This paper introduces the kinematic calibration method to improve the positioning accuracy of a parallel mechanism. Since all the actuators in the parallel mechanism are controlled simultaneously toward the target position, the volumetric errors originated from each motion element are too complicated. Therefore, the exact evaluation of the error sources of each motion element and its calibration is very important in terms of volumetric errors. In the calibration processes, the measurement of the errors between commands and trajectories is necessary in advance. To do this, a digitizer was used for the data acquisition in 3 dimensional space rather than arbitrary planar error data. After that, the optimization process that was used for reducing the motion errors were followed. Consequently, Levenberg-Marquart algorithm as well as the error data acquisition method turned out effective for the purpose of the calibration of the parallel mechanism.

By grouping freshly the virtue terms used in herbal medicine, we are apt to establish the position coordinates of concepts and raise the level of the herbal virtue research in future. As the terms related to the herbal virtue used in herbal medicine are used with the virtue terms mingled with the chief treatable disease terms, it`s hard to use the herbal virtue data only. And though the virtues terms imply many data like medical act data or medical operation data, we can`t use them fully. We sort the terms related to the herbal virtue into the virtue terms and the chief treatable disease terms and acquire many data like medical act data or medical operation data and group the data by same attribute. At this time in the process of classification we establish sort standards inductively, put relations between the attributes in order, out of this result we grasp the actual conditions of the virtue terms used now, and show useful data for herbal virtue research in future. We got the chief treatable disease terms from the ones related to the herbal virtue, acquired a lot of data from the virtue terms and grouped the data by the same attribute. We established a proper standard inductively in the process of classification, put the relations between the attributes in order, grasped the actual conditions of the virtue terms in use at the moment out of the result of the classification and presented the applicable data for the herbal virtue research in future.

The medical treatment is process of collecting symptoms, making a diagnosis and treatment for the diagnosis. The remedy and the efficacy are the important hinge that links the diagnosis to the means of medical treatment. Lots of medical data are stored on database or saved as files in these days. The preferential way to find the efficacy related to the remedy is search all efficacy terms match up to the remedy term. To increase the rate of matching remedy terms with efficacy terms, we study the relation between efficacy terms and remedy terms and research the conversion way of the terms into the representative terms. The rate of matching the raw remedy terms with the raw efficacy terms is below 30%. The rate of matching the disaggregate remedy terms with the disaggregate efficacy terms is about 50%. The rate of matching the representative remedy terms with the representative efficacy terms is almost 70%.

Objectives : Clinical data in traditional medicine, such as Korean medicine, traditional Chinese medicine have a long history of accumulating evidence and these rich data are recorded in classic literature. We have conducted a study of developing an algorithm that support clinical diagnosis with composing both users knowledge and data obtained from literature. In order to define necessary information and required steps in diagnosis procedure, we have established a clinical diagnostic procedure including a step of collecting patients symptoms, a step of determining candidates, a step of diagnostic decisions, a step of deciding of treatment and a step of adjusting medicinal treatment. Methods : Our study have been based on the following premises. 1. Using data obtained from literature contributes to accurate diagnosis 2. Displaying the data before users request contributes to accurate conclusion. Displaying before users request enable users to recognize their overlooking a fact on purpose or not. 3. Checking symptoms that are commonly accompanied with a group of diseases that accompany symptoms appealed by a patient contributes to accurate conclusion. These symptoms are worthy of checking. 4. Comparing more than two candidates contributes to accurate conclusion. Users can compare their accompanied symptoms with patients symptoms and this helps users to make a decision. Results : Based on the above premises, we have developed an literature based algorithm to provide various functions, such as recommending symptoms to check, comparing groups of symptoms, differential diagnosis, recommending medicinal materials to prescribe, and more. Conclusions : By the results of simulation with virtual diagnostic scenario, we concluded this algorithm is useful helping clinician in diagnosis procedure.

전기자동차들을 수학적으로 모델링하고 시뮬레이션 하는 많은 방법들이 있다. 전기 자동차의 각 요소들은 다른물리적인 배경과 모델들을 갖고 있으나, 하나의 수학적 모델로 구성하기란 어려우므로 다양한 물리적 모델이 요구된다. 시뮬레이션이 목적에 따라 수행할 시뮬레이션에 관한 디양한 레벨들이 있다. 즉, 개념 체계 레벨, 회로 레벨,더 상세한 요소레벨로 구성된다. 본 연구에서는 전기 자동차에서 여러 가지 요소들에 대한 다양한 물리적 모델들과, 다중레벨 시뮬레이션에 관하여 연구하고자 한다. 또한, 본 시뮬레이션 방법은 공학교육에 학습효과를 향상 시킬 수 있다. There are many ways in which electric vehicles are mathematically modeled and simulated. The components have different physical background and models but have to fit into one mathematical model. A multiphysics model structure is required. Depending on the goal of the simulation there are various levels on which the simulation can be performed. This is called multilevel consisting of a conceptual system level a circuit level and a more detailed component level. This paper discusses which multiphysics models and multilevel simulations are required for the various components in an electric vehicle. Also this simulation approach could improve the effectiveness of learning in engineering education.

Recently, the LOE(loss of excitation) incidents are occurred in domestic synchronous generator frequently, the synchronous generator protection system has been much attention for the LOE protection of the incidents that threats synchronous generators and power systems. This paper was showed the characteristics and practices of distance relay that widely used LOE protection relaying in generator. Firstly, the operating characteristics and the impedance locus for LOE of the generator protection were introduced. Even if the conventional simulation program is used for modeling, but it is difficult to implement a LOE modeling and simulation of synchronous generator. So, the LOE relay operation data collected from thermal power plant and nuclear power plant in real fields were analyzed. By reviewing the applications of GE Mho relays, the reliability of LOE for synchronous generator protection in domestic were improved.
