CGM Grouting, the method which makes ground improvement by injection of silicate-grout, is widely used for reinforcement of soft ground. However, the quantitive analysis of ground improvement for this method has not performed yet. Therefore, design parameters about this method must be studied through performance of CGM<sup>®</sup> in various types of soil to make CGM<sup>®</sup>adaptable widely. Field tests were performed for analysis of the characteristics of ground improvement on the surface of excavation walls reinforced by CGM Grouting. In this study, denoted many effects for the silicate-grouted soil which are increasing of the cohesion and decreasing of the permeability coefficient.
