The construction industry of Japan developed the eco-cement using city garbage, sewage and others for the domestic waste disposal, and this cement was adopted in JIS R 5214. However, there is the problem that the compressive strength of the concrete using the eco-cement under the long term age is lower than the concrete using portland cement. Accordingly, in the previous study, the compressive strength properties of eco-cement concrete using the fly-ash under the long term age was investigated, and almost the same properties were shown between the portland cement concrete and eco-cement concrete mixing fly ash. In this study, strength test was conducted to investigate the strength properties(compressive, split, shear) of eco-cement concrete mixing fly-ash, and almost same strength performance was investigated between the portland cement concrete specimen and eco-cement concrete mixing fly-ash specimen.

This paper presents optimal hollow sphere shapes in hollow slab by using finite element method program. Recently, various types of reducing slab self-weight systems are studied as the height and width of the building structures rapidly increase. Hollow slab system is widely known one of the effective reducing slab self-weight. Hollow slab has hollow spheres within the slab in order to reduce slab self-weight. Because of reducing slab self-weight by hollow spheres, size of vertical elements like wall and columns can be smaller and slab span can be longer. A capacity of Hollow slab is influenced by hollow sphere shapes. Therefore, In this study, several hollow slabs which has different hollow sphere shapes are analyzed by using finite element method program in order to derive optimal hollow sphere shapes.

In this study, bending test was conducted to investigate the flexural performance of eco-cement concrete beam mixing fly-ash, and almost same structural performance was investigated between the portland cement concrete specimen and eco-cement concrete mixing fly ash specimen.
