        단어단위 음운분석에 의한 말 늦은 아동의 음운 특성

        배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 말 늦은 아동의 음운 특성을 단어단위 음운분석을 사용하여 음운의 근접성과 변이성의 측면에서 일반 아동과 비교하여 살펴보고자 하였다. 방법: 24-35개월 사이의 말 늦은 아동 10명과 생활연령을 일치시킨 일반 아동 10명을 대상으로 구조화된 놀이 상황에서 목표 실험 단어를 산출하도록 유도하였다. 아동이 산출한 단어를 전사하여 평균음운길이, 단어단위근접률, 단어단위변이율을 분석하고 말 늦은 아동과 일반 아동 간에 음운의 근접성과 변이성에 차이가 있는지 비교하였다. 결과: 음운의 근접성은 두 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 있었고 말 늦은 아동이 일반 아동에 비해 평균음운길이와 단어단위근접률이 더 낮게 나타났다. 음운의 변이성은 두 집단 간에 유의한 차이가 있었고 말 늦은 아동이 일반 아동에 비해 단어단위변이율이 더 낮게 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 본 연구결과를 통해 말 늦은 아동의 언어 발달 예측 요인으로 음운 능력 평가의 필요성을 논의하고, 중재 시 음운적 중재를 함께 고려할 것을 제안하였다. Objectives: The purpose of this study is to investigate the phonological characteristics of late-talkers by examining whether there were differences in phonological ability between children with normal language development and late-talkers in terms of phonological prox-imity and variability based on phonological whole-word analysis. Methods: Ten late-talkers (age, 24-35 months) and ten age-matched, typically developing children participated in the study. Target words were produced as a naming task in a structured play situation. The words produced by the children were transcribed and then analyzed according to phono-logical mean length of utterance (PMLU), proportion of whole word proximity (PWP), and proportion of whole word variability (PWV) with phonological whole-word analysis. Re-sults: First, there were significant differences in phonological proximity between the two groups. Late-talkers scored lower in PMLU and PWP. Second, there were also significant dif-ferences in phonological variability between the two groups. Late-talkers showed higher PWV. Conclusion: These findings indicate that late-talkers experience difficulty producing complex syllable structures with accurate pronunciations and thus produce words with lower intelligibility than typically developing children. They also tend to show more incon-sistent phonological patterns. The findings imply a need to evaluate phonological ability as a predicting factor of language development in late-talkers and to consider phonologi-cal intervention when establishing intervention goals for late-talkers.

        Ovalbumin에 의해서 유도된 inducible nitric oxide synthase 발현에 대한 phenethyl isothiocyanate의 억제효과

        이번 실험을 통하여 PEIC가 OVA에 의해 유도된 NF-κB 활성과 iNOS, COX-2 발현에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아 보았다. PEIC는 OVA에 의해 유도된 NF-κB 활성을 억제시켰다. 또한 PEIC는 OVA에 의해 유도된 iNOS의 발현도 억제시켰다. 하지만 PEIC는 OVA에 의해 유도된 COX-2 발현은 억제시키지 못하였다. 이러한 결과는 iNOS와 COX-2가 서로 다른 메커니즘에 의해 조절된다는 것을 암시한다. 또한 PEIC는 알러지와 같은 만성적인 질병들을 조절할 수 있는 치료제 개발 및 백신 제조에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대한다. Egg allergies have been reported as one of the most prevalent food hypersensitivities in the pediatric population. One of the major egg allergens is ovalbumin (OVA), which is the major protein in the egg whites. Phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEIC) from cruciferous vegetables has an effect on anti-inflammatory therapy. In the present report, we show that PEIC inhibits the nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) activation induced by OVA. PEIC also inhibits the OVA-induced inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) expression and nitrite production. However, PEIC did not suppress the cyclooxygenase- 2 (COX-2) expression induced by OVA. These results suggest that PEIC has the specific mechanism for anti-inflammatory responses and efficient anti-allergic activities.

        학교도서관 활용수업에 대한 교과교사의 인식 연구

        학생의 교과학습능력 및 문제해결능력을 향상시키고 학습태도를 변화시키는 등 자기주도적 학습능력을 신장하고 실현하기 위해선 학교도서관 활용수업에 대한 교과교사들의 인식이 높아야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 도서관 전담인력(사서교사, 사서, 일반교사)에 따라 일선 교과교사들이 느끼는 학교도서관 활용수업(집단형태별, 수업모형별, 협력수업모형별)에 대한 필요성과 효과성에 유의미한 차이가 있는지를 밝혀서 그 결과를 교육현장에 발전적으로 적용하여 학교도서관 활용수업을 활성화하고자 한다. 전술한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 경기도 10개 지역의 30개 고등학교의 교과교사 278명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.

