Anchorage zone in prestressed concrete cable stayed bridges is very important area due to the more accurate analysis is needed to estimate the behavior. In the study, since the cable anchorage zone in the prestressed concrete cable-stayed bridge is subject to a large amount of concentrated tendon forces, it shows very complicated stress distributions and causes a serious local cracks. A ccordingly, It is necessary to investigate the parameters of affecting the stress properties, such as the cable inclination, the position of anchor plate, the modeling method and the three dimensional effect. The tensile stress distribution of anchorage zone is compared to the actual design condition by varing the stiffness of spring element in the local modeling and an appropriate position of anchor plate is determined. These results would be elementary data to the stress state of anchorage zone and more efficient design.
Finite Element Analysis for Setting Shrinkage Stress of Recycled-PET Polymer Concrete
태기호,조병완 대한토목학회 2006 KSCE JOURNAL OF CIVIL ENGINEERING Vol.10 No.4
Results from experimental and analytical investigation on the setting stress of recycled-PET polymer concrete are presented. Setting shrinkage test on polymer concrete was carried out and the fractal dimension of the crack patterns detected on microscope images was measured. Numerical simulations of the tests were performed by means of a lattice model and non integer dimensions were measured on the predicted lattice damage patterns. The setting shrinkage cracks that are obtained with lattice are is good agreement with the experimental results.

As form a part of way to improve the durability of concrete placed on deleterious environments such as acidic rivers, sewage · wastewater, and sewer system, the paper presented here is the results of experimental immersion test, and for the test solution, 4 types sulfuric acid solution was prepared. As the other evaluation items, compressive strength, and carbonation depth were measured for mortar specimens and BFS50 mortar showed the lowest carbonation depth. Furthermore, in case of reduction in compressive strength, BFS50 resulted with most small reduction rate. From the result of EDS analysis of cement paste at 180 days of immersion, the detected major chemical elements were Ca and S and they are assumed as composing elements of gypsum.

In this paper, biomechanical aspects of dynamic대학교postural responses against forward perturbations were experimentally determined simultaneous measurements of joint angles, accelerations. EMG activations, center of pressure(CoP) movements and ground reaction forces(GRF), Thirteen young healthy volunteers, stood on a flat platform, were translated into the forward direction by an AC servo-motor at two separate velocities(0.1m and 0.2m/s). In order to recover postural balance against the forward perturbation, joint motions were observed in the sequence of the ankle dorsiflexion, the knee flexion and then the hip flexion during the later acceleration phase. Both acceleration patterns at the heel and the sacrum were shown the forward acceleration pattern during the later acceleration phase and early of constant velocity phase as increasing platform velocity, respectively. Tibialis anterior(TA) for the ankle dorsiflexion and biceps femoris(BF) for the knee flexion. the primary muscle to recover the forward perturbation, was activated during the half of acceleration phase. Ankle strategy was used for slow-velocity perturbation, but mixed strategy of both ankle and hip used for the fast-velocity perturbation. In addition, parameters of perturbation such as timing and magnitude influenced the postural response against the perturbation.
