중국의 공유공간 비즈니스의 공간 특성에 관한 연구

        우커스 ( Kesi Wu ),김주연 ( Jooyun Kim ) 한국공간디자인학회 2019 한국공간디자인학회논문집 Vol.14 No.3

(Background and Purpose) With the acceleration of economic globalization, all countries in the world are becoming interrelated, and interdependent communities with a common destiny are gradually being formed. Increasing attention is being paid to sharing, and the era of value embodiment is approaching, which promotes the same connotation of value in the ethical contradictions of diverse lives. In daily life, the requirements of sharing are gradually increasing. This study will extract and analyze the spatial characteristics and constituent elements needed to build a continuously shared business space with shared value in China to study the inevitability of shared value and the necessity of shared business spaces in China. (Method) Through this theoretical investigation, the characteristics of shared value and shared business spaces in China were narrowed down to five spatial characteristics, including publicness, participation, sharing, openness, and integration. An analysis was conducted by applying the characteristics to five major projects in China, such as the Shanghai Zhang Garden · FengShengLi, K11 Art Mall Shanghai, New World of Shanghai, Beijing Parkview Green · FangCaoDi, and the New World of Wuhan, and the results were obtained after charting the results of the analysis. (Results) The results show that among the five characteristic elements, sharing is valued the highest, which is a favorable evaluation of its cultural value, followed by publicness, openness, and integration. People gather in public spaces for diverse cultural and artistic activities and seminars, which is a characteristic of such spaces and reflects the active use of them. Finally, the value of shared business spaces must be formed based on participation, which can guide the attention of the users of a space. (Conclusions) This study tries to emphasize the inevitability of shared value and the spatial necessity of publicly shared business spaces. It is possible to draw three conclusions about their spatial characteristics: first, through the theoretical investigation of the concept and definition of shared business spaces, the significance of the spaces’ characteristics is revealed by the concept of shared value and comparison with the previous research, which yielded a comprehensive list of five spatial characteristics, including publicness, participation, sharing, openness, and integration. Second, shared value is applied in shared business spaces. The degree of sharing determines the direction of the space’s value. In terms of publicness, openness, and integration, the space attracts people's attention and fosters interactions with artists through cultural and artistic activities, performances, and seminars to promote a more enjoyable experience of the space. Third, shared business spaces with the concept of shared value are mainly commercial complexes. Most of the space forms are a three-sided combination, with hosting entertainment, catering, shopping, office spaces, hotel spaces, and art exhibitions as the main functions.

중국의 재생공간에서 나타난 공유가치 공간특성에 관한 연구

        우커스 ( Kesi Wu ),김주연 ( Jooyun Kim ) 한국공간디자인학회 2019 한국공간디자인학회논문집 Vol.14 No.4

(Background and Purpose) In the process of accelerating globalization, the “community of destiny” among countries worldwide is also accelerating: people are paying increasingly more attention to “sharing,” while “sharing value” has a higher status. Therefore, the premise of this study is the epochal and spatial necessity of ”shared value”; the study analyzes the characteristics of specific space and the extraction and analysis of its constituent elements, to construct a sustainable regenerative space with shared value in China. (Method) On the basis of previous research on “shared value” and “regenerated space” in China, this study comprehensively collates and analyzes the characteristics of “shared value” and “regenerated space”, and concludes four elements of spatial characteristics: publicity, participation, commonality, and convergence. The basic situation and spatial characteristics of five selected sites, namely, the Columbia Circle-ShangShengXinSuo, Tank Shanghai, Renovation of 80,000-ton silos on the Minsheng Wharf, 798 ArtDist-Dashanzi Art District, and Hanyang Art District-824 Creative Factory, are analyzed, and the results are charted. (Results) From the results, it is concluded that the degree of ”convergence” is the highest among the four characteristics of regeneration space. Second, the concept of “publicity” is that the concepts of multiple cultures and arts and idle industrial facilities are connected in a regeneration space in various ways, which is in accord with the regeneration space; it can be regarded as a spatial characteristic that can be actively utilized. Finally, the basis of forming the value of renewable space is the “participation” that can guide users to pay attention to actively. (Conclusions) According to the characteristics of the regeneration space based on the concept of “shared value” in China, this study draws the following four conclusions: First, the spatial characteristics of regenerative space based on the concept of shared value are drawn from four aspects: publicity, participation, sharing, and convergence. Second, it has the shared value of regenerated space, and the degree of its convergence determines the value direction of space; the characteristics of publicity, sharing, and participation are based on the concept of ”shared value” and the regeneration space design of idle industrial facilities, the active participation of designers’ teams and citizens play an efficient role of experiential factors and increase the frequency of visitors’ visits. Third, the functional distribution of regenerative space with the concept of “shared value” is to build regeneration, sustain possible regional culture, and regenerate external environments. Fourth, employing space regeneration, scientific research and production parks, old factory buildings and old urban areas are transformed into open commercial, office, leisure, cultural, artistic, community services and other multi-functional ”urban living rooms,” which will be the trend in future urban development.

Vol.15 No.8

(Background and Purpose) By considering the problems and actualities present in China’s urban public space―i.e., an increase in the population density, the lack of land for public spaces, confusion between the role of public spaces and place value, and need to give connotation to place in the development of public space, and based on the understanding of the place before public space’s utilization―this paper attempted to determine the value and function of place, analyze the characteristics of space, and study and construct the factors in the place of public space. The aim was to take public spaces in Beijing and Shanghai as representative sites for research, derive the public space’s place value and characteristics, and propose a stainable direction for public space design. (Method) This study proceeded to understand the concept of public space through theory and derive its types. By analyzing prior studies related to place and site character, the concept of public space was identified, and the values and spatial characteristics of the place were derived. An analytical framework was established based on the derived content, and case study was conducted. Considering the case study results, and taking the values and spatial characteristics of public spaces as a basis, we proposed the direction of sustainable public space design based on place. (Results) The analysis showed that the public spaces in Beijing and Shanghai are mainly analyzed in terms of plazas, industrial heritage areas, large public facilities, and commercial facilities as the main types. In addition, the spatial characteristics of place-based values and site-based roles in the target spaces were summarized. First, the mean of site character that appears in public spaces in Beijing and Shanghai are historical value > creative value> symbolic value > functional value > environmental value > media value. Second, the average of the spatial characteristics of place are evaluated as regional, identity, cultural > overall, and environment. (Conclusion) Overall, the value of place in public spaces is based on history, media, creativity, function, symbolism, and environment. Furthermore, the spatial characteristics are regional, recognizable, holistic, climatic, and cultural. The form of the physical space is the past space, which activates the vitality of regions by reuniting them with new lifestyles. Through recognition, personality, and order, as well as city image and symbols, it must have an intrinsic character so that it can be remembered. The existing space should be creatively transformed through cultural concepts and artistic techniques, expanding the utilization of space and attaining place. Finally, public spaces should use a holistic perspective with an integrated and multifunctional environment to shape the space value. According to different seasonal climates, they stipulate the nature, form, and function, and construct the site specificity.