        슈퍼스칼라 프로세서에서 값 예측을 이용한 모험적 실행의 전력소모 측정 및 분석

        최근의 고성능 슈퍼스칼라 프로세서에서는 명령어 수준 병렬성(Instruction-Level Parallelism, ILP)의 장애가 되는 명령어 간의 데이타 종속관계를 극복하기 위해 명령의 결과 값을 미리 예측하여 종속명령들을 모험적으로 실행한다. 이러한 값 예측을 사용한 모험적 실행으로 성능은 향상되나 값 예측 테이블의 빈번한 참조와 갱신으로 부가적인 전력 소모를 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 값 예측으로 인한 성능향상과 부가적인 전력소모 간의 관계를 측정 분석한다. 또한 확신 카운터(confidence counter)를 사용한 값 예측 시도의 조정으로 모험적 실행의 정도를 조절하고, 예측 성공률이 높은 유용한 명령들만을 선택적으로 예측하여 성능을 유지하면서 부가 전력소모를 줄인다. 제안된 방식의 검증을 위해 사이클 수준 시뮬레이터에 전력소모 모델을 결합하여 프로세서의 기능수준 동작뿐만 아니라 프로세서의 전체 전력소모 및 사이클 당 전력소모도 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하여 검증한다. In recent high-performance superscalar processors, the result value of an instruction is predicted to improve instruction-level parallelism by breaking data dependencies. Using those predicted values, instructions are speculatively executed and substantial performance can be gained. It, however, requires additional power consumption due to the frequent access and update of the value prediction table. In this paper, first, the trade-off between the performance improvement and the increased power consumption for value prediction is measured and analyzed. And, in order to reduce additional power consumption without performance loss, the technique of controlling speculative execution with confidence counter and predicting useful instructions is developed. Also, in order to prove the validity, a tool is developed that can simulate processor behavior at cycle-level and measure total energy consumption and power consumption per cycle.

        Carcinomas of Bartholin`s gland are rare tumors that account for less than 1% of all gynecological malignancies. Two major histological types, squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma, account for 80% to 90% of primary cases. The remainders are adenosquamous carcinoma, adenoid cystic carcinoma and so on. We experienced a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the Bartholin`s gland managed by wide local excision and chemotherapy with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil (5-FU). We present this case with a brief review of the leteratures.

        This study is a preliminary study for the development of a VRF heat pump system applying a Low GWP refrigerant. The goal of the study is to compare Low GWP refrigerant and R410a refrigerant in VRF heat pump systems. In this paper, we analyzed the characteristics of heating operation when the VRF heat pump system applied with R410a was installed in another zone. Two demonstration sites using the VRF heat pump system were selected in the metropolitan area (Seoul) and the southern area (Jeju). Heating operation data was obtained by installing measuring instruments in the indoor and outdoor areas of the demonstration site and in the VRF heat pump system. Analysis of heating characteristics will provide useful information for the development of a VRF heat pump system applying Low GWP refrigerant. In the future, it will be used to review data for developed products using Low GWP refrigerants.

        병리추가조직검사 정보전달을 위한 업무프로세스 연구

        Purpose: Ancillary tests such as immunohistochemistry or molecular testing for pathologic diagnosis are performed using ready-made tissue blocks for a histological examination. Various methods and processes during ancillary testing cause some of issues, particularly in the time required and the results reporting scheme. Methods: To solve these issues, we constructed real-time management software. When a pathologist or a clinician had ancillary tests examined using this software by selecting the codes of the needed ancillary tests on site and the system assigned the tests to each laboratory. Then, pathology technologists checked the referred tests and performed the examination. In clinical departments, serial number of each ancillary test can be matched the original pathologic ID. In the department of pathology, numbers of tissue blocks that needed additional tests could be indicated and detected using one-click detection system when a clinician referred the test. Results: Using this system resulted in simplifying the referral procedures from nine-steps to three-steps in each clinical department and from seven-steps to two-steps in department of pathology. Errors that happened on the paper-based request system were also reduced. Furthermore, the time required was saved by seven hours in pathologic laboratory on average. Mean durations from requesting to reporting of the ancillary test was reduced by three days for specimens of health promotion center. Conclusion: Construction of an effective information transfer system may be helpful for shortening the time required, reducing errors, and checking processing information of the tests in real time.

        Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play an important role in induction of innate immune responses. The activation of TLRs triggers inflammatory responses that are essential for host defense against invading pathogens. Phenethyl isothiocyanate (PEITC) extracted from cruciferous vegetables has an effect on anti-inflammatory therapy. Dysregulated activation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) has been shown to play important roles in the development of certain inflammatory disease. To evaluate the therapeutic potential of PEITC, NF-κB activation and COX-2 and iNOS expression induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS, TLR4 agonist), polyinosinic-polycytidylic acid (Poly[I:C], TLR3 agonist), 2 kDa macrophageactivating lipopeptide (MALP-2, TLR2 and TLR6 agonist) or oligodeoxynucleotide 1668 (ODN1668, TLR9 agonist) were examined. PEITC inhibits the activation of NF-κB induced by LPS or Poly[I:C] but not by MALP-2 or ODN1668. PEITC also suppressed the iNOS expression induced by LPS or Poly[I:C]. However, PEITC did not suppress COX-2 expression induced by LPS, Poly[I:C], MALP-2, or ODN1668. These results suggest that PEITC has the specific mechanism for antiinflammatory responses.

        To address global warming and climate change, air source heat pumps, known for their high energy efficiency, are emerging as a key eco-friendly solution for heating and cooling. These heat pumps can replace fossil fuel-based heating systems, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. However, the hydrofluorocarbon(HFC) refrigerants traditionally used have high global warming potential(GWP), posing environmental concerns. Consequently, there is ongoing effort to replace them with low-GWP refrigerants. This study develops an air source heat pump utilizing low-GWP refrigerants and analyzes its performance and environmental benefits through field tests. Specifically, it compares the low-GWP heat pump with conventional high-GWP heat pumps under various operating conditions, assessing differences in energy efficiency, performance, and greenhouse gas emissions. This comparison verifies the potential for low-GWP refrigerants to improve the efficiency and sustainability of heat pumps, providing a pathway for the future development of environmentally-friendly heating and cooling systems.
