Recently, the development of internet remote control system has been studied lively along with fast growth of internet. In this paper, we proposed the .internet-based remote control and monitoring system using java platform for induction motor speed control. The apache web server that is now used worldwide was constructed for monitoring and controlling of an induction motor in administrator's web browser. We solved the limitation on security which is the biggest problem of internet control system due to strong security setting in web server. The change of induction motor's state linked to the server can be delivered to web browser used servlet and applet together in real time. Because of using java database connectivity, the various information of machine is stored with database and can be used easily in web browser. As a result of experiment which is used in the proposed remote internet control system, several time-delay occurred in internet. However, correct control result could be achieved without an error. RPM, current, frequency and control information of an induction motor could be monitored in almost real time.

This paper presents the control of an underactuated two-link and three-link acrobat robot. We derived system equations from the nonholonomic acceleration constraints by using the law of conservation of angular momentum. Then we applied zero dynamics to stabilize the two-link and three-link acrobat robot around its uppermost equilibrium point. Simulation results are given to show the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

Though a legged robot has high terrain adaptability as compared with a wheeled vehicle, its moving speed is considerably low in general. For attaining a high moving speed with a legged robot, a dynamically stable walking, such as running for a biped robot and a trot gait or a bound gait for a quadruped robot. is a promising solution. However, energy efficiency of a dynamically stable walking is generally lower than the efficiency of a stable gait such as a crawl gait. In this paper, energy consumption of two walking patterns for a trot gait is simulated though modeling a quadruped walking vehicle named TITAN-Ⅷ.

There are many different cards and keys that are used. But the functions or companies are different, so there are many inconvenience to carry and use. Nowadays, It is need to unite of many card functions in one card. Many companies are using card key for access offices instead of key and office going system. So, In this paper, We developed hardware and software that could do many function as one card. We trying to unite the functions of key and card into one card. In this system, it is used by individual credit card. We have no doubt the usefulness of this system for building and offices security system and office going system, etc.

In MHD power generation system, enthalpy of the working gas is converted to electric power directly through expansion in generator channel. It means that electric power can be generated without a moving mechanical linkage such as turbine blades. The principle of MHD generation is based on Faraday' law of induction that eletromotive force(u×B) is generated when the working gas of velocity u flows a channel in which magnetic field of strength(B) exists. In this paper, helium gas seeded with cesium is used as working gas. There are two types of generator in MHD generation; linear type faraday and disk type hall generator. Rogowski coils having the bandwidth of the 100[㎐]∼20[㎑] were used for measuring current flowing MHD disk channel. Optimum load resistor value of the MHD generator studied was 2.5[Ω]. Disk type hall generator's generation performance is the main target of this paper, which superiors to linear type Faraday generator in many points. Isentropic efficiency and enthalpy extraction rate of disk type shock tube driven hall generator is discussed here.

To achieve good welding results in various welding application, seam tracking technology is essential. In this thesis, seam tracking algorithm using cartesian coordinate welding robots are investigated and discussed. Many types of seam tracking methods are used in industrial field usually. Especially, vision system using CCD camera and laser diode are used to track the seam. A structured laser diode's light is introduced on the weld groove and the reflected light image is captured by CCD camera. The captured image is transformed into 8 bit pixel data. The seam tracking algorithm is developed by processing the 8 bit pixel data.

There are many ways to accomplish AC motor speed control, among them inverter, which can change output voltage and frequency, is widely used in industrial field in a view of energy saving and factory automation, and by help of microprocessor, it is extending its' application scope. In this study RS PWM inverter is introduced, frequency resolution is increased up to 0.1Hz so that the turbulence of current and torque is avoided, brake circuit is attached to consume the regeneration energy during speed down, and dynamic brake routine is added to reduce stop period. In addition, induction motor can drive within 1.5 time of rating current by Soft start and stop through the initial setting of Acceleration and Deceleration time. Developed is the reliable Dead Time Circuit to protect the short circuit of single arm, and the variable of Acc. time, Dec. time, Max. Hz, Jog. Hz, Start Hz, DC brake voltage and period, and Torque Boost can be changed in initial setting to increase field suitability.
