diffuse cutaneous iatrogenic Kaposi`s sarcoma that was associated with 2 years of oral corticosteroid therapy. The patient`s disease was present as various forms of cutaneous lesions without any systemic involvement. (Korean J Dermatol 2010;48(10):884~888)

Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic cutaneous inflammatory disorder. Dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA) is a sex hormone normally secreted from the adrenal gland and is used to treat various disorders. It decreases in the serum of AD patients and is known to attenuate dust mite-induced airway allergic responses associated with reduced Th2 cytokine. Objective: The authors attempted investigate the effect of DHEA on AD-like skin lesions by reviewing the cytokine profile and specific IgE production in BALB/c mice sensitized with ovalbumin (OVA). Method: Mice were sensitized by intraperitoneal injection of OVA, followed by epicutaneous sensitization for 5 weeks. DHEA was given by the oral route. After all mice were sacrificed at the end of the experiment, skin, spleen tissue and blood were harvested. Result: Gross and histological examinations of skin lesions showed inflammation. The severity was mild or absent in DHEA-ingested mice and the number of inflammatory cells was significantly reduced. The IL-5 levels in the cultured splenocytes significantly decreased in the sensitized mice than in the control group. The IFN-γ/IL-5 ratio significantly increased in the sensitized mice. Conclusion: DHEA ingestion may suppress OVA-induced AD-like skin lesions and prevents the cytokine production of Th2 cells. (Korean J Asthma Allergy Clin Immunol 2009;29:269-276)
