The recent flurry of activities and interest in Switched Reluctance Motor(SRM) has focused attention on various issues associated with implementing the SRM in the mass commertial Market. One such issue is the noise generated by radial force. In this paper, we proposed the circuit to reduce the noise of SRM using LC Resonant characteristic. The usefulness of proposed circuit is verified by experimental result.<br/> <br/>

In this paper, we operate Synchronous Reluctance Motor(SynRM) using the two-phase conduction method Acually SynRM is operated by the sinusoidal PWM method but in home-appliance there is many restrictions of making the motor such as the method of winding, the shape of rotor etc. Therefore it is possible that there is little difference of performance between the two-phase conduction method and the sinusoidal PWM method. In this paper the characteristics of motor noise will be analyzed especially in the case of using the two-phase conduction method by experiment results.

Purpose: To evaluate the clinical effects of excimer laser refractive surgery on eyes with residual refractive error after implantation of ReSTOR<sup>? multifocal intraocular lenses. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed the medical records of 10 eyes of 6 patients who had undergone cataract surgery with implantation of multifocal intraocular lenses. Photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) (5 eyes) and laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) (5 eyes) was performed on 10 eyes with residual refractive error. Results: After cataract surgery and before laser surgery, the mean spherical equivalent (SE) was -0.34 ± 0.89 D and the mean astigmatism was 2.08 ± 0.55 D. Six months after laser surgery, the mean SE was -0.33 ± 0.30 D (p = 0.354) and the mean astigmatism was 0.23 ± 0.28 D. The changes in astigmatism between paired preoperative and postoperative values were statistically significant (p < 0.0001). At 6 months after surgery, uncorrected distance visual acuity significantly improved to 0.11 ± 0.10 (log MAR) (p < 0.0001) There were no significant changes in the best corrected distance visual acuity and uncorrected near visual acuity (p = 0.073, p = 0.100). Conclusions: On the basis of predictability and stability, excimer laser surgery appears to be a clinically useful procedure to correct residual refractive error after implantation of ReSTOR<sup>? multifocal intraocular lenses.
기체용적계를 이용한 분동식 압력계용 기준분동의 새로운 부피측정 방법

본 연구에서는 분동식 기준압력계의 기준분동(reference weight)의 부피를 측정하는 새로운 측정방법인 기체용적계(gas pycnometer) 측정방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 측정방법에 의한 측정결과로서 기준분동 1 kg, 2 kg, 5 kg에 대한 부피 측정불확도는 신뢰수준 95%에서 0.2%를 나타내었다. 기체용적계의 주요 장치는 샘플용기와 팽창용기, 정밀압력계, 정밀온도계, 진공펌프로 구성되며, 측정 원리는 일정한 용기 내에 들어 있는 일정한 양의 기체의 압력과 부피는 서로 반비례한다는 보일(boyle's law)의 법칙을 용용하였다. 본 결과는 현재까지 문헌이나 제조사로부터 기준분동 재질에 대한 밀도값을 적용하여 오던 것을 기준분동의 부피를 직접 측정하여 밀도값을 적용함으로서 압력기준기의 압력 기준값에 대한 국가측정표준의 신뢰도 향상에 기여될 것이다. New method of volume measurement for reference weights of a pressure balance using a gas pycnometer is proposed. The result of volume measurement of proposed method shows the uncertainties of approximately 0.2% at the level of confidence of 95% for reference weights in the ranges of 1 kg, 2 kg, and 5 kg. This measuring system consists of a sample chamber, an expansion chamber, a precision pressure gage, a precison thermometer, a vacuum pump, and helium as a medium gas. The measurement principle of this proposed method is based on Boyle's law. This method will contribute a reliability of the volume measurements of reference weights for a pressure balance to the national measurement standard.
