In order to Prepare the$Ge_xSi_{1-x}/Si$(111) heterosructure by solid phase epitaxy (SPE), about 1000A of Au and about 1000A Ge were sequentially deposited on the Si(111) substrate. The resulting Ge/Au/Si(111) samples were isochronically annealed in the high vacuum condition. The behaviors of Au and Ge during thermal annealing and the structural Properties of $Ge_xSi_{1-x}$ films were characterized by Auger electron spectroscopy (AES), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and high resolution transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The a-Ge/Au/Si(111) structure was converted to the Au/GeSi/Si(111) structure. Defects such as stacking faults, point defects and dislocations were found at the GeXSil-X(111) interface, but the film was grown epitaxially with the matching face relationship of $Ge_xSi_{1-x}/$(111)/Si(111). Twin crystals were also found in the $Ge_xSi_{1-x}/$(111) matrix.

The writer Byeon Young Man, one of the important writers in late period of Sine-Korean literature, unfortunately lacks his understanding about fiction so that we hardly consider the six works in the "Chun(전)" part among the collection of his works as "novels" in modern concept. Generally speaking, however, the plots are interrelated logically and the characters are coincident with the incidents of the stories. Some of the stories suggest even serious problems of life intermingled with the feelings of the people's ethos. The six individual works are studied as follows; Seo Ryeo Chang Kyu sa (서려창규사) is a serious story of bitter loneliness and anti-Japanese idea, but we find frequently writer's voices inserted within the story. Sam In Chun (삼인전), is well interwoven story without any unnecessary-superfluities of the meddling insertions of the writer. Hyo Bu Park Shi Chun(효부박씨전) is a trite story of traditional folktale about a filial sister-in-law and it has the faults of beginning with long discourse and missing the crucial motivating act to the heroine`s suffering remose over her step mother-in-law in the last part of the story. Shi Sue Chun (시새전) is generally accepted as a transformation of Kachun (가전). It has been known as the best among the six and published even in Korean version. The story is full of satire contrasting the two human types of "Sisiduk(시시덕)" created from the word "sisiliada" and "Saechimduk(새침덕)" from "saechimhada". The Korean version is more satirical with additional episodes and writer`s intervening voices, which make the story diffusive at the same time thought. Chang Gang Ja Chun(창강자전) is only a kind of biography applauding the achievements of a real person, Kim Taek Young, one of the great writers in late Dae Man Empire. Dan Jae Chun(단제전) is also about a nother person Shin ChaeHo, a great scholar and self-confident patriot to insist Korean independence from Japan. In the earlier part of the story we feel the character vividly alive thanks to quite real descriptions of the hero`s some episodes, but the later part spoils the work with long writer`s statements. Until now Byeon Young Man`s six Chuns have been examined from the point of modern concept of novel. I suggest that we could derive new valuable meanings out of his works if we approach them with a new perspective of acknowledging them as its own genre "Chus(전)."

The Organic agricultural techinques were investigated through the observations made for 3 years of the actual conditions of a farmer who has been practicing organic agriculture over 21 years. The farmer was a member of the Ichijima-cho Organic Agriculture Association. The Farmer had not performed much of the organic agricultural techinques at the beginning of his farming history. However, he has gradually developed techniques upon the experiences with trial and error. The notable characteristic of his basic organic agriculture was the utilization of a suitable organic fertilizer to make the soil fertile. Crop damages by diseases and insect pests were prevented through a fertile soil, raising of good seedlings, adoption of tolerant varieties and planting at a wide spacing and consequently considering not to use chemical pesticides. Introduction of power weeder for weed control and paddy-upland crop rotation reduced the cost of production for farming. The crop pattern and method of land us such as mix cropping, crop rotation and conversion of paddy field-upland fieldd were appeared to be very important in organic agriculture. The organic agricultural techniques get systematized upon the adaptation the regional ecology and the development of skills of the farmer. The most important point to achieve the success in organic agriculture system is not only by the development of the technical matters but also by the building of healthy relation and understandings between producers and consumers.
