Development of aspect dummy considering seat dimension factor

The HPM-I dummy that was used to design car seats was developed by referring to human body dimension data in the 1960s, not toreflect changes of body sizes in accordance with time flow. Also, the HPM-I dummy that was made of one plate of a back rest could notexpress various kinds of postures. Thereafter, HPM-II, which had three back rests, was developed, but it could not consider various kindsof seat dimension factors by body size of 50th percentile male. We developed not only a 5th percentile female model but also 95th percentilemale model to make use of them for automobile seat design and rating. The study developed the HARB model, HPM-II model,and CAD model of each percentile based on 50th percentile male HPM-II dummy.
자동차 요추지지대의 설계 변수에 따른 불편도 및 요추 변형과의 상관 관계 분석

In this study, it is investigated the relationship between sitting discomfort and major design variables of lumber support, such as prominence, height and width through volunteer tests. Korean 50<SUP>th</SUP> percentile males and American 50<SUP>th</SUP> percentile males are recruited among 36 to 45 years old peoples who have driving experiences and have no back pain during the past 12 months. Subject ratings are asked by changing design variables randomly. Body pressure and lumber position changes are also measured as object measures. And correlation among subject ratings, object measures and three design variables are analyzed using statistical analysis. As a result, it is revealed that prominence is the most dominant factor that correlates to the discomfort strongly for both-Koreans and Americans and contribution of other two variables are very low.

Virtual Reality helps Product, Manufacturing, and Service Engineering Managers address challenges related to shorter product lifecycles, globalization, and new technology trends; better managing the risk of not achieving their targets; through a virtual and rich-context Human Centric Product & Processes validation, facilitating early identification of issues and improvements while reducing the need for physical trials & rely only on expert opinions. Note, Virtual Reality is not targeting to replace the baseline CAD, DMU, or Process Planning solutions that users are using. Neither are Virtual Reality aiming to be a complete replacement for the existing simulation solutions in place. Instead, Virtual Reality is intended to help users to reduce key risks and inefficiencies from the entire development process.
대면적 박막 태양전지 적용을 위한 CdTe 박막의 화학적기계적연마 공정 특성

Cadmium telluride (CdTe) is one of the most attractive photovoltaic materials due to its low cost, high efficiency and stable performance in physical, optical and electronic properties. Few researches on the influences of uniform surface on the photovoltaic characteristics in large-area CdTe solar cell were not reported. As the preceding study of the effects of thickness-uniformity on the photovoltaic characteristics for the large-area CdTe thin film solar cell, chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process was investigated for an enhancement of thickness-uniformity. Removal rate of CdTe thin film was 3160 ㎚/min of the maximum value at the 200 gf/㎠ of down force (pressure) and 60 rpm of table speed (velocity). The removal rate of CdTe thin film was more affected by the down force than the table speed which is the two main factors directly influencing on the removal rate in CMP process. RMS roughness and peak-to-valley roughness of CdTe thin film after CMP process were improved to 96.68% and 85.55%, respectively. The optimum process condition was estimated by 100 gf/㎠ of down force and 60 rpm of table speed with the consideration of good removal uniformity about 5.0% as well as excellent surface roughness for the large-area CdTe solar cell.

A free vibration analysis of hollow sphere and hermetic capsule was presented. Moderate thick shell theory was used and spherical shells were modeled as truncated spheres where there were pinholes at their apices. Hermetic capsule was modeled by a cylindrical shell capped by hemispherical shells at its ends. The deflections and the rotations of shells were represented by the expansions of Chebyshev polynomials and Fourier functions. The equations of motion were collocated to yield the system of equations that corresponded to the circumferential wave number. The numbers of collocation points were chosen to be less than the number of expansion terms, and the sets of algebraic equations were condensed so that the number of expansions matches the number of degrees of freedom of the problem. To satisfy the compatibility conditions between shell segments in the hermetic capsule the expansions were matched at the junctions of the substructures. Numerical example were provided to demonstrate the robustness of proposed method.

A new approach in seat comfort evaluation is proposed by comfort analysis, which is a new analytic method based on the materializing seat model. As a result of application of analysis model, we could compose the model which can predict the backset of head restraint and lumbar support prominence.

Cadmium Telluride (CdTe)를 이용한 박막형 태양전지 제작과 실용화에 있어 가장 큰 이슈는 대면적화에 따른 에너지 변환효율의 저하를 줄임으로써 고효율의 대면적 태양전지를 대량으로 생산하는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 태양전지 박막의 대면적 증착시 문제점 중에 하나인 불균일한 CdTe 박막의 증착을 방지하기 위한 선행연구를 진행하였다. 실험 방법으로는 Sputtering 법을 적용하여 박막 증착시 출력과 진공도에 따른 박막 두께의 표준편차와 RMS 표면 거칠기(R<SUB>rms</SUB>), 최고-최저점간 표면 거칠기(R<SUB>p-v</SUB>) 등의 거동을 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 Sputtering 공정 변수 중에 박막 두께의 표준 편차에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 변수를 조사하고, 후행 연구로 진행될 Sputtering 법을 이용하여 대면적에 균일하게 증착하는 방법에 적용하고자 한다.
