        바롬인성교육에 나타난 사회혁신가 자질 요소 분석

        최근 사회문제해결을 위한 새로운 접근 방식으로서 사회혁신에 대한 관심이 증가하면서 사회혁신의 주체로서 대학이 주목받고 있다. 서울여자대학교 바롬인성교육은 개교 이래 60 여 년 간 ‘사회적 가치 실현에 기여하는 인재 양성’의 목표를 필수 교육과정으로 구현해왔다. 본 연구의 목적은 바롬인성교육의 역사적 변천 과정을 살펴보고, 교육과정에 나타난 사회혁신가 자질 요소를 분석하여 오늘날 대학에서의 사회혁신교육 실천에 주는 함의를 고찰하는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 바롬인성교육에 대한 대학의 공식출판도서와 연구보고서 등 6권의 문헌을 채택하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 바롬인성교육은 단계별로 시대적 요구를 반영하여 사회에 기여하는 인재 양성이라는 교육철학이 담긴 교육과정과 실천 중심의 사회문제해결 수업을 통해 사회변 화에 실제적으로 기여해왔음을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 질적 분석 방법인 주제 분석(Thematic Analysis) 결과, ‘협력적 자기이해’, ‘협력적 자기관리’, ‘공동체의식’, ‘공감과 의사소통’, ‘종합적 문제해결능력’, ‘시민의식’, ‘리더십’의 총 7개의 사회 혁신가 자질 요소가 도출되어 바롬인성교육 과정에서 사회혁신교육으로서의 특징이 잘 드러나 있음을 확인했다. 본 연구는 대학이 사회혁신교육을 수행함에 있어서 단계적이고 장기적인 학생 성장 목표를 가지고 교육을 편성하고, 학교 전체가 사회혁신교육의 환경을 조성해야 하고, 이를 위해서는 구성원들의 합의와 정서적 지지, 학교 차원에서의 행⋅재정적 지원이 뒷받침되어야 한다는 시사점을 제시하였다. Recently, there has been a growing interest in social innovation serving as a new approach to social problem solving, and universities have gained much attention as social innovation actors. Since its establishment, Seoul Women’s University has been implementing Bahrom Character Education curricula as required courses, with the educational goal of “raising talents contributing to social value realization.” The purpose of this study is to examine the historical changes of Bahrom Character Education, to analyze the social innovator attributes from the curricula, and to investigate its implications on the social innovation education practices of today’s universities. To meet this end, the six major publications and research reports on ‘Bahrom Character Education’ were selected and analyzed. The findings convinced us that (1) each stage of Bahrom Character Education reflected the needs of the era, (2) the educational philosophy of “raising talents contributing to society” were embedded in the curricula, and that (3) action-oriented social problem solving courses helped the students to contribute to authentic social changes. Moreover, thematic analysis highlighted seven social innovator attributes: ‘collaborative self-understanding’, ‘collaborative self-management’, ‘sense of community’, ‘empathy and communication’, ‘comprehensive problem solving ability’, ‘citizenship’, and ‘leadership’, all of which shows that the curricula of Bahrom Character Education include key characteristics of social innovation education. The current study suggests that universities should make step-by-step as well as long-term growth goals for social innovation education and that the whole campus should establish social innovation education-friendly environments. However, in order to accomplish this, all university members should come to a consensus about the matter, and further provide psycho-social, administrative and financial support at the school level.

        학교환경이 인권감수성에 미치는 영향에 대한 중,고등학생 비교

        This study aims to test the impacts of the school environment on middle and high school students’ human rights sensitivity. For this purpose, 640 students from eight middle and high schools located in Seoul were surveyed. Due to their developmental characteristics of human rights sensitivity, the data were analyzed dividing the subjects into two groups, a middle school students’ group and a high school students’ group. Using paired t-test and regression analysis, this study examined the difference of students’ human rights sensitivity and their perception of school environment between the two groups, and the impacts of the school environment on their human rights sensitivity. The test results of the impacts of the school environment on their human rights sensitivity showed that ‘school climate’ and ‘teacher climate’ had great impacts on the middle school students while ‘school climate’ and ‘classroom climate’ had impacts on the high school students, so it was found that influencing factors of human rights sensitivity were different between middle school and high school students. Particularly, the current study found that the direction of an influencing factor was different between the two groups, reporting a negative impact of ‘school climate’ by middle school students and a positive impact by high school students. This study raised the importance of human rights friendly environment in human rights education by attempting a study on human rights sensitivity from the ‘person-in-environment’ perspective and provided foundational knowledge necessary for creating human rights friendly school environment by identifying influencing factors applied to different school levels by separating middle school students’ group and high school students’ group.

