Web-based metacomputing is a promising alternative in the area of parallel processing, in which we can utilize millions of camputers connected through the Internet. It consists of three major elements : a host, a client, and a broker. A Client is a consumer of the computing power. A host is the provider of computing power. A broker handles the interactions between hosts and clients. Most of earlier projicts, which implemented web-based metacomputing infrastructure, used only one broker, so the broker is easy to be a bottleneck and the system is not scalable. In this paper, we propose a distributed broker model, which uses multiple brokers to distribute and balance the load of one broker system. It is based on Charlotte, but extended to use multiple distributed brokers. It can effectively relieve the burden of one broker, and enhance the scalability. We also develope a simple web server, which can transfer the class definitions from the client to the distributed brokers at runtime.
