        한국과 일본의 인터넷에서의 기본 소생술 정보의 신뢰성과 정확성 비교

        Purpose: The internet is a vast resource for consumers. The internet is a decentralized, global medium, so quality management of health information is difficult for the lay person. Basic Life Support (BLS) is basic information provided for the lay person in the province of emergency medicine. The writers searched for BLS information on Korean and Japanese Web sites and assessed the quality of that information. Methods: We used the search engine 'Yahoo! Korea' in Korea and 'Yahoo! Japan' in Japan. The search references were 'Basic Life Support' and 'Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). The assessment was based on three 'Credibility' and seven 'Content' factors. 'Credibility' factors composed of 'Source', 'Context' and 'Currency'. 'Content' factors composed of six factors of accuracy of six course of BLS and one factor of 'Original Source Stated'. We make our own criteria for each factors. And, If the web site fitted the criteria, we give 1 point, if not, give 0point. So, 'Credibility' factors point is 3 points full mark and 'Content' factors point is 7 points full mark. Results: Eight Korean and fifteen Japanese sites were found as a result of the search. No difference in 'Credibility' factors existed between the two nations' web sites. There was, however, a statistical difference in the 'Content' factors between the two nations' web site. The mean of 'Content' factors points is 3.75 and 5.06 in 7 points full mark, Korean web site and Japanese web site respectively. Conclusion: Improvement in the quality of BLS on internet web sites in needed, especially BLS on 'Recovery position', 'Assessment of circulation', and 'Cardian compression'.

        Effect of sulfate limitation on sulfur isotope fractionation in batch cultures of sulfate reducing bacteria

        Dissimilatory reduction of sulfate to sulfide produces a wide range of sulfur isotope effects, enriching heavy isotopes of sulfur in the remaining sulfate. This isotope fractionation is known to decrease at low sulfate concentrations, which has been used to assess marine sulfate levels throughout the geologic record. So far, the relationships of fractionations to the sulfate concentrations have been examined exclusively in continuous cultures or cell suspensions with continuous removal of the metabolic product sulfide, although sulfate respiration often results in the accumulation of high levels of sulfide in nature. High sulfide levels, as opposed to the effect of sulfate depletion, can increase the magnitude of sulfur isotope fractionation. Thus, I investigate the sulfur isotope fractionation by sulfate reducing bacteria, Desulfovibrio alaskensis and Desulfovibrio sp. DMSS1, in pyruvate batch cultures, where low sulfate but high sulfide concentrations can be achieved. The improved sensitivity of the new analytical method using multicollector ICP-MS makes it easier to measure the sulfur isotope composition of residual sulfate. Both species of Desulfovibrio fractionate sulfur isotopes by 11 to 12‰ with sulfate in excess, but as sulfate is used up in the culture medium, sulfur isotope fractionations decrease down to 0‰ and 3‰ for D. alaskensis and DMSS1, respectively. The results here suggest that elevated sulfide levels are likely secondary to the sulfate availability in determining the magnitude of isotope fractionation. However, the threshold sulfate concentrations at which isotope effect diminishes are apparently different between the two species studied.

      • Doublet 센서배열의 수중음원 위치 추정 성능 향상을 위한 시간지연 추정 기법

        본 연구의 수중음원 방위/거리 추정 기법은 음파면 곡률 측정기법(wavefront curvature ranging)을 기반으로 한다. 음파면 곡률 측정 기법은 배열을 이루는 센서에 대해 기준이 되는 센서와 나머지 두 센서 사이의 시간지연을 추정하여 음파면의 곡률을 측정하고 이로부터 음원의 방위와 거리를 추정하는 기법이다. 수신신호의 센서 간 시간지연값이 높은 정확도로 추정이 되어야 음원 추정성능 확보할 수 있으며 수신신호가 광대역(broadband) 특성을 가지고 있을 경우 상호 상관함수를 이용한 시간지연 추정에서 우수한 성능을 가진다. 하지만, 대상 신호가 협대역(narrowband)이며 잡음(noise)으로 인해 상호상관 함수를 이용한 시간지연 추정에서 다수개의 첨두값과 높은 진동특성이 나타나 상호상관 함수를 이용한 음원 위치 추정에 제한이 있다. 성능저하 원인을 제거하고자 NLS(Nonlinear Least Squares)비용함수를 이용한 시간지연 추정이 제시되었으나, 원신호(original signal)에 대한 정보가 없는 경우 비용함수에 왜곡이 발생하여 성능의 저하가 발생하고 음파의 다중경로 전파에 의한 신호간 상관성 저하로 비용함수를 이용한 시간지연 추정은 제한된 환경에서 우수한 추정성능을 가지게 된다. 본 연구에서는 doublet array를 포함하는 센서배열의 수중 음원 위치 추정 성능 향상을 위한 시간지연 추정기법을 제안한다. 제안한 기법을 통하여 다중경로 환경에서도 강인한 음원 위치 추정 성능을 가질 수 있음을 확인하였다. Doublet array는 짧은 센서간 간격으로 인해 수신되는 음원의 신호가 다중경로 환경에서도 높은 상관성을 가지는 점을 이용하여 시간지연 추정을 하였다. 또, 신호의 중심주파수, fc와 시간지연값의 차, Δε간의 관계에 따라 추정된 시간지연값을 보정함으로써 음원 위치 추정 성능을 향상시켰다.

        정상 분만 후 발생한 대동맥 박리증

        Hypertension is a risk factor for developing fatal aortic dissection. Aortic dissection occurs 2~3 times as often in men than in women between ages of 50~70 years old. Among other risk factors, aortic dissection occurs especially in women below the age of 40 years old in pregnancy-related cases. In pregnancy-related cases, aortic dissection occurs n the third trimester and in puerperium, as well as in multiparous women. The writers experienced an aortic dissection related pregnancy. The patient was 32 years old, diagnosis of dissection occurred in the postpartum period. Although, aortic dissection is a rare complication of pregnancy, the knowledge of this may assist the emergency physician save the lives of patients.

        컨테이너터미널 인력운영 변화모형에 관한 연구

        This study clarified a complicated cause-and-effect relationship about the manpower utilization of container terminals. This paper conducted confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling using 5 factors: technology development, safety and security change, external environment, terminal operation, and organizational culture that have been derived in the first study(2021). The results imply that technology development and external environment have a direct effect while terminal operation and safety and security change have indirect effect on a manpower utilization of container terminals. Based on these results, this paper may provide various policy implications for port operators, developers, and managers.

        Cervical spine injury occurs in 3% of blunt trauma patients, and 10% of patients with cervical spine injuries have an associated head injury. The early recognition of cervical spine injury and treatment of the secondary injury are important in the management of trauma patients. At the time of diagnosis of cervical spine injury, 5∼30% of patients have been reported to have experienced missed or delayed diagnosis. Of these, 10.5∼29% were associated with permanent and critical neurologic injury, for example, death, quadriplesia, ect. The writers experienced two cases of missed traumatic cervical spine injury.
