대학생 대상의 디자인 사고 교육이 창의성역량에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 창의성역량의 구성요소는 무엇인지 알아보고, 대학생들에게 디자인 사고 교육을 실행한 후 창의성역량에 유의한 영향을 주었는지에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 창의적 문제해결방법인 디자인 사고 교육을 통하여 급변하는 21세기를 살아가는 대학생들에게 필요한 학습과 혁신스킬인 창의성역량에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보았다. 본 연구에서는 대학생들의 창의성역량 측정을 위해 21세기 핵심역량 측정도구와 근거기반 설계모형(ECD)에 기반하여 개발된 평가문항을 사용하였고, 이 중 창의성을 측정하는 문항들을 발췌하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 1) 대학생의 창의성역량은 창의적 사고역량, 호기심역량, 상상력역량, 유창성역량으로 구성되고, 2) 디자인 사고 교육이 대학생들의 창의성역량에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 디자인 사고 교육 후 창의성역량 평균은 4.67 증가하였으며 이는 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었다. 효과의 크기는 d=1.52로 매우 높은 수준이었으며, 창의성역량의 하위역량의 평균 또한 각각 통계적으로 유의미하게 향상되었음이 나타났다. 이를 종합하여 볼 때, 디자인 사교 교육이 대학생들의 창의성역량에 긍정적인 영향력을 갖는 것으로 해석할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구결과를 기반으로 대학 수업과 과정에서 디자인 사고 교육을 시행하여 대학생들의 창의성역량을 향상시킬 수 있도록 준비할 필요성이 있음을 시사한다. The study intended to identify the components of creativity competency and to obtain implications on whether there was a change in the college students' creativity competency after the design thinking training and what effects it had. In this regard, the effects of the design thinking training on creativity competency, which is the learning and innovative skill necessary for college students living in the rapidly changing 21st century, was explored, and the measuring tool and elements were selected to measure the creativity competency. In this study, it used an evaluation questions developed based on the Core Competency Measurement Tools of the 21st Century and Evidence Centered Design, to measure college students' creativity capabilities. Among them, questions measuring creativity were excerpted and analyzed. The results have shown that 1) the creativity competency visible in design thinking activities can be composed as creative thinking, curiosity, imagination, and fluency, and 2) the design thinking training significantly influenced creativity competency of college students. After the design thinking training, the average creative capacity increased by 4.67, which was significantly improved statistically. The magnitude of the effect was very high at d=1.52, and the average of the sub-capabilities of creativity was also shown to have improved statistically significantly, respectively. In summary, the design thinking training can be construed as having a positive effect on the college students' creativity competencies. Therefore, we can encourage teaching and learning through the design thinking in the college courses.
