The machine locking system is an important device for the safety of persons using the machine. Therefore, the locking system using electromagnetic fields was proposed to decrease defects, the cost of repairing and maintenance for the existing locking system using structural mechanism. We analyze the EM locking system and calculate the generated force by the finite element method. The optimal topology is obtained by the sensitivity analysis. And the obtained optimal topology is confirmed the improved design comparing with the initial locking system.
레이저의 피부 흡수에 의해 발생하는 축 방향 변위의 펄스 폭 의존성에 관한 연구

In this study, simulations of the axial displacement generated in human tissues by pulsed laser absorption were executed. The temporal width of the laser pulse was varied from 1 ns to 1000 ns, while the pulse energy and the beam diameter were set to 9.6 mJ and 0.5 mm, respectively. It was found that the magnitude of the axial displacement decreased as the laser pulse width increased. When the laser pulse width was ~500 ns, the magnitude of the axial displacement dropped to half of that for the 1-ns pulse width. The magnitude of the axial stress was also examined and found to be rapidly reduced with the increase of the laser pulse width.
FEA-based Torque Ripple and Noise Reduction of DC Motor for Automotive Air-Conditioning

This paper discusses methods for the torque ripple and noise reduction of DC motors for automotive air-conditioning based on electromagnetic field analysis. The target of the motor is a blower motor, and to reduce cogging torque and the torque ripple, the optimum model was selected by deforming the brush or commutator shape. In addition, to reduce the cogging torque, the model design was carried out by applying the skew method and the magnetization method of a magnet to the rotor. For optimization, the shape, material, and drive system of the motor were selected using an electromagnetic field as the analysis tool, and the method of reducing the cogging torque was applied to 4-pole, 12- and 13-slot motors considering the mechanical part . Lastly, this paper confirmed thatthemethod, which proposed how much noise, cogging torque, and vibration are reduced, improves through practical analysis.
