A key part of the panel process for manufacturing high-definition displays is the deposition of OLED organic material on to substrates. In the deposition process, a Fine-Metal-Mask(FMM) is located at the front of the substrate for deposition of organic material on the desired base plate. The organic material is deposited on the substrate through a small hole in the FMM. In addition, deposition takes place in the chamber of the high-vacuum state, so that organic material becomes very sparse, so analysis and prediction of deposition require very high refinement and detail. In this study, 2nd order slip models were applied to the walls of the deposition chamber which maintained a very low pressure. According, in order to increase the deposition rate of organic material injected through the surface type nozzle, it was analyzed the change of the velocity at the location of the panel due to the change of the angle of the injection hole in the surface type nozzle.

Stoichiometric $LiNbO_3$(LN) single crystals of 1 mm diameter and 30∼40 mm length with co-doped the $Er_2O_3$ and MgO were grown by the Micro-Pulling Down(${\mu}$-PD) method. The grown crystals were investigated for the change of the up-conversion property by the $Er_2O_3$ and MgO addition and the optical damage by the MgO concentration. Also, the crystals were studied the defects using the optical microscope and it is identified the homogeneities of the distribution of the $Er_2O_3$ and MgO concentration by the Electron Probe Micro Analysis(EPMA).

Background : Angiogenesis is the proliferation of a network of blood vessels emanating from pre-existing vessels, supplying nutrients and oxygen and removing waste products. Angiogenesis occurs in a variety of normal physiologic and pathologic conditions and is regulated by a balance of stimulatory and inhibitory angiogenic factors. Excessive angiogenesis should be suppressed. However, if blood supply is insufficient, it should be encouraged. Hyul-Mek(血脈) or Hyul-Rark(血絡), known as blood vessels in western medicine, is deeply related to Chung-Ki-Hyul(精 氣 血). The goal of this study is to review the effects of herbal medicines on angiogenesis that is involved in wound healing and enhancement of blood supply. Methods : We conducted a systematic and comprehensive literature search for the identification, retrieval, and bibliographic management of independent studies to locate information on the topic. A computerized search of the published literature of Korea(KISS, RISS), China(CNKI), Japan(Kampo medicine, etc), and western countries(MEDLINE) was performed, and further supplemented with manual searches of print sources(1999 to 2003). Results : The herbal medicines with angiogenic activity were mainly found among herbs that carry replenish Shin-Cheng(補腎益精), foster Eum and improve the circulation of blood(養陰活血), or warm and circulate Kyung-Rark(溫經通絡). In particular, herbs with improve the circulation of blood and clear blood(活血化瘀) activity contain a significant amount of tannin, saponin, and pyrazine. Conclusion : Replenish Ki-Hyul(補氣血) and circulate Kyung-Rark(通經絡) could contribute to the induction of angiogenesis because various growth factors and proliferation, differentiation, and migration of vascular endothelial cells are involved in angiogenic activity.

Objective: There were many instruments introduced for direct repair of spondylolysis. But those instruments were not designed for direct repair of spondylolysis originally. Dynesys implants consist of pedicle screws and cords or laminar hooks that were designed for lumbar dynamic stabilization. We used pedicle screws and cord or laminar hook of Dynesys spinal system for repairment of spondylolysis. Methods: July 2005 to March 2009, Six patients with lumbar spondylolysis were treated with a new technique using a pedicle screw with a u-shaped rod or laminar hook combined with bone grafting of the transverse process and lamina of the same level, bypassing the spondylolytic defect. There were 5 males and 1 female. Ages ranged from 18-48 years(average of 34.5 years). A total of 8 vertebral levels were fused(one patient had spondylolytic defects at 3 levels). Five defects were at L5, two at L4, and one at L3. The patients had low back pain that was unimproved after 3-6 months of conservative management. None demonstrated spondylolisthesis or instability, disc degeneration on MRI, nor radiculopathy. All symptoms resolved after isthmus block. The patients were followed-up for a period of 3-27 months(average of 14.8 months). The authors compared pre-operative and post-operative clinical symptoms and radiographic findings retrospectively. Success of the procedure was determined by the following criteria: impro- vement of clinical symptoms(VAS score), absence of isthmic motion on plain radiographs, and evaluation for the presence of a bone mass bridging the transverse processes and laminae using plain radiographs and reconstruction CT scan. Results: All patients demonstrated improvement in pain scores(average of 8.3 to an average of 3.2). A fusion rate of 87.5% was achieved(7 out 8 levels). No complications were noted. The authors were able to demonstrate a potential benefit in using this new technique for the treatment of lumbar spondylolysis. Conclusion: Direct repair of spondylolysis with Dynesys spinal system is technically easy and fixes strongly biome- chanically.