        중학생의 분노수준이 분노표현방식에 미치는 영향: 친인권적 교실문화의 조절효과 검증

        The purpose of this research is to explore the correlation between the level of anger (State anger, Trait anger) and the way to express the anger (Anger-out, Anger-in, Anger-control) among middle school students and to examine the moderating effects of the human-rights-friendly classroom culture on the variables: mutual respect between a teacher and students, mutual respect between students and students, and the democratic decision making process in class. 505 students ranged from 1 grade to 3 grade middle school located in Seoul responded to the survey and data was analyzed by SPSS 18.0. The finding exhibited that the group with the high level of both State anger and Trait anger showed the high level of Anger-out and Anger-in. On the other hand, the group with the high level of Trait anger showed the low level of Anger-control in comparison with the group with the low level of Trait anger. Also, in terms of the relationship between the level of anger and the way to express anger among students, the human-rights-friendly classroom culture had a significant moderating effect on the group with mutual respect between a teacher and students. Based on these findings, it is recommended to build up desirable school environments by providing interventions of individuals and the environmental system to middle school students.

        신변보호담당관을 통해 본 북한이탈주민의 지역사회 정착 장애요인과 신변보호담당관의 업무부담 : 개인적 요인들을 중심으로

        본 연구는 북한이탈주민들이 지역사회에 정착하는데 어려움을 주는 개인적 장애요인들을 확인하고 이들이 신변보호담당과의 업무부담과 어떤 관련성을 가지고 있는지 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 북한이탈주민들의 인식, 태도, 행동에 어떠한 변화를 도모해야 하며 어떤 사회적 기술 습득을 지원해야 하는지 파악하여, 북한이탈주민들의 변화를 위한 서비스 및 프로그램 개발에 기초자료를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 북한이탈주민들이 갖는 개인적 장애요인들은 그들의 신변보호를 담당하고 있는 신변보호담당관을 통하여 확인하였다. 북한이탈주민이 갖고 있는 장애요인을 확인하기 위한 20개 항목을 구성하여 148명의 신변보호담당관을 대상으로 설문조사 한 후 요인분석을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 자립능력, 생활태도, 사회문화적 적응, 신변보호담당관의 지원에 대한 태도 관련 요인들이 확인되었다. 분석 결과, 자립능력 관련 요인이 가장 큰 장애요인이 되고 있었으며, 4개 요인들은 서로 높은 상관관계를 가지고 있었다. 장애요인들 중 사회문화적 적응 관련 요인만이 북한이탈주민의 지역정착기간이 길어짐에 따라 향상되었고 다른 요인들은 변화를 보이지 않았다. 또한 네 가지 장애요인과 신변보호담당관이 지각하는 신변보호 업무량, 업무난이도, 신변보호담당관과 북한이탈주민과의 관계성을 분석하였는데, 생활태도와 자립능력 관련 요인이 신변보호담당관의 업무부담에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있었다. 이를 근거로 북한이탈주민의 인식, 태도, 행동 변화를 위한 전략이 논의되었다. The present study is to identify personal factors of defecting North Korean residents that obstruct their settlement in South Korean communities. It will provide information about what perception, attitude and behaviors of defecting North Korean residents should be changed and what social skills should be improved in order to successfully adjust to South Korea. Personal obstacles were measured by police officers who are providing special protection for defecting North Korean residents, who are in a good position to observe behaviors of defecting North Korean residents because they are spending a great deal of time with them. They can even identify the personal obstacles not perceived by defecting North Korean residents themselves. Twenty-item scale was developed to measure the personal obstacles and was found to comprise 4 obstructing factors: self-supporting ability related factor, life style related factor, social and cultural adaptation related factor, and attitude toward police officer's support related factor. Among them, self-supporting ability related factor had the highest negative score. The study further revealed that self-support ability and life style related factors had a significant effect on the job burden of police officers. The findings suggested the necessity of ethical and moral education for the defecting North Korean residents.

        청소년들의 자원봉사인식의 변화와 관련 변인 탐색

        This longitudinal study was intended to enhance adolescents` perceptions of volunteering activities by investigating the change in the middle school students` perceptions of volunteering activities and its correlates from 2005 to 2007. This study used Korea Educational Longitudinal study of 2005 (KELS 2005) which was composed of 6,908 students that were obtained using a stratified cluster random sampling method from 703,914 middle school students in South Korea in 2005. Variables that were related to students` perceptions of volunteering activities were gender, altruism, social responsibility (civil consciousness), participation in extracurricular volunteering activities. Positiveness of perceptions of students who participated in volunteering activities both during their first and third year was reduced statistically significantly. However, none of the variables such as gender, altruism, social responsibility were statistically significantly related to the changed perceptions of the students. It is recommended that future researchers investigate other contextual variables (e.g., school variables, characteristics of field organizations, the programs, management related to student volunteering activities) other than individual characteristics. Additionally, in order to enhance adolescents` positive perceptions of volunteering activities, raising male students` consciousness related to volunteering activities, altruism, and social responsibility is recommended.

        사회복지학 전공 대학생의 사회복지 자기효능감과 진로결정수준 및 진로준비행동과의 관계

        본 연구는 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동이 어떠한지를 살펴보고, 사회복지 자기효능감과 진로결정수준 및 진로준비행동과의 관계를 실증적으로 검토함으로써 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 진로상담 및 진로지도에 도움을 주고자 하는 목적에서 수행되었다. 이 연구를 위해서 5개 대학의 사회복지학 전공 대학생 502명을 대상으로 사회복지 자기효능감, 진로결정수준, 진로준비행동을 측정하였으며 자료처리는 빈도분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 사용하였다. 연구결과에 의하면 첫째, 사회복지학 전공 대학생의 진로결정수준과 진로준비행동의 수준은 보통보다 약간 낮은 수준을 보였다. 둘째, 사회복지 자기효능감과 진로결정수준과는 별다른 유의한 영향을 보이지 않았으나 진로준비행동과는 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 사회복지 자기효능감의 세 하위변인중 클라이언트 지지 효능감은 진로준비행동과 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 사회복지 자기효능감은 행동적인 측면인 진로준비행동과 관계가 깊다고 할 수 있을 것이다. This study was conducted to contribute to career counseling and career guidance for universities students majoring in social welfare by examining how the career decision level and the career preparation behavior of the students are and the relationship between social work self-efficacy and the career decision level and the career preparation behavior of the respondents. For this study, the social work self-efficacy, the levels of career decision making and career preparation-related behavior of 502 students of social welfare in five universities were measured. The frequency analysis, correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis were used for collected data analysis. The research findings are as follows. Firstly, the levels of career decision making and career preparation-related behavior were slightly lower than mid-point on 5 point scale respectively. Secondly, social work self-efficacy was not correlated to their career decision levels while social work self-efficacy positively affected to the career-related behavioral levels. In particular, the client support self-efficacy of the three sub-factors in social work efficacy had a negative influence on the levels of career preparation behavior. Consequently, social work self-efficacy of the participants intensively was correlated with their career preparation-related behavioral levels.

      • 고학력 여성유휴인력의 자원봉사 활성화 방안

        The purpose of the study was to explore the ways to facilitate the participation in voluntary activities among unemployed females with higher educadon. Data consisted of the replies of 155 unemployed females who graduated from 4-year universities. The results indicated that 43.4% of the respondents participated in voluntary activities in the past, 21.7% currently participating, and 34.9% with no such experiences. Approximately 70% responded that they were satisfied with their voluntary activities and altruistic reasons were most important in their acts. The respondents having religion, belonging to social organizations, believing that personal improvement is related to community development or that helping needy people is community's responsibility were more likely to participate in voluntary activities. Many of voluntary activity participants were satisfied with type, length of time and amount of their activities, but responded that the activities were not related to their university majors. The most frequently mentioned reasons of non-participation were lack of time and energy due to house-keeping, child-raising, and care-giving and lack of knowledge about the organizations to volunteer for and the ways to participate. Regardless of previous volunteer experiences, about 96% wished to continue the participation in voluntary activities. The ways to facilitate the participation were suggested based on the results.
